Bye bye large pores ✨
It’s a multitasking skin-protecting, makeup-perfecting primer for face, eyes, and lips. Silk extracts feel nourishing on skin and diminish the look of pores, fines lines, and imperfections for the perfect canvas before makeup. I’ve been using this little guy for two months now and I can’t apply makeup without it! It creates the perfect and blurring base for my makeup! And most importantly it doesn’t break me put! It actually says it prevents breakout!! I was never a primer person, call me crazy but I always hated the texture! The Tatcha silk canvas has almost a whipped creamy texture that doesn’t leave your skin feeling too gooey. I can’t emphasize how much i enjoy this product. If I could give 10 stars I would! I bought the mini size and i still have a great amount left.. I don’t use makeup everyday but either way... a pea size works for the whole face. The mini size I bought is $ 22 0.24 fl oz. The full size is $ 52 0.7 fl oz. TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer

Silky Smooth With Tatcha Silk Canvas! 🪴
🪴Tatcha The Silk Canvas Filter Finish Protective Primer TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer 🪴Price: $52.00 (0.7oz) 🪴What It Is: “This multi-tasking skin-protecting, makeup-perfecting primer for face, eyes and lips: * Blurs: Silk extracts feel nourishing on skin and instantly diminish the look of pores, fines lines and imperfections for the perfect canvas before makeup. * Primes: Silk powder makes makeup glide on more evenly and last longer, minimizing excess shine with a soft focus finish. * Protects: Protective barrier derived from botanicals acts as a barrier between makeup and skin, helping to minimize clogged pores that can lead to breakouts. Anti-pollution natural active ingredients fight immediate attack from environmental stressors and help support the skin's barrier function to act against future attack, visibly reducing the appearance of wrinkles and dullness. * Enhances: Pink and gold pearl helps even skin tone for a healthy look. * Anti-aging: Hadasei-3™, a trinity of Japanese superfoods, green tea, rice and algae, visibly restores youthful radiance.” 🪴Side Note: Formulated without: Parabens, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, sulfate detergents, phthalates, urea, DEA or TEA, and cruelty-free! 🪴How To Use: “Glide the spatula lightly across the top of balm. Dot with fingertips and massage into skin. A little goes a long way. Use a rice-sized amount for the whole face. Can be used alone or with makeup. Apply after SPF, before any makeup.” 🪴My Thoughts: So I know this primer has a lot of mixed reviews, but I happen to really like it. The main complaint I see is that it pills up, but I think that’s because people aren’t using it the right way. For this primer it’s important that you only use a small amount, and I‘ve found it applies better when you gently press it into the skin (not rub). It leaves my skin smooth, blurred, and lays a beautiful base for my foundation which ends up looking flawless all day. I think it’s really cool that it also helps protect your skin and has anti-aging properties. It’s definitely expensive, but you get a good amount of product and it really is a great face primer. If you’re willing to splurge a bit, I would definitely recommend this!
My fav drug store product of 2020 for only $8!
Guys, I seriously can’t tell you how much I am in love with this primer! I’ve previously used Lancôme, Smashbox, Urban Decay and CoverFX primers which are all significantly more expensive than the US$8 / AU$16 for the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer This product is legit amazing! It has the most soft silky texture on the skin, fills your pores but doesn’t cause congestion or breakouts and makes my makeup look flawless! It’s a pale pink in the packaging but once it’s smooths into the skin completely disappears. There is no strong smell or fragrances so is completely pleasant to use. It’s considered by many beauty bloggers to be a dupe for the TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primerwhich I haven’t tried but at US$52 / AU$83 is roughly between 5-7 times more expensive depending on where you live! If you’re in the market for a primer which not only feels lovely on your skin but makes your pores appear smooth and your makeup flawless then I highly recommend you give the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer a go 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
1emptie1newbie Makeup primer at first feels like another extra step, but when it works, it's a game-changer and you just can't do your makeup with it. Dramatic, sure, but that's what I feel about this Tatcha Silk Canvas. A repurchase happened almost immediately after this one ran out because it’s such a great product to keep. Not only the packaging looks so pretty, its silky texture seems to fit together with whatever skincare I've got on underneath without messing out my skin's texture. It feels almost like a protective film between my makeup and my skin. I have clogged pores almost every time I’ve used a primer, but I have not experienced any massive breakouts or clogged pores with it since I started wearing it under my makeup. It treats your skin like a moisturizer, thanks to the silk, botanical and Akoya pearl extracts that can be found in the multi-tasking formula. A little tip to have the perfect blend: you have to warm it between your fingertips first to melt the balm into the skin. Then spread it all over your face, even eyes and lips, and press gently into the center of the face where pores are more visible. This way, the primer will melt into the skin seamlessly without that too-slick silicone texture sitting atop your face. It makes my foundation and concealer go on incredibly smooth, holds onto makeup very well and doesn't make me greasy as the day goes on. Even when I don't wear makeup, just a little powder, I still like to use this since it gives such a "blurring" and radiance effect to the skin.

Silk Canvas 🌸
TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer To begin with I found the packaging beautiful and a luxury and I received it for free to test, the product has a good texture to apply, left my skin beautiful, hydrated and visibly smaller pores and felt that makeup lasted longer, I found the price a little It is expensive but worth the investment because it is good and yields many applications.

Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer
This primer is entirely too good. It gives my skin a flawless base for makeup! Obvs you can still see some flaws like breakouts around my chin, but if I don’t look like a person after makeup, I’m not happy. laura mercier - Hydrating Pure Canvas Primer Claims: — Water based — lock in moisture — smooths skin — attracts moisture all day Key Ingredients: — olive extract — marine hydro botanicals — glycerin My thoughts: — the texture is so creamy, so light, and spreads so easily along my skin. — plays well with every product I’ve tried it with, including my spfs! — sinks in and makes my skin pretty poreless as well, as surprising as that is. — I don’t use this every day as it is pricy, but definitely on date nights or lil house parties or something, where I don’t want to worry about my makeup! — dries down pretty fast so I can get busy with makeup — no fragrance makes me really happy. — $38 for 1.7oz

Sephora collection primer for pores
on first glance this primer reminds me of Tatcha’s silk canvas because of its color and formulation. this primer is like a very very thick cream. I almost would not call it a cream because of how insanely thick it is. this is a product to cover our pores and people with poor issues tend to have acne as well. The thickness of this product makes me think that it is not non-comodegenic!!! which is a red flag for my friends with acne. it was so hard to get onto my skin because of how hard it was insanely rigid and thick the product is. I applied it on my hand and try to blend it out and noticed that it immediately started pilling. it did not stay down on my hand, and did not create a flat surface. it immediately came off and did not even settle in for a second. I don’t understand how we are supposed to put foundation on top of this I can only imagine how uneven and cakey it would make your face feel. I was disappointed by this product, for $14 i feel like Sephora scammed us. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Beauty Amplifier Pore Primer

Over priced hourglass primer
This is a nice primer but a bit overpriced for what it does… It’s good at keeping oil at bay but I do not see it hiding my pores. Obviously pores cannot be diminished but it literally does nothing for my nose and under eye pore area. I wouldn’t say its anything special. Its a cruelty free product so if you’re particular about that, then go for this. I do think this makeup base is good for acne prone and sensitive skin like mine.
Tatcha The Silk Canvas💗
💗 The purpose of this product is to smooth out your face and keep your makeup hydrated and keep it from getting oily. 💗 The product does what it is intended to do it does stop from your pores clogging up and from getting too oily throughout the day so it does do what it supposed to do. It hydrates your face hydrates your makeup. 💗 The texture of this product is very creamy and it just dissolves so quickly like nothing it is so light honestly doesn’t feel heavy at all. 💗 my experience with this primer has been good I’ve actually used it a couple of times because I did want to use it but it’s not meant for my face as I mentioned in the video because it is meant mostly for oily face and not dry face like mine so I just stop using it I use it here in there and just to use up the product and the reason I even own it is because it was a gift and I’ve had it for about two months now. 💗 I like the product if I did have an oily face I would use it and I definitely have heard so many good stuff about it so I do like the product but it’s a not meant for me. 💗 do I recommend this product?. I highly recommend the product again it’s just one of those primers that was just meant to literally change your face game. 💗 The product is worth it and it only retails for $22 which is a mini one so if you wanna invest in the mini one or the big one go ahead you will not regret it. My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
