EVERYDAY SOFT GLAM MAKEUP
I love a soft glam look when i am going out during the day. I and this one is super simple. After i prime, color correct, and fill in my brows I like to put powder on before i put on my foundation and let it bake while i am applying my eyeshadow. It helps to absorb oils from my skin and keep my skin looking oil free throughout the day. I use laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Liquid Eyeshadow That’s the Cream of the CROP💥
This is hands down the best eyeshadow I’ve ever used, PERIOD! I love liquid eyeshadows because they make life so much easier. No cleaning a million brushes. I just use the applicator and then my finger to blend it out. But of all the eyeshadows I’ve used this one is something special. These CROP shadows super pigmented so you don’t need a ton of product. Once this dries it’s not going anywhere! (I recorded a video of me rubbing my fingers back and forth over the swatches but I can’t upload video and pictures together). It would literally last for the rest of your life if you didn’t use make up remover to take it off. It is reallybudge-proof, which is one of their claims. This product does dry fast so once you apply it you have to blend it out right away. It goes on creamy and doesn’t make your eyelid feel stiff once it dries. I am in LOVE! CROP offers 6 shades of this metallic liquid eyeshadow and I’m halfway there. They retail for $26 each which can seem pricey for one shadow but it will last forever because a little goes a long way! Also, all of their products are naturally derived and contain organic ingredients.
Trying a new (to me) makeup product✨
On friday night I got bored and decided to do my face. This is what I came up with. What was supposed to be a very natural beat turned into a VERY full glam beat very quickly. The star of the show was the Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette (vol. 1) that I recently got from their flash sale and sis made some points. I have never really been into blush (and I’m pretty sure I put too much on), but I really like how it worked with my bronzer to warm up my face. The other products on my face are: EYEBROWS: - NYX - Tame & Frame Brow Pomade in “Espresso” - L'ORÉAL - Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer in “415 Honey” EYES: - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Jackie Aina Eyeshadow Palette - bh cosmetics loose foil pigment and glitter glue - lashes from aliexpress BASE: - MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundationin “340 Cappuccino and 356 Warm Coconut” - e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealerin “Deep Olive” (highlight) - Juvia's PLACE - Juvia’s PLACE Shade Sticksin “Tunisia” (contour) - REVOLUTION - MAKEUP REVOLUTION Loose Baking Powderin “Banana Deep” (to set highlight) - MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powderin “355” (to set the rest of my face) - MORPHE - Glamabronze Face & Body Bronzerin “Trailblazer” - e.l.f. - Matte Magic Mist & Set LIPS: - NYX - Slim Lip Pencilin “Espresso” - NYX - Soft Matte Metallic Lip Creamin “London” - NYX - Butter Glossin “Fortune Cookie” - essence - Shine Shine Shine Lipglossin “Behind the Scenes” Aside from my lip products which I took off before putting my mask on, the makeup was 100% transfer proof! Do you see any of your favorite products here? Do you have any product/application recommendations for me? Let me know in the comments!
Best Full Coverage Concealers for Dark Circles!
If you’re like me and have killer dark circles, then you know how tough it is to find a concealer that eliminates the darkness completely without leaving a grey cast under your eyes. Even with color corrector, my under eyes always look like I haven’t slept in days. I’ve tried dozens of concealers over the years without much luck—until now. I’ve finally found 3 concealers that nearly eliminate my dark circles—even on days where I don’t have time to do more than conceal and run—and 1 “honorable mention.” I’ve listed my game changers below. Do you have a favorite? Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer This is my HOLY GRAIL concealer. First of all, this concealer comes in a bottle that’s as big as some of my foundation bottles. You get a ton of product for the money (Sephora: $29), and a little goes a long way. There’s little to no dry-down time required (which is huge when you’re in a hurry), and it blends out beautifully. On days where my dark circles are exceptionally bad, I build this concealer under my eyes without creasing (I do set with powder if I have to build though). Added bonus: it’s great for contouring and highlighting, too! I will never be without this concealer again. e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer If you’re looking for a full-coverage concealer on a budget, it doesn’t get much better than the e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer. This gem can be purchased for $6. Yes... $6. Don’t let the low price point scare you. This concealer’s formula is incredible, blends beautifully, and the coverage is flawless. I’ve not personally experienced any creasing with this product, though I’ve heard folks with more oily skin say they haven’t been so lucky. (This concealer is hydrating, so those with oily skin may experience more of a breakdown than those with normal or dry skin. Oil breaks down makeup—even when we don’t want it to!) This concealer comes with me in my purse for days I rush out the door without having time to put my face on, and it does it’s job every time. L'ORÉAL - Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer Another drugstore formula I swear by is an OG: L’Oréal Infallible. Variations of this concealer have been around for years, but the formula has recently changed (I think) for the better. I do still get some grey cast under my eyes using this one, but only after I’ve been wearing it for 4+ hours. If I set it with powder before heading out the door, the cast holds off a bit longer. The coverage is beautiful, but I sometimes have an issue with a clean blend on days where I put on a full face. Overall, a great concealer to have around at just $10! URBAN DECAY - Stay Naked Correcting Concealer This concealer missed the mark on coverage for me on its own—BUT, paired with the Stay Naked color corrector, the coverage is almost perfect. This guy is my honorable mention and great for my “natural” makeup days.

In my opinion this is a pretty okay mascara. It lengthens a bit; not too much. It adds volume okay. I love big bold dramatic lashes, but I hate glue on lashes. This mascara just does okay. I found it difficult to work with and hard to get my lashes separated and fluffy. The big negative I have is that this flakes! Now, bear in mind I haven’t been using a setting spray while using this mascara. I’ve run out and just have bothered/remembered to get more. So that may be what I’m doing wrong. However, just by itself it flakes and it can get into my eyes and just irritate them to no end. As far as just okay mascaras I am positive you can get something similar for way cheaper. In my opinion there are far better mascaras out there that don’t make you seriously regret buying them at full price. I won’t be repurchasing this product so I just can’t recommend it. Mascaras I can recommend: • tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara • LANCÔME - Hypnôse Drama Instant Full Volume Mascara
Chill day to capture a dewy earthy look. I’m totally in love with the rainbow highlights 🌈 🌈
Cure for Bad Day = Bright Lipstick!
I woke up in a funk today. I think months of nowhere to go, working from home and homeschooling have finally gotten to me. Plus yesterday I got dragged into someone else’s drama and that left me feeling uneasy and made it hard to sleep. So I did not want to get out of bed this morning. But I did. And to help cheer myself up, I put on a nice bright shade of lipstick. I am wearing Mac Lustre Lipstick in Lustering. These are $19 at Ulta, though I think my exact shade may be discontinued. It’s a light, creamy formula that goes on with a nice bright pigment. It really is a nice pick me up for a bad day.
Your lips need a skincare routine!!!
For years, I hated wearing lipstick. No matter what formula I bought or color I always found my lipstick highlighted every wrinkle, it feathered, faded too quickly, and looked cakey and dry! Well, most of us have a particular skincare routine for our face, but neglect our lips, at least I did. All of these problems were solved by paying attention to my lip care! The essentials for a lip care routine: A lip scrub- I currently use the LUSH - LUSH Honey Lip Scrub but most lip scrubs will work as long as it has enough scrubbies in it. I like to apply a little bit in the morning before washing my face so I can remove the oils because I tend to break out around my lips. If I still have leftover lipstick or stubborn color on my lips I will use this to remove my lipstick at night. A lip moisturizer- you can use whatever you like. I like the LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask or just regular Chapstick. I use this after my lip scrub and to make my lips softer. Then go in with your regular lip product of choice! I have tagged my current favorite lip products- MAC - Lustre Lipstick in See Sheer and MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in Spice. I have MAC Russian Red on the way and a few other colors I got for National Lipstick Day so I’m super excited about that!! Comment below with your favorite lip care products!!
MY FAV CONCEALERS: THEY GOT ME COVERED!
These are my favorite concealers! I use them all regularly and they all have different purposes and coverages. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick this is full coverage!! Nothing is shining through this product. I can be used as a concealer or foundation. This does not go with a full coverage foundation as it can make your makeup look caked on. I will use this with a lighter foundation. It still allows for full coverage. I use this when i am contouring but I might try it as a foundation because i love the coverage it gives. This is more of a cream than a liquid. It retails for $20. I use the shade Koa. L.A. Girl - HD Pro Concealer i usually get the shade fawn but i picked up the wrong one that’s why it is lighter than the others. The photo shows the shade Cool Tan. This is my favorite of the 3. It gives great coverage without making me look cakey no matter what foundation I use and it is the cheapest of the 3. It retails for $5 at Ulta. IL MAKIAGE - F*ck I’m Flawless Multi-use Perfecting Concealer this is the lightest of the 3. It won’t cake and can be built to full coverage. I like this for light makeup days or when I’m going for a no makeup makeup look. Its also super easy to mix with other shades which I like to do when I’m getting darker in the summer to find my perfect shade. I use the shade 14.5. This retails for $26. #CheriePartner
MY FAVORITE SUNSET EYESHADOW LOOK 🌅
In the summer I love experiment with bright colors. I created this sunset look that I love! Before I apply my eyeshadow I always prime my eyes. I either use urban decay primerURBAN DECAY - Eyeshadow Primer Potion or my concealer SEPHORA COLLECTION - Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick . It helps the color to pop. First I took the color “En Fuego” from the URBAN DECAY - Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette and applied it on and above my crease. I love this palette. It it has some great transition colors and i always default to warm colors. You can get a ton of looks out of this. Then i took “limoncello” from the DECK OF SCARLET - Edition No.11 Palette and applied it all over my lid and used bad behavior from the same palette for under my brow. This palette has s lip colors, eye shadow, blush and a highlight all of which can be used interchangeably. This palette is super versatile. I lined my eyes with .NYX - Epic Ink Liner This liner is so easy and hassle free. You don’t have to worry about smudging. The liner tip is pointed and very precise. It make winged liner super easy. I used duo brush on adhesive in dark MAC - Duo Brush on Adhesive to apply my lashes. Duo is my favorite lash adhesive. I don’t have to worry about my lashes moving. THEY ARENT MOVING! I also like a black adhesive because it blends well with my liner. HUDA BEAUTY - HUDA BEAUTY Classic Lash I am wearing Samantha #7. These are my favorite lashes! They last forever! As long as you clean them you can get a lot of wear out of them. #CheriePartner
THE PERFECT BASE: NO MORE OIL!
For people with oily skin or people that have oily t-zones it can be so hard to find a makeup combination that will keep your makeup in place for a few hours let alone all day. It is pretty much impossible for my skin to be 100% oil free all day but I have seen a reduction in how oily my skin gets and I no longer have to reapply using this method. Rather than an looking like a greaseball I look “dewy” . Step 1: After i moisturize my face I use BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector This is not for people with normal to dry skin. It can be very drying but it works great for oily or combination skin it really gives my skin a matte finish and absorbs any oil on my skin Step 2: I use tarte - Timeless Smoothing Primer This is great for reducing the appearance of pores and smithing out the texture of your skin. It is super thick and a little goes a long way. Step 3: URBAN DECAY - Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid This comes in a variety of colors but because I use it for dark spots and dark circles i use the shade Deep Peach. It helps to brighten dark areas and no dark spots shine through my foundation. Step 4: laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder I use the deep shade. I set my face with powder before I put on my foundation. This soaks up additional oils and I feel like putting powder on after my foundation makes my face look matte. If I am going for a dewy look I put it on before. And wait until i see little spots from where the powder absorbed oil before wiping away the excess. Step 5: LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation i use the shade 530 Suede C. I love this foundation. It is a full coverage liquid foundation. It’s not super runny this foundation lasts longer than any other foundation I’ve used and it’s so easy to blend! Step 6: Setting spray. I like to spray on my foundation before i highlight and contour my face and after. It helps my makeup stay in place way longer. I use MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray Matte Finish #CheriePartner
Natural makeup look
Unless I am going to some type of event, I usually stick to a more natural makeup look that doesn’t take much effort. First, I just follow my normal morning skincare routine: •Washing my face with CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser •Next I putCeraVe - Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum on my face and neck. •I follow that with LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Ultra Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin on my face and neck. • Next I putCeraVe - Eye Repair Cream under my eyes. •Lastly, I use CeraVe - Face Sheer Tint Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 30 on my face and neck, which will act as a primer. *Note: This is my every day routine, so if you want to skip it and just use a moisturizer and primer/ sunscreen that will work.* Next, I begin to apply the makeup. •I used to use ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil in “Medium brown” but I recently switched to NYX - Micro Brow Pencil in “Auburn” which is literally like the same thing but much more affordable. •I will then put Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer in shade “Nude” ONLY on my blemishes, and let it sit for a couple minutes before blending. -I spray my beauty blender withPETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydrating Toner Mist to prevent any unwanted crustiness or creasing, then blend out where I put the concealer. •I then put a light layer of MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder in “Buff beige” on my whole face. •Next I use MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Blush in “Nude” on my cheekbones and nose. •For my lips I use NYX - Suede Matte Lip Liner in “Mauve” and NYX - Butter Gloss in “Tiramisu” and blot my lips. •I finish off by spraying MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray Matte Finish lightly on my face. *Note: I get my lashes done, but I would suggest either putting on mascara or using falsies.*
SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND - MY HIGHLIGHT FAVS
The “Glass Skin” look has become popular lately, but I’ve always been a fan of blinding people with my highlight. Here are a list of my favorite highlighters. All of them are super pigmented so a little goes a long way! ✨COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Birthday Boy - this is an eyeshadow that I like to add to my highlight. It is an iridescent shadow with tiny pieces of glitter. This is buildable to create a high shine look, you can add it to another highlight to add glitter, and I also like to use it when I’m going for a subtle glow. ✨Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Do Not Disturb - I think Colourpop discontinued this highlighter. It is a rich gold highlighter. I like to use this when I am wearing warmer tones in my eyeshadow like reds and oranges because it has a warm undertone. ✨Primark Havana Palette - I got this palette from Primark forever ago and it is my go to highlighter. I am wearing it in the photo of me in this post. It gives a high shine glow. I like to mix the highlighter and bronzer shades together. The palette also has a pink blush and a contour. It has cool undertones. You can only purchase Primark products in store and there are very limited stores in North America but NYX strobe genius has similar shades, they are pretty much dupes. Everything in Primark is super inexpensive. This palette was $7 ✨NYX - Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette - i love this palette . It has so many different hues. All of the shades have a cool undertone and are super pigmented. It includes pink, gold, and purple shades. I love to mix and match these highlighters. sometimes I even use them as eyeshadow. This palette is $20 at Ulta. ✨DECK OF SCARLET - Illuminating Glow Drops in Copper - These super potent illuminating drops work great on its own as a highlighter but can also be mixed with your foundation for a dewy glow. If you’re going to use it on its own you need less than one drop this little tube will last you forever! I wouldn’t recommend this to people with oily skin it. It is a thick liquid highlight and could make your skin look a bit greasy. This would work better for people with normal to dry skin. #CheriePartner
Ready Set ✨GLOW✨: 10 Step Everyday Makeup!
I love this glowy natural look. It is perfect for the day time and is my go to makeup routine. I love all of the products that I used to achieve this look and have listed them all below: STEP 1 - Prime: BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector tarte - Timeless Smoothing Primer I apply with my fingers all over my face using the Becca Primer first and then the Tarte Primer. STEP 2 - Brows: MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil I clean up with my concealer (listed in step 5). STEP 3 - Color Correct: URBAN DECAY - Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid I used the shade deep peach and blend out with a brush until my skin is one even tone. STEP 4 - Foundation: LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation I use the shade 530 Suede C and apply with Citra & Co Siliblender STEP 5 - Concealer: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick I use the shade Koa 11. I apply to the middle of my forehead, the bridge of my nose, under my eyes, above my lip and on my chin. I blend using Siliblender. STEP 6 - Contour L'ORÉAL - L'Oreal Paris Infallible More Than Concealer 10ml I use shade Truffle 440 and apply to my cheekbones, the sides of my nose, along my hairline and along my jawline. I blend out using Siliblender. STEP 7 - Bake/Powder: laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder I use the shade Medium Deep and apply with powder brush to all of the places I applied concealer and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Then wipe off any access. STEP 8 - Highlight: NYX - Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette I apply beneath my eyebrows, the bridge of my nose and my cheekbones. STEP 9 - Mascara: tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara STEP 10 - Lip Gloss: SOAP & GLORY - Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss

BEST foundation 📣
I’m gonna get right to it. I personally think LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation is better than ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation BUT they’re both good PROS OF TEINT IDOLE It has sunscreen, Double Wear doesn’t. it’s medium to high coverage and it’s buildable, so if you want to go natural, go natural. If you want your makeup to look beat, you can go high coverage too. The foundations is very versatile and you can use it how ever you want it has pump. Double Wear does NOT have a pump. If you want a pump for Double Wear, it’s $10 more. it’s vegan, cruelty and non-comedogenic. it’s transfer free sooooo if you wear white, it wouldn’t transfer or leave a mark like other foundations. it’s water resistant !! the colors were tested on thousands of women and Lancôme chose 95% of the colors that all women across the world have. If I’m not mistaken, they currently have 45 shades and there will be more to come!! CONS TEINT IDOLE it’s US $47 and Double Wear is $43. BUT they don’t charge you tax on the teint idole because it has sunscreen (ONLY IN TEXAS). Double Wear with taxes is around US $46 something. Same price basically and they’re both 1 fl. oz I don’t recommend for sensitive skin
Good skincare for life.
I’ve been obsessed with skincare and makeup since I was a little girl. I made my own masks, I religiously cleansed my face day and night once I started wearing makeup and I used treatment products and moisturizers long before I needed them - that is key! Start a skincare routine as early as you can. If you think your skin is perfect and doesn’t need anything, think about the decades coming! Start now! Here’s the thing- skincare (and makeup) don’t have to be complicated or expensive. I regularly blend drugstore products with high end products. Honestly, many of the drugstore products turn out to be my favorites. Full disclosure, I use a crap ton of skincare products and I change up my routine as needed. I rarely put on a full face of makeup but I do wear some makeup 5-6 days of the week because it makes me feel pulled together and I like how it looks. No apologies necessary for daily make up wearers- do what makes you feel good! No shame in self care, ever! Today felt like a full-face-of-makeup day for some reason, so I had some fun and put it all on. Here are some of my fave products and what I used today: 1. Day old hair with Toni & Guy matte hair powder. 2. Cleanse face with CLARISMA - Malibu Blush Exfoliating Scrub - the enzymes in this cleanser keep my face smooth and glowing. Follow with some quick swipes of pixi - Glow Tonic allow to dry then mix one dropThe Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Matrixyl* 10% + HA , half pumpCLARISMA - Cali Dreaming Cream Daily Moisturizer massage in and appy a dab of Roots Sensitive Eye Cream to eyes. When my face is dry I apply a layer of DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 . 3. Prime my oily skin with smashbox - Photo Finish Foundation Primer Super Light , one little drop each LANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation and SHISEIDO - Perfect Refining Foundation SPF 15 MAYBELLINE - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer for under eyes, e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer (just discovered this!), UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE , tiny bit of bareMinerals - Mineral Veil Setting Powder Broad Spectrum SPF 25 on t-zone, SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler COVERGIRL - Total Tease Waterproof Mascara NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder , Rimmel grey eyeliner, a few pats bh - Illuminating in Ireland 6 Color Highlight Palette Sephora chunky crayon brow enhancer, florence by mills - Limited Edition Get Glossed Lip Gloss Duo . Last, I like to spray a couple spritzes of HERBIVORE - Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Mist to get a satin look. This seems like a lot, but it takes maybe 6-8 minutes. I apply my foundation, concealer, cream blush and eye shadow by hand. Always have, always will. My skin isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty good and I owe it to taking care of my skin for more than 30 years. Unfortunately, I grew up in an era we didn’t talk about sunscreen and sun damage. I baked in the sun and eeeeek, tanning beds. Surprisingly, my skin isn’t horrible but I definitely see the damage. I’m currently working on undoing some of that damage. Morale of the story, take care of your skin and enjoy the process. I do!

Setting Powder + Dry Skin
Laura Mercier I heard alot of hype about this setting powder from Laura Mercier and wanted see to try if it worth the hype. When using this powder I first by doing my eyebrows first for my makeup routine. Next I put concealer around my eyebrows to have a cleaner look. Then I wait for the concealer to dry a little bit, then I put setting powder with using a blending brush so it's easily spread all over my eyelid and brow. I love doing this method because it makes a perfect canvas for my eyelid to add eyeshadow. After applying the eyeshadows and eyeliner, next put foundation and concealer or anything else that is wet I wait for it to dry. Then I use a big puffy brush and add the same powder all over my face not too much because it will cause dryness. Then after applying I will use the same brush but to wipe a little bit off my face like I said it does cause drying. Overall I like using it in a day I have for occasion that I want to look snatched but for me myself an everyday use I don't use too much of this product. Don't forget to like and follow for more😘😘😘 And also follow my Instagram Page at @sweet_citrustea
