🤩TELL ME!! Your favorite skincare brand!!
Everytime I walked into a mall and saw millions of skincare brands, I died🤯. Countless brand names made me crazy!!! Not gonna lie, I always wanted to give up before even getting started to choose the right product for myself just because there were SO MANY brands out there😤. I ended up never switiching to other brands. Some mean girls said it was miserable...but serously? Y'all tried out every single brand and went home with the right product🧐? Okay, I am just cruious, so please...please tell me what's your favourite brand so I can at least get some exposure to other brands and have some other options. 👀👀👀 Don’t forget to follow me, CheriePick, an official Cherie account and your best friend, to interact with other Cherie members and get the best content in the community😘
beautiewithjenI personally love Youth to the People, Ceravae, Farmacy Beauty, The Ordinary or the Inkey list! I can’t stick with just one brand. Not everything the create is for me. So I use a little from all sorts of brands ❤️

CheriePickSuch a great idea to experiment with every product a little bit instead of sticking to a single one!! Guess that’s why you were able to write so many high quality reviews of different products😎

Progression of my pimple
Really trying hard to flatten this. I’ve used pca acne cream twice and it didn’t quite do much. I got frustrated last night and squeezed it and then put an acropass trouble cure pimple patch on it. The bottom right picture is the result. I think it got bigger?! Can someone help me?! I’m so mad I even have this break out when we are finally opening up in Toronto and I finally felt my skin was getting so much better and now I’m back to feeling like crap about having acne.....

In the picture I am tending up the skin on my chin to make these spots more visible, but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice. I am a teenager so my hormones probably aren’t helping me here, but other than the occasional pimples on my forehead I don’t get any other acne. I’m not quite sure what kind of pimples these on my chin really are, but if anybody has some recommendations on how to get rid of them or reduce them, it’d be greatly appreciated. : )
Let me start by saying: 1. This could be a long post so I apologize 2. I hate my skin and NEVER post a selfie without makeup or a filter so here’s to a first 🍻 I joined this app in order to get actual opinions and reviews on products to help better my skin as my goal is to one day love it! I have always stuck with the same products and never branched out even though it clearly wasn’t working for me. I figure since this app will hopefully bring me down a not so long and happy road to great skin I would share this journey with you to hopefully help/give hope to anyone who is here for the same reason as me. Unedited, no filter, no makeup - just me. Bare faced me. The second picture is one a took a little while ago as I haven’t taken a recent one (sorry it’s a terrible picture). My skin was covered in cystic painful acne and just acne in general. This picture doesn’t even begin to show how bad it actually was. I went on birth control which helped a lot but had to go off of it as I have history of breast cancer in my family and didn’t want to increase my risk any more than it already was and the cystic acne returned. I started to branch out a little bit but not much in the skincare department. I went back to the basics and the first picture is what’s skin looks like now! ❌ I have apple cider vinegar (used as a toner and diluted with water), tea tree oil, and drinking more water to thank for this skin! ❌ 🔅Off topic: Vinegar is an amazing liquid that I recommend everyone start using!! Apple cider vinegar is good for your body and skin and white vinegar is good for laundry and cleaning - I will give more information on how I use it for my skin if anyone is interested.🔅 Most of the marks you can see on my skin now is scarring and pigmentation. I still have some general acne as I am not great with not falling asleep on my dirty couch pillows (thanks to my dog) and some of it is still hormonal. Now that most of the acne is gone I am buying products to focus on clearing up some scarring and will keep you updated on what’s working and what’s not. I posted this as a starting point for me taking a step in the right direction and I look forward to seeing my skin improve! I might post my current skincare routine as it’s not a bad one - I just need to incorporate some more products and change a couple out.
