My go to favorite Asian beauty brands are purlisse and sister brand, Yensa. Both founded by Jennifer Yen! YENSA is a global Superfood Cosmetic beauty brand that creates high performance cosmetics fused with Superfoods to embrace the diversity in beauty today. High tech formulas, 8 powerful Superfoods and Asian rituals with a strong focus on complexion perfection is what makes YENSA unique. purlisse is a culmination of Asian wisdom and modern philosophy. We partner with the best chemists and research labs in Korea, France, America and beyond to deliver a results-driven skincare collection. Both brands focus on makeup and skincare that promotes having a beauty complexion without harsh chemicals and additives. They focus on leaving your skin healthy with a gorgeous glow. pūrlisse - MATCHA GREEN TEA Antioxidant Priming Moisturizer
This moisturizer is great for all skin types, especially oily and acne prone. It’s an extremely lightweight water based moisturizer and blends into the skin beautifully. pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30
This is one of their newest products that compliment their popular BB cream. Its a good balance of water/oil consistency that didn’t feel heavy on the skin. It’s comparable to the IT Cosmetics illuminating cc cream. The coverage is minimal though, so don’t expect much. Other than that, you are left with a nice lovely glow. 😍 YENSA - PUMPKIN TURMERIC 2-in-1 Radiance Polishing Mask
This oil/sugar based exfoliating mask leaves your skin baby soft and brighter thanks to all the great ingredients. It was gentle on my skin, but I still don’t recommend daily use. YENSA - CBD Superfood Face Oil
this stuff is pricey but the BOMB! It’s a little on the thicker side for an oil, so it’s perfect for dry skin or to use at night. Cbd has many great benefits like calming the skin and controlling oil production. I use this at night myself and wake up with such soft skin and NO breakouts! 👏🏻🥰 I think since these brands really focus on Asian skincare rituals, you don’t get that “heavy” makeup feel like you do with many American Brands. Their focus is on protecting your skin the safest and cleanest way possible where it seems like American brands are more flashy. #cheriepartner #yensa #purlisse

My secret to looking good in photos
I’ve discovered pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30 This looks hella good on camera, it’s super moisturizing, and contains SpF 30. Not necessarily my go-to for every day, bc I’m naturally combo skinned and this gives a “dewey” finish that I can’t abide without ample powder on the Tzone (and I don’t really like to use powder). But OMG I look like I have •perfect• skin in pics. So if you’re going outside, need a little SPF and plan on being in front of a camera, I highly recommend this product. Tell me, what’s your secret to looking good in photos?????

BB Cream.. Blotchy & Bad-Blending?
This product came in my July Ipsy Bag. This Illuminating BB Cream with SPF came with my July Ipsy Bag and is unfortunately my least favourite item in the bag. :( pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30 It surprisingly gave me more coverage than I was expecting but did not blend well at all, using a primer beforehand & not using a primer. I love the fact it has the SPF 30, but maybe that’s the reason it isn’t blending? I wasn’t aware of the price of the cream (until I looked it up right now), and at $35, I will not be purchasing again. I probably wouldn’t buy it if it was cheaper either. My Maybelline Fit Me is still my staple foundation – smooth application and a light feeling with great coverage and price. MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation This product sample came in my $12 Ipsy Subscription, but will not be becoming a future staple in my collection. pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30

Creme De Aurora
This is a real
Creme De Aurora This is a really lightweight and refreshing cream made with niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, centella asiatica, panthenol, and ceramide as key ingredients to help soothe and moisturize. I really like he consistency which is ideal in the summertime for me! Gets absorbed super quickly and leaves my combo skin really soft, nicely hydrated, and soothed 🙌 . Although it states to be ideal for dry skin, I personally find it best for combo to oily because of its lightweight property. I usually use a heavier cream when my skin is drier: been alternating with the Klairs Midnight cream lately 😊 . As far as soothing irritation, I do find this cream to be effective for redness! Though not too much for acne: I feel like my skin benefits better from occasional acid-use like glycolic acid or BHA in this department. Nevertheless, I'll continue using this cream as a nice, lightweight layer of hydration especially now in the summer and if I have any redness ♥ 🦋 Cushion De Lunar 🦋 Loving the formula and natural coverage of this cushion! It's one of the few I've tried that doesn't leave noticeable dry patches on my unprepped combo skin, lol. I'm thankful to have received both shades 21 and 23 to compare! I personally do not see drastic difference in tone between the 2 though. . The coverage is not super high but I actually like the buildable, natural medium coverage. Non-drying which is the most important aspect for me! 23 is still a little bright on my medium beige skin (most Korean cushions are lol) but not too bad. With a floral scent like the rest of the line, SPF 50 and beautiful packaging on top, it's become one of my fave 💕

Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 This treatment claims to correct redness and helps protect skin from environmental stressors. This product also contains SPF 30 for protection against UV light. Targeted concerns include redness, dryness & uneven texture/dullness. It has a green-to-beige color-correcting creamy consistency but it doesn’t spread well onto skin without feeling like my skin is tugging with the friction. But that’s not an issue if a thicker moisturizer or facial oil is used prior. After using a sheet mask with cica, I fell in love cica as an ingredient and when I found out Sephora carry products with this ingredient and needing a new tinted moisturizer, I decided to try this. $52 for 50ml. It isn’t considered expensive since it has SPF, color correct and in my case tinted moisturizer/foundation. Right now there are holiday sets with this product so that’s another great way to try it! I really like this product since it corrects my skin tone and balances out any redness. If my cystic pimples is too inflamed this product can still hide some redness but a little concealer will fix things up! I feel amazing using this product and I can feel confident walking out with this. Highly recommend this product if you haven’t tried it yet! But it doesn’t smooth out that easily on skin so having a good moisturizer on prior is important. Another way of using this product is as a spot treatment. 5 stars for this baby for being many in one!

5-7 full-sized Kbeauty items!
5-7 full-sized Kbeauty items! . . 🏆Chica Y Chico Matt Powder: This soft focus powder claims to blur pores and absorb excess sebum…and it totally does! I LOVE this powder and have been reaching for it more often than my holy grail Innisfree. The mattifying effect has great staying power and lasts throughout the day, keeping my t-zone flawless. I got the pink variation, which adds a soft glow without a white cast. ($12) . . 🏆Chica Y Chico TRE-HY 8.0: Trehalose, hyaluronic acid, ceramide. For combination and dry skin with "extreme hydration effect." I also really enjoyed this gel cream, which has a bright lemony scent. I wore it overnight and my skin was SO dewy in the morning. I’m putting this into my permanent rotation. ($22) . . 😨Chica Y Chico Cool Night Peel Off Mask: 3 kinds of mint, centella asiatica, aloe. This had a flaming minty sensation, as if I had slathered toothpaste on my face. My skin felt smooth after I took the mask off, but I did not enjoy it. Next. ($20) . .💖 Prreti Honey & Berry Lip Sleeping Mask: Acacia honey, vitamin C, berry complex. This lip mask smells heavenly, and the texture is like a honey gloss. While it’s designed for use as an overnight mask, I love the scent so much that I’ve been wearing it as a light gloss in the morning. ($8) . . 💖Karadium Fullmoon Matte Pencil: This is a velvety smooth lip crayon in a bright red-coral shade called Scarlet Moonlight. ($13) . . ✨AHC Premium Cotton Mask: Niacinamide, sea buckthorn extract, licorice root. I haven’t tried this, but my variation had the brightening version, which was personalized for me. ($10)

⭐️Product for Redness ⭐️
⭐️Product for Redness ⭐️
This has been my discovery of the year !!! Seriously Idk how I hadn’t tried this product before . It is the Dr Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 😍😭 ⭐️Function ⭐️ it is a color-correcting treatment that corrects redness and protects skin from UV damage and environmental aggressors. ⭐️Target / Concerns ⭐️ It targets Redness, Dryness, Dullness and uneven texture, it’s safe to use on all skin types . ⭐️Texture / Consistency ⭐️ it’s a light green cream , once rubbed in the skin , it adapts to your skin color. ⭐️My opinion⭐️ This stuff is magic . Sometimes the reason I wear foundation is to cover up my uneven skin tones and redness . Until I discovered this ! Now I can have peace of mind on my makeup less days . This helps my face with redness , it moisturizes it , it makes it look like I got a bit of coverage , it protects me from the sun. It like that all in one item you need to have in your skincare collection . It does make the difference . The first time I wore this I went to lunch with my husband without makeup , just the cream . And he looked at me and said wow your skin looks soo glowy & nice . I’m surprised he even noticed how good it makes my skin look . I would definitely recommend . It retails for $52 at Sephora for the full size & $18 for the mini. But I recommend getting it in a set which can save you money . Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30

DR.JART+ Cicapair Tigergrass CC Treatment SPF 30
WHAT IT IS? A hreen-to-beige color correcting treatment that correct redness and protects skin from UV damage and environmental aggressors. PRODUCT TARGET CONCERNS: For normal, dry, combination and oily. Redness, dryness, dullness and uneven texture. TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY: Green, thick and heavy cream. Very strong, herbal scent. OVERALL THOUGHTS: It’s not something I use on regular, everyday basis. I use it only when I experience redness on my face and I want to minimize it. It’s quite heavy and thick so it’s not really my favorite formula and it also can pill when I use my foundation on top of it. It does do a great job in covering redness but it’s just to difficult to work with it for me to truly enjoy it. WHY I LIKE/DISLIKE IT: My biggest issue is the scent. It’s sooo strong and I honestly can’t stand it. WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? For somebody who is battling redness I would recommend them to try it but I would warn them about the thickness and scent. IS IT WORTH IT? 1.7oz/ 50 ml/ $52 It’s not a product I would personally need but I also don’t have an issue with redness

Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment
Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment
According to the Sephora website, this cult-favorite product by DR. JART is a “green-to-beige color-correcting treatment that corrects redness and protects skin from UV damage and environmental aggressors.” It is recommended for all skin types, with the intention of addressing skincare concerns such as redness, dryness, dullness and uneven texture. True to its Korean roots, this product also delivers a healthy dose of SPF 30. I have been using this product for well over a year now. It is one of my favorites to incorporate into my daily, no-foundation makeup routine. At first, I would apply it directly over my freshly cleansed and toned face like an all-in-one moisturizer/primer/tint, but that didn’t work so well. As well, since it is meant to go from green to beige upon contact with my skin, it would often oxidize and make my face look slightly redder and darker whenever I applied too much. After some experimentation, I realized this product works best for me as a foundation substitute. After cleansing, toning, applying serum, eye cream and a light gel moisturizer, I prime my face with primer. After taking time to let each preceding product sink in, I go in with a pea-sized amount of the Cicapair cream and try to distribute this product as evenly as possible over my face. I like using my fingers to melt this product into my skin. After applying the thinnest layer possible, this product leaves my skin looking much more even and balanced. It noticeably corrects the areas of my face where I tend to get patches of red and I love how it gives me the sheerest coverage; perfect for everyday wear, when you want to look naturally flawless instead of dolled-up with a full face of makeup. I usually follow with dabs of concealer on blemishes that can’t be covered by this cream. Although it is a bit on the pricier side (it retails at $52 on Sephora, but Amazon sells it for $29), one jar goes a long way and I use this almost every day. My only complaint with this product is how messy it can get with the jar.
