Garnier micellar makeup remover water is by far of the most elite makeup removers on the market. Let’s talk facts. •the ingredients won’t dry you out , even the most sensitive skin •affordable (large $9, small $4-6) •versatile (I’ve seen some use at toner because there nothing harsh in it ) •no need for hard running •purchased everywhere •no perfumes or fills. This product is so underrated. There are quiet a few versions of there micellar water 5 to be exact!! This is one is made to target anyone looking for a light non oily remover , who have acne prone skin or sensitive skin.

night night routine
My night time skin care roitine is a ritual. It's my "It's time to decompress, remove the day and transition to a relaxing evening" time. I start by using my micellar water and baby washcloth and remove me eye and facial make. Then, I wash my face with my Cetaphil face wash. After patting my face dry, I pat on some Revolution Bakuchiol Serum. Then I move on to the Revolution Hyaluronic Acid. After that, I get a drop of Revolution Targeted Under Eye Serum with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid and tap it under my eyes. Then I use Revolution Collagen Skin Firming Solution on my face. After that it's Revolution Niacinamide Blemish Refining and Moisturizing Serum. Then, I moisturize some more with CeraVe PM Ultra Moisturizing Lotion and finish off with a sample of Sunday Riley High Dose Rentinoid Serum. After that, I am finally ready to lay down for the evening and go to bed. Final thought, you probably don't need a complicated skin routine at night. and certainly, have a less complicated one on standby for those nights when you just can barely put one foot in front of the other. As my mom used to say....night, night, don't let the bed bugs bite. GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin I love, love, love this stuff! it's gentle on my skin. It takes off the toughest mascara without irritating my eyes. I use it as a pre cleanser before washing my face. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser While I use this every night, I am only using it until I finish the bottle. I am not crazy about the scent and there is a slight sting on my cheeks when I first lather the product on my skin and I am not fond of that feeling. REVOLUTION - 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum REVOLUTION - Targeted Under Eye Serum 5% Caffeine REVOLUTION - 15% Niacinamide Serum REVOLUTION - Skin Firming Solution Stabilised Active Collagen Serum I've enjoyed all of the products I purchased from Revolution, they will all be empties. I am going to try The Ordinary next but the price comparison is about the same. DIFFERIN - Dark Spot Correcting Serum I haven't noticed a bit of difference since using this. how long do you have to you this before you notice your spots lightening?SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum

say NO to makeup wipes
say NO to makeup wipes
we all know how convenient makeup remover wipes are ! i gave into them too, to get off my waterproof proof mascara or a full face of makeup, but the irritation that these cause to the skin is not worth it, and they also are not environmentally friendly. let’s start off with their environmental harm. makeup wipes are filling up the oceans, lining the beaches, clogging up our sewers and are behind the 93% of sewer blockages. now onto the damage that they are doing to our skin. they don’t actually clean your face - if you are only using makeup wipes to “clean” your face, you might as well sleep in your makeup! makeup wipes leave behind oil and grime that will lead to clogged pores, breakouts and irritation. makeup wipes do not fully breakdown your makeup like a cleanser and water do with a skincare routine. they leave your skin red and irritated - the chemicals in wipes are not that gentle at all, giving them another aspect of them being harsh on the skin. makeup wipes contain strong and drying ingredients, such as alcohol, which just strips your skin of its natural oils and alters your skins pH balance. makeup wipes are also not just harsh with their ingredients, but also how aggressive you have to wipe your face to be able to get most of the makeup off. whenever I would use makeup wipes to get my makeup off, I always noticed that my skin felt hot, red, inflamed and really really dry! but I never looked too much past that. some other products to use to get makeup off would be GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skinor any other micellar water! or Neutrogena - Makeup Remover Melting Balm if you choose to use other products other than makeup wipes for removing your makeup, remember to still do your full skincare routine !!

My Honest Review
My Honest Review
Aveeno - Daily Cleansing Exfoliating Pads For Face Why I bought this product a couple of months ago because I was looking for a gentle exfoliating product to use a couple times per week for sensitive skin. Description The product’s description stated that it would even my skin tone and texture. The product includes individual cleansing pads pre-moistened with acne medication with 1 side being smooth to lift away dirt and the other being textured in order to gently exfoliate. I have sensitive skin so I took into account that it was hypoallergenic, gentle enough for everyday use, and for sensitive skin. My Honest Review Cons: Unfortunately, after trying this product on multiple occasions it was not gentle on my skin and was overly drying, which resulted in a rash. It does have a fragrance listed in the ingredients list and I have since learned that people with sensitive skin should try to avoid. Pros:The individual premoistened pads make the process of cleaning your face super easy and quick by combining multiple steps. Conclusion I do not recommend this product. It might work better for you, but make sure you do a patch test first. ❤️

Do not use this!!!
Do not use this!!!
I highly suggest that you do not try this product if you have sensitive/reactive skin. Upon the first cleanse, my face looked like I just took it out of boiling water. It was red, swollen and even my moisturizer couldn't save it. I was curious to try a more "clean and natural" face wash and have always heard great things about Himalaya, so I figured I'd give this a shot. If you look at the ingredients, there is a high concentration of essential oils which I now know cause insane irritation (thank you Hyram). Currently in the process of repairing my skin barrier but take this as a cautionary tale.

My Thoughts on Gentle Skin Cleanser
My Thoughts on Gentle Skin Cleanser
• Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser • I been using the cleanser since late March. I was looking for something that wasn’t going to damage my skin because I’ve damaged it way too much in the past. • I would recommend getting the smaller sized containers because the 8 oz bottle lasted until about now and they are cheap compared to the largest size. • Ever since I purchased the product I’ve noticed a little difference in how my appearance looks. My acne is not as bad on my forehead, my cheeks, and chin. However it doesn’t improve blackhead problems or enlarged pores, that continued to stay the same. • I would like to mention that formula is very basic, so it is not harsh for people with sensitive skin. It personally felt soft on my skin like a watery gel. I will continue to use it until I do more research products more suited for my face. **I do not think that the product would be best for everyone’s face unfortunately** ~This is just the beginning of my skincare journey 😁

❌ Neutrogena’s Pink Grapefruit Line ❌

Oof this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I strongly disliked Neutrogena’s Pink Grapefruit Acne line. I have dry skin that is also acne prone so I bought both the cleanser and daily lotion with spf in it. Oh my god did my skin break out over the next couple days. I brushed it aside hoping it was just my skin “purging” but the intense acne continued for about a month. I found my skin to be even drier than before, flaky even. I tried everything, reducing the amount of times I washed my face, using another more hydrating lotion, you name it I tried it. After that month, I decided to stop using the products all together and within a week my skin had far less acne and was no longer flaky. Even my best friend said her skin reacted poorly to the products. Overall, if you have dry or combination skin I would be wary of using the products on a regular basis. Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser Let me know if you too experienced these side effects.
