Voilà, French skincare routine🇫🇷tips for beginner
French beauty routine secrets from Parisian women, a 3-steps skincare routine to get glowing skin. Step 1: Cleanser Use a cleanser suited to your age and skin type. A teenage girl with oily skin prone to blemishes will have different needs than a middle-aged woman with thin, dry skin. Assess your skin's needs to choose the right cleanser. Step 2: Toner Toner removes all traces of cleanser and impurities while rebalancing the pH of the skin, which is 5.5. The pH of the water can reach 9.5 depending on where you live and the hardness of the water. After cleaning, the pH of the skin is therefore no longer balanced; your skin has to work hard to correct it. But the tonic lotion restores the pH as soon as you apply it, which soothes the skin. Step 3: Hydrator Morning and evening, you need to restore your skin's hydration to keep it fresh, soft and comfortable. There are all kinds of moisturizers, from light lotions to rich balms. However, most skin types respond well to a formula that retains hydration. As we all know, French woman are obsessed with natural glowing skin so you will never see a French woman with heaps of makeup on her face. Thus, the first and the most essential principle of French skincare is focus on skin treatments and not on makeup. Clear and health skin will enhance your beauty. A good cleansing routine is the key to a flawless complexion！

My Weird Go-To Nail Hack
BEAUTYBIO - The Radiance Brightening Vitamin E + Rosehip Seed Facial Oil #cheriepartner This is a little trick I’ve been using to keep my nails looking hydrated and fresh! Personally, I have a bunch of facial oils in my collection. I don’t use them all and I didn’t want them to go to waste, so I decided to use them on my nails! To use an oil, simply apply to the cuticle and rub in. I’ve actually found that applying oil to the nails helps them grow faster and stronger! Not only that, but it keeps my manicure looking new. This oil in particular from Beautybio is pretty pricy but I didn’t want to waste it. It works perfectly for the cuticles! I recommend looking for an oil blend with rosehip oil, castor oil, vitamin E, or argan oil. Those ingredients are proven to help strengthen nails. Who else uses this hack?

Is Thermal water Science backed?
Swipe left for more ⬅️ You must have heard about Thermal water, and people talking about how it helped their Acne.... It helps with mine too!!! I'll briefly explain about it... I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2018, and there it came with major hormonal imbalance. I get my hormonal imbalance worked out qith medication and it flares up after few months. This caused me have active cystic hormonal acne. I stopped having cystic acne in my late teenage and I never experienced acne after that. But in 2018 it all came back but this time I had it around my chin, side of cheeks. I am using Acne treatments, Active ingredients and potent chemical exfoliants since more than a year now. Few months back, I started using @avene Thermal Spring water to spritz on my face in the morning and night. This used to help me with painful acne, irritation and inflammation. It still helps me with tolerating the Actives batter and helps my skin calm down. 💧So What is Thermal water? ➡️Thermal water comes from hot springs. The water in these hot springs come from deep in the ground, where it’s heated by geothermal activity. 💧 What's in Thermal water and How does it help sensitive skin? ➡️It’s water but it isn't just water in a can. As the thermal water rises to reach the spring, it passes through rocks and soil which dissolve to add minerals to the water. The mineral content of a particular thermal water depends on where it comes from. The minerals include the ones found in your skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF), like chlorides, sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. ✨Swipe left in images for the list of variation in contents. 💧So, what does Thermal water do for our skin? ➡️ There's minimal scientific evidence on performance of thermal water helping skin. Only a handful of peer-reviewed studies. There's a report showing the Ancient use of thermal water in Balneotherapy (Bathing in Thermal water) against various skin issues like psoriasis and dermatitis. Thermal water is shown to be anti-inflammatory and helps with skin irritation. 💧How does it help my skin? Do I like it? ➡️With Active cystic acne and constant inflammation of hormonal brreakouts, I like the feel of this cool water on my skin. It's instantly cooling, soothing while it helps my skin tolerate the Active ingredients and Acne treatments better. 👍 I have experienced whenever I use Thermal water every morning and night my skin doesn't misbehave and experience redness. The water is merely any heavy and is very gentle on skin. And if it helps a little with inflammation, why not? ❤️ My favorites are @avene Thermal Spring water Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray and @evian Natural Mineral water evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray ✨❄️Do you like Thermal water? Face mist that reduces inflammation and hydrates
NIOD - Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist Today I want to talk about a mist which has definitely become my favourite. . 🔍WHAT IS IT? Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist (SDSM) is a skin treatment mist that protects the skin against oxidative stress, dehydration, helps with redness and inflammation. It balances and calms the skin. . 🔍Key Ingredients: * Yeast-Derived Superoxide Dismutase: stable, yeast-derived enzyme. Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is an antioxidant enzyme that protects from free radical, superoxide, providing defense against oxidative stress. * Purified North American Four O' Clock Flower: anti-inflammatory Aztec plant derivative. * Marine Exopolysaccharides: derived through fermentation process, prevent water loss and holds water more effectively than the highest molecular size of HA. * Malachite Rock Extract: purified, pH-balanced copper rich-mineral that provides protection against free radical damage by scavenging the superoxide radical. It also gives mist the turquoise color. I use this mist after cleansing twice a day. It is lightweight, hydrating, doesn’t feel greasy. It has never irritated my skin and works well with the other products. Most of the days, I skip using toners and essence. With a toddler around, I hardly get time for a detailed routine every morning. There have been days when my morning routine has been Cleanse, Mist, Sunscreen or Cleanse, Mist, Moisturize and SPF. As much as I love using toner, essence and serums, I don’t regret when I am not able to. All that matters is my skin should be happy and healthy. Perhaps, this is the reason I am loving this skin soothing mist for all its benefits and especially for days when I am in rush in the morning. It can be used for both face and body and is for all skin types. . This mist is alcohol free, silicone free, nut free, gluten free, cruelty free and vegan. . Price $50 for 240 ml. This mist is always out of stock. It gets sold out within few hours. I hope they restock soon.

I bought a huge aloe leaf for $5
Holika holika is a kbeauty brand that’s been known to make some really great products. One of those great products is the soothing gel that’s made from 99% aloe Vera from jeju Island. I purchased mine at Marshall’s for $5 but it’s also available on amazon for around $6 or so. If you’ve been keeping up with my posts you should know that I’ve started retinol recently and it’s making my skin purge. I use this HOLIKA HOLIKA - Aloe 99% Soothing Gel as my morning and night moisturizer to help with some of the redness from my breakouts. So far I’m in love with it, just it just has one teeny tiny problem. It’s hard to get only a small amount of the product out of the bottle 😭 My face is fairly small so I only need maybe a nickel size amount to cover my whole face because a little bit of this stuff goes and EXTREMELY long way. The dispenser makes it a bit hard to get only a little because you have to be very gentle when pressing the leaf. That’s my only problem with this product though. I really love the scent because it smells really clean and refreshing. Fragrance is one of the last ingredients so that’s also pretty good. It has a very watery gel like texture but once it absorbs into the skin it stays in the skin. The look of the product is also very cute and I enjoy it. So is it worth it for $5? Yes :)

Retin-A, Retinol + Retinoid are all interrelated, in that, each contain a high concentration of vitamin A. Each have the ability to unclog pores, encourage collagen production, + accelerate cell turnover. That being said, one may be stronger than the other + I will always suggest starting at a percentage at .5 or below, implemented 1-2 evenings a week. Retinoid is one of the necessary products, I will forever recommend to include within your skincare regimen, whether your condition is acne-prone or aging. I’ve recently fallen in love with the combination of Retinoid within an oil base. My sensitive skin has reacted so well to this innovation! The RetinOil by Instytutum is what you get when you combine Granactive Retinoid + 15 precious oils. It also contains patented Rasberry Stem Cells + Bakuchiol. Similarly to Retinol, Bakuchiol helps to instruct normal cell behavior, encouraging the natural shedding of the skin + boosting collagen/elastin production. The addition of Algae to the formulation allows a conditioning antioxidant to present itself along side of the other potent ingredients. I have been applying this alone, within my PM regimen, 1-2x a week + wake up with refreshed, smooth, + a brightened complexion every single time! #cheriecreator INSTYTUTUM - POWERFUL RETIN OIL
