👀What’s the RIGHT cleanser for you?

Hello, beautiful people😘! Let's talk about cleanser today - the most fundamental skincare must have. While lots of people often get confused when choosing the right cleanser for themselves, we have lots of beauty experts in our Cherie community that are good at recommodating facial cleanser based on different skin types🤩. Let's take a look at some of our Cherie members' comments on facial cleanser to understand why and how we use it. @skin_sense “Recommendations: ~CLEANSER~ -Cerave hydrating cleanser (gel for normal to dry skin) -Cerave foaming cleanser (gel to foam for combo to oily) -Cetaphil Daily facial cleanser -Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant-Rick Face Cleanser (for all skin types) treatment -ZitSticka KILLA patch kits -Peter Thomas Roth Ance-Clear Invisible Dots (Salicylic Acid)” @G.Em “Clean and Clear tend to have a lot of fragrances. Lemme just tell ya.. STAY AWAY FROM FRAGRANCE! Fragrances tend to irate the skin and cause unnecessary Oil. It can clog pores etc. Try the Oil Free Acne Cleanser by Neutrogena and use a Cerave moisturizing lotion as a moisturizer. Take a small squeeze, rub it in your hands and push onto the skin instead of rubbing. Pretend you are rolling a tortilla with your hands. Just gently pressing the skin. This stuff will help wonders and last about 2-4 months. It only costs about $10.00.” @EmilyFuller “I have only used the Renewing SA Cleanser so far, but I have heard really good things about their other cleansers as well. I know that they have the Foaming Facial Cleanser for Oily Skin, and the Hydrating Facial Cleanser for Dry Skin. I am guessing that the main purpose of both of these is to reduce oil production or dryness. The cleanser that I use has Salicylic Acid in it which helps eliminate acne. I would recommend this cleanser for people with combination to oily skin. It may be a bit too drying for people with dry skin. CeraVe also has an Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser. This cleanser has Benzoyl Peroxide in it, which is another ingredient that can help get rid of acne. I guess this cleanser could be used as an alternative to the Renewing SA Cleanser if you struggle with acne and the Salicylic Acid did not help you. This cleanser is also a cream cleanser, so it may be more hydrating and better for people with dry skin.” S/O to all the Cherie members who provided us with these insightful comments. This face wash is for people with normal skin and is supposed to work wonders with acne. Sadly for me no wonders took place, although I did see some improvement. Overall this cleanser helps keep my acne “tamed”, although even that doesn’t always work. I was disappointed by the fact it wasn’t cleared since that is what I heard others saying. 3/5 stars- because there was so much hype I didn’t experience, it does help some what, and it has great ingredients+price point

Five Tips To Stop Maskne 🛑😷
Five Tips To Stop Maskne 🛑😷
There are five simple tips on how to avoid acne while wearing a mask.  1) Keep clean. It should go without saying, but I’ll say it. Start with a clean surface under that mask. A nice, gentle cleanser like Rooted BEAUTY - Sensitive Skin Facial Cleanser or bioelements - Sensitive Skin Cleansing Oil which will keep your skin barrier healthy without stripping is important as a start. 2) Friction isn’t your friend in a face mask so using a silicone cream like jane iredale - Absence Oil Control Primer which has zinc and green tea to help reduce blemishes and irritation while acting like a barrier against your skin like Lansinoh - Lanolin Nipple Cream (not just for boobs 👀) which is like a breathable bandaid for the face so helps the skin not get rubbed raw and getting breakout from friction. 3) Don’t add extra products like SPF, heavy moisturizer, or makeup to places where the mask sits. The only things I recommend under your mask is a lightweight, water based serum and a barrier cream to help reduce friction from rubbing. Anything else just makes the skin 😤. 4) Anytime you remove your mask try and wipe down your face with a cool cloth or facial wipes like ULTA BEAUTY - Healthy Hydration Micellar Facial WipesSweat is hard on the skin. It drops the pH and makes you prone to acne. When you are breathing in your mask all day it gets hot and sweaty. Find times when you can rinse off. 5) Perhaps most important, Wash your mask daily and wash it in a fragrance free soap. Please don’t wear it twice if you want to avoid acne breakout or other creepy crawlies. If you do have to wear a mask more than once be sure to have a disposable shield inside it. Stay safe and be healthy. 💕 #cheriecreator #esthetician #maskne #acne #skintips

I thought I’d love cerave too....
I thought I’d love cerave too....
Hi everyone, this is my first time ever posting anything here and I’m hoping someone can help me. My skin was finally cleared out after using another product but wanted to give this one a try when I ran out of the other one. After a few days I noticed this started to happen to me, I’m not sure if it’s “purging” as many say. But I want to know your opinions if it happened to those who have tried this? Or did it go away. Hope I can get answers😰

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser Review
Cerave Hydrating Cleanser Review
I (like many others) saw all the hype around this product and had to try it for myself. The bottle I got is now empty and I have been using it for about 2 months now! Now you may be wondering why I rated CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser only 3 stars... At first I LOVED this product. It made my skin sooo smooth and soft and I fell in love so I used it every am and pm. After about a month I started getting TONS of Fungal Acne all around my face but especially around my chin. I wanted to love this product so bad that I kept using it even though I was getting these results! I know that it wasn’t another product causing this because I only use the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser and the CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin (I do love the Moisturizer btw). Eventually gave up and I stopped using both of the Cerave products. My fungal acne didn’t just *poof* away but it has gone down significantly! Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions!

Which cleanser is best?
Which cleanser is best?
I have been looking for a good cleanser to use after my DHC cleansing oil. I am currently using the Cetaphil gentle cleansing bar..which is not cutting it. I have dry and sensitive skin. I use the Cerave daily moisturizing lotion on my face everyday and I love it!! So I thought I’d give the Cerave gentle face cleanser a shot, but then I found the La Roche-Posay hydrating gentle face cleanser. They both look fantastic but I’m not sure which one would be best🤔 LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face CleanserCeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser
