Face Creams I DO NOT Recommend for Combo Skin
I have an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Let me introduce two facial creams that I tried recently but don't recommend using. 1) Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream I do not recommend this product, especially for people with oily skin! It has a greasy texture and doesn't get absorbed easily. No matter whether you follow it up with sunscreen, primer, or foundation, it tends to ball up, so it can only be used before bed. I still haven't even finished using it. 2) CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator I've used Clinique's Moisture Surge before and felt pretty good about it. Its gel texture doesn't ball up and it's very refreshing and moisturizing in summer. I bought its Moisture Surge Intense this time and the texture is very greasy in comparison. It doesn't absorb easily and will rub off onto the pillow when I sleep at night. I do not recommend this for oily or combination-oily skin, especially in summer. People with dry skin can give it a go.

You Might Have Never Heard of This Brand, But This is Surprising!
THE ORGANIC PHARMACY - Antioxidant Face Gel and THE ORGANIC PHARMACY - Antioxidant Face Firming Serum 35mlare from a British organic spa brand which produces pregnancy-safe products. I recommend using them together for greater results. People tend to go for instant skin rejuvenation products nowadays and have less interest in natural organic products like these. However, I really recommend using these two products because although they use natural and safe ingredients, the result is actually really obvious. I always look fairer and more radiant the next day after using them. They also seem to lighten acne scars. They have a really heavy fruity acidic scent, but I like it.

Krave Is an Amazing Brand!
Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser I highly recommend this hydrating cleanser! It's gentle but cleanses thoroughly. After using it, my skin feels refreshed and doesn't feel filmy, so it's really suitable for sensitive skin. I used to use The Ginza Lady Series Facial Cleanser and Omorovicza Cleansing Foam. However, although they cleanse well, they're irritable to areas of skin that are more fragile. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is also very gentle, but it doesn't cleanse as thoroughly as the one by Krave. So this cleanser is really suitable for people with fragile skin and those who want a cleanser that cleanses well but doesn't irritate. Krave - Kale-Lalu-yAHA It gently resurfaces your skin with AHA. I want my exfoliator to get rid of clogged pores and prevent breakouts. The Krave Beauty exfoliator is great in getting rid of clogged pores, but the AHA in this exfoliator causes mild irritation to sensitive skin. I recommend this to those who want to start experimenting with AHA.
Products I run out of in April
Dr Dennis Gross - Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel It almost achieved the same results as when I visited a dermatologist for chemical peeling. Although this is already a lot gentler than chemical peeling, it is still very irritating compared to ordinary skincare products. Step one is definitely more painful than step two. After step one, wait two or three minutes before moving on to step two and by then, you can already hardly feel the pain. It's still best to use with caution and start with a sample to see if your skin can tolerate it. Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original This balm is good for everything and I always bring it with me wherever I travel. You can even use it as a lip balm. SK-II Mid-Day Essence This product is very moisturizing for dry skin and the mist is very dense. I like it a lot.

I am a HUGE fan of La Roche-Posay
LA ROCHE-POSAY - HYDRAPHASE INTENSE HYALURONIC ACID EYE CREAM This is the eye version of the La Roche-Posay facial cream, and just like the facial cream, it is very lightweight. It feels great when using it and it's safe to use, even for people like me who get milia easily. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Lips Barrier Repairing Balm My love for La Roche-Posay B5 products extends to all kinds of B5 products from this line. Like the B5 Repair Cream, this is a lip care product that offers great repair effects. It has a matte texture, is not sticky, and is very moisturizing and nourishing. I heard that it is very useful for cheilitis, but I can't personally comment on this. Those with cheilitis can give it a try and see how well it works. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Soothing Repair Balm After using so many tubes of this, I realized it's better not to apply it on too thick, otherwise it might cause bumps even before the acne scars are cleared. Apart from being too greasy, it really works to eliminate facial redness and acne.

My Fav Makeup Remover
La Roche-Posay Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover I've been using this product for many years and it has always been my favorite. It's the strongest liquid eye makeup remover I've ever used without being greasy, dry, or irritating. It feels very refreshing and, for me, it's perfect. I've finished a dozen bottles and I will continue to repurchase it. CLINIQUE - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm As for cleansing balm, I only really use a jar each year, and this is a big 125ml jar. I think this removes makeup better than the RMK Point Makeup Remover, but it doesn't feel too different from Eve Lom. I think it is quite worth its price. Sometimes when I get lazy, I'll use this to remove both my eye and lip makeup. Eye makeup can be completely removed using this, but it might irritate your eyes a little bit.
