Lucious Lips 💋
First follow me for more content this like this and then go follow@RedheadSkincarebecause sis put me on to this! I got this sample from Sephora and I was this close 🤏🏾 to choosing a different gift but I remembered her review and decided to go with this set instead. Glad I chose the Laneige gift set because this did not disappoint! The directions says to wipe off the remaining amount the next morning but my lips were so dry this mask melted into my skin like buttah! A tip for anyone thinking about trying out new skincare for the first time. Always start small and get a sample or travel sizes first. Some skincare can be pricy so I like to try it out before going all in especially as someone with sensitive skin. My motto: Try Before You Buy! Can’t wait to share my thoughts on the rest of the goodies I got. ✌🏾 LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

Heatless Curls & Beneath The Makeup
This weekend I decided to revisit my Curl Formers to get this look. I wanted some curls but I did not want to put any heat on my hair so I decided to give these a try. I usually use them on wet hair but I decided to use them on air dried hair and this is how they turned out. Curl formers are similar to flexirods but they give you a spiral curl instead of a cork screw curl. I was having a few breakouts but I really wanted to get all dolled up for the day and this foundation was calling my name. So to avoid irritating my skin even more by applying makeup over my breakouts I thought I would try putting a few hero patches beneath my foundation. This was my first time trying both this foundation and wearing these patches beneath my makeup. I had about 5 patches on but only two of them are really obvious. I’m surprised how well it blended into my skin. Also my breakouts were no longer irritated or inflamed by the end of the day when I was ready to remove my makeup. Once I got past the uncomfortable feeling of thinking about what I looked like wearing the patches with my foundation, I was fine. I’m obviously not a dermatologist or anything but FOR ME I liked having a barrier between my skin and the foundation that could treat my skin while still being able to enjoy getting glammed up and wearing foundation. Let me know if you have any tips, tricks, or skin hacks you like to do when you have a breakout. Do you go bare face or just apply makeup directly over your breakout? Do you have a go to method for heatless curls? I’m curious to know what others are trying. I Was Not Expecting This!
First 👏🏾 OF 👏🏾 All👏🏾 When I came out the bathroom with this mask on my dog was barking and acting brand new! I was like, wait a minute...hold up now... same chick just new skincare 🧖🏽♀️ With all that being said this sheet mask was def a new experience for me. I’ve tried it twice since getting it and it’s not like any other mask I’ve had before. For instance when I first took it out the package it was two black sheet mask stuck together. I assumed I was supposed to apply them both at the same time because that’s what I ended up doing later to realize one was the film and the other was the mask (I couldn’t tell the difference at first) The instructions stated if you want more bubbles keep massaging it into your face. WELL As you can see in the second photo I got a little bubble crazy because the sheet was no longer black it turned completely white from me massaging my face through the mask. I thought after 10-20 minutes the foam would go away. While I was waiting for the mask to stop doing it’s thing I turned to google to figure out if I needed to rinse off the residue once I’m ready to remove the mask. It turns out you should NOT rinse this off but continue to massage and work it into your skin. When I finally took the mask off, my face felt like it had just ate a mentos breath mint. I felt a cool tingly feeling all over. I rubbed the product into my skin and continued the rest of my routine. The second go round (1st photo) I removed the film and it did not bubble as much. I was not expecting it to make that big of a difference but it did. However the one thing that was consistent from both experiences was after removing the mask there is a weird thick and sticky residue but boy does it make my face feel soft the next day! I also really enjoy the bubbles for some reason. Anywho this mask is a keeper and now I’m def interested in trying out other Dr.Jart products. #Dr. Jart+ - Dermask Ultra Jet Porecting Solution Bubbling Charcoal Sheet Mask[products]#[FourStars]

Eucalyptus Shower Takeover 🚿🌿
I’m a fan of Eucalyptus in my shower. I have both fresh Eucalyptus hanging & I sometimes sprinkle this salt in my shower AURA CACIA - Clearing Eucalyptus Shower Salt Since I’ve been spending more time inside I’ve been putting in EXTRA effort to make my home and especially my bathroom feel as calm and relaxing as possible. The hanging eucalyptus already gives my shower a sprinkle of aroma but then add in this shower salt & BAM! It’s like my shower instantly turns into a day spa.... well at least in my head it feels that way. When the water from my shower hits these bath salts I can just feel the stress of the day just washing down the drain. It clears my sinuses and is something I look forward to when I’m feeling stressed or had a long day. 😌 The scent doesn’t last for a long time but the little burst that I smell when I first pour it into my shower is amazing!

Why I’m No Longer Using Hair Glue as Lash Glue
Okay soooooooo yes I use to use hair glue as lash glue WHY you might ask.... because it worked! & in case you are wondering, it worked pretty dam good. So obviously I def should not have been using hair glue near my eye but I figured since it was safe enough for my hair why not my eye. Wrong! If you have ever got a quick weave or a ponytail you know if this glue gets on your clothes say goodbye to that cute outfit. However what I liked most about using the hair glue is it gets tacky once on your skin. So this makes it easy to apply, reposition or rub off any extra glue if it is placed in the wrong area. But like I said if this gets on your clothes 🙅🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ What made me start applying my lashes with hair glue? WELL My local nail salons had lash technicians who were using it to apply strip eyelashes so I thought if the professionals were using it then it must be okay for me to use. Wrong again! Anywho that’s another story for a different day. Later I came across this eyelash adhesive made by i-Envy the main ingredient that stuck out to me was rubber latex. I gave it a try and it works just like the hair glue but a little bit more safer to use around your eye. In my opinion they both are not the safest because it’s GLUE by your EYE BUT It gets the job done! Anywho I’m currently using i-envy as my current go to adhesive for strip lashes but if you have any recommendations or thoughts on other lash adhesives that are safer let me know. I love wearing eyelashes, from minks to strips...... I love them all ! But I have to be honest most glue on the market is not always the best or safest. I research or bring my own glue if I get them done at the shop but I wish I knew of more options out there. i·ENVY by KISS - Super Strong Hold Clear Eyelash Adhesive

Get rid of acne scars💫
🌿The Banisher 2.0 makes microneedling easy and simple to do. It has a twist off cap which protects the bristles and also allows you to clean your tool as well. It doesn't hurt to use the banisher and only takes a couple of minutes. 🌿Ever since my acne has been reducing I've been left with quite a few scars on my face. I remember I purchased this a while back and was planning on using it. However, when the virus forced us to put on masks my acne started getting worse. I wasn't wearing the correct mask at the time so it was reasonable that my acne started acting up. But now my face is clearing up because I'm wearing the proper mask, good products, and wearing SPF😁💚. 🌿This did come with the banish oil which was really great to use because it helped to smooth my face. Its suggested to use the oil right after microneedling so the ingredients work faster. It contains L-Ascorbic acid to help promote collagen synthesis. 🌿Also don't use the banisher over ACTIVE breakouts. It will only get worse and cause more scarring and acne. However when I did use this for the first three months of purchasing I noticed my scars were dissappearing and my skin was more smoother. The texture of my skin also changed as well. I only use it once a week and I'll be sure to keep you guys updated 💖💖💚. 🌿I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to give rid ofl their scars or smooth the texture of their skin.🥰 BANISH - Banisher 2.0
Lip sleeping mask😘
First, follow me for more content like this😘💖 So this product is definitely a cult favorite and I was very weary on buying it because I just thought putting on chapstick at night would be the same as using this product. I was so wrong. The Laneige lip sleep mask is made to nourish and hydrate your lips while you sleep. It is formulated with vitamin C, antioxidants, and berry mix complex (raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry). This mask “helps boost hyaluronic acid and it forms a protective film over your lips to help lock in the moisture”. At the end of my night time routine I put a lot of this on (says to apply generously) and it feels just like chapstick (balm like texture), it’s not heavy at all and super moisturizing and it doesn’t dry down. In the morning I wipe it off and my lips are so smooth and plump and supple. I can see why everyone loves this. I will definitely buy the full size product, especially for these winter months. My lips seem to love this product and I’m gonna give them whatever they want. LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask Limited Edition-Sweet Candy

Repurpose Your Unwanted Products ♻️
This is a trend I’ve been seeing lately so I thought I’d share some things I’ve seen and also have done. I am guilty of being a product junky, who will buy something in a heartbeat. Yet what do you do when you come across a product that you do not like? You’ve already used it, so you can’t take it back and it’s super disappointing! Moisturizers If your moisturizer didn’t break you out but just sucked you could: use it as a eye cream use it as a neck cream If it did break you out or irritated your face: patch test on your body and try: -your hands -your legs -your feet (I am guilty of this) Toner I have used a toner as a makeup brush neutralizer. I washed my brushes with dish soap or brush shampoo Then dip my brush tips on toner and then rinse. I felt this took the soap residue from my bristles. Sheet & Other Mask I saw this on the internet but using this as a foot mask! I’ve had a couple of sheet mask that just did nothing. I wish I would’ve thought of this but it totally makes sense. Your feet has totally different skin then the rest of your body, so care is just as if not more important. A sheet mask is usually formulated with vitamin e, hyaluronic acid, and other nourishing ingredients. Acne treatments If you struggle with body acne, then this is perfect. This is also great for those with strawberry legs or KP. I would beware of your private areas, but using it as a body wash or body mask might be beneficial. Please patch test and determine at your own discretion what will work. You can also reuse the container. I’ve seen people make plant pots and other creative things. So keep your container and just mourn your wasted dollars in a way you can use. What other ideas have you thought about with unwanted products? (Photo Cred: @mostlyskincare IG)

How to Wear a Lace Front Wig – A Beginner’s Guide
Wigs are definitely having a moment in the beauty industry. For a long time, wigs have only been seen on celebrities (and maybe our grandmas or aunties) but now it seems like everyone and their mom has a lace front. The surge in popularity of lace front wigs can be attributed to the rise of the online influencer. Celebrity culture has been unattainable for decades, but the emergence of social media stars has given us easy access to content we couldn’t have consumed before. Hair stylists and wig connoisseurs alike showcase their talents for the masses on social media platforms.
My biggest hair secret!
I love Navratna Ayurvedic oil! I purchase this at local Indian markets but you can also find it on Amazon. This is a blend of oils that have a cool feeling: Sesame oil, Menthol, Amla, Camphor, Thyme and Rosemary Oil. Rosemary oil is great for boosting circulation and growth. I use this once a week and feel that it has kept my Navratna - Ayurvedic Cool Hair Oil hair healthy, soft and shiny. I also do feel it is the reason my hair grows so long. I use the oil in my scalp and the strands of my hair. I massage my scalp gently for an additional 5-10 minutes after applying. I leave the oil on overnight and then shampoo twice the next day. Stress is one of the main reasons people have hair fall. The menthol and cooling factor in this oil helps to relax me and in turn helps with hair loss. The scent is really strong for some so be mindful, but it doesn’t bother me.
