A life saver for my acne-prone guys & gals 🙌

Disclaimer; I have combination, more oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin. What may work for me may not work for you! So if you haven’t heard of Skinceuticals yet, their a cosmeceuticals brand that have been raved in about for their serums ESPECIALLY their SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum(Which I am dying to try, once my wallet allows 😅). Because a lot of this brands products are pretty pricey I was super hesitant to purchase this, but I gotta admit that she’s actually worth it. During the time I was trialing this out, my skin was really suffering from congestion from some of the products I was trialing PLUS hormonal acne decided to appear too. Even though they say it is gentle enough to use everyday, I would highly suggest only using this at most once every other day at night (especially for my gals with sensitive skin because it could be try easily irritate or sensitive your skin). I also didn’t use any other actives in my routine so that I could really see how the serum did on my skin. 5 out of 5 stars from me ✨ SKINCEUTICALS - Blemish + Age Defense

HELPPPPPPP
The first two pictures are what my skin looks like now😭 the last two pictures were of my skin before I started using actives in my skin care. I know my skin wasn’t bad, but I had a lot of texture I wanted to get rid of and I decided to incorporate Differin and AHAs/BHAs in my skin care and then this happened! Please help. I stopped using differin for a few days because my skin was getting unbelievably bad and instead have been using the SKINCEUTICALS - Blemish + Age Defensein its place. I stopped using an SA cleanser and instead am using the YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanserand it feels great on my skin, my skin isn’t dry at all after. I top my skin ceuticals off with THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Night Treatment and a drop of The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-SqualaneMaybe I was doing too much in the beginning by using Differin, an SA cleanser, and the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ?? The reason why I’m giving it one star is because this is the second time I’ve used it and both times my face broke out the next day! Maybe this is this just part of the purge but my skin has NEVER been this bad before😭 I’m trying to repair the texture damage this break out has caused and since switching to more gentle products my skin has calmed down a bit.

Skin/Product Update!
Hey hey everyone! So I wanted to update everyone on my current regemin and my current skin status. I have some discoloration and a few little bumps/breakouts on my upper cheeks and one on my forehead. I am using the following products to address these issues (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ALL HAVE USED ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS AND YOUR PERSONAL REVIEWS ON THEM!) SKINCEUTICALS - Simply Clean Gel I really love this cleanser. It is gentle for my sensitive skin and does well with my combo skin as it is not over drying and yet doesn’t leave my face oily! dermalogica - Antioxidant HydraMist I just started using this as a toner last night and this morning and it smells nice and feels cool and refreshing when sprayed. I am excited to see the results over the next few weeks of this product. SKINCEUTICALS - Phloretin Cf This vitamin C serum seems to be helping with my discoloration and even with my acne. I feel like my skin looks more youthful and healthier since using this product. SKINCEUTICALS - Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum This is a newly added serum to my regimen and it seems to be helping fade some discoloration. I have been very proactive about wearing a 50+ SPF with this as it is directed you do so to prevent more or more intense discoloration. I’m excited to see how it will transform my skin in the next few weeks. SKINCEUTICALS - Blemish + Age Defense This stuff has put a halt to my out of control acne issue. I use to get cystic acne and bumps all along my cheeks, chin, and forehead. This stuff has significantly improved my complexion. SKINCEUTICALS - Phyto Corrective Gel Hydrating Botanical Gel This product has helped my sensitive skin so much. It is moisturizing, calming and helps lighten the red marks that acne can leave behind. SKINCEUTICALS - Emollience So I have combo skin and recently is has been fairly dry. I have been using this moisturizer and it has significantly helped my skin to look more dewy and glowy! Sometimes with having combo skin, I feel like this can be a little too rich for me on certain days. I am in search of another great go to moisturizer that isn’t as rich to alternate with. SKINCEUTICALS - Physical Fusion Uv Defense SPF 50 Okay this is my FAVORITE lightly tinted sunscreen! A little bit goes a long way. It honestly has made me more confident in not wearing make up. I just put a thin layer of this on in the AM and every 2 hours throughout the day and it is transforming my skin. It evens out my skin tone and isn’t over drying like a lot of sunscreens I have tried. That is my AM routine! Stick around for my PM routine, soon to follow! Also, please review these products as I would like to hear some feedback on what others think about these products! Thanks for reading and following along! 💕

🍊 VIT C BABY 🍊
If you’re thinking about trying it, DO IT. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum has so many benefits all in one bottle! “A patented daytime vitamin C serum that delivers advanced environmental protection and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness, and brightens skin’s complexion. Now clinically proven to reduce combined oxidative damage from free radicals generated by UV, Ozone, and Diesel Exhaust by up to 41%.“ BENEFITS: Antioxident protective benefits Visible anti-aging benefits, such as the improvement of the appearance of lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness, and brightens skin’s complexion Neutralizes free radicals on the upper layer of the skin to help prevent the impact of ozone damage to skin Once absorbed, this vitamin C serum remains effective for a minimum of 72 hours Paraben-free and ideal for normal, dry, and sensitive skin types OPINION: This serum contains a powerful combination of antioxidants that protects your skin from damage. The product is a oily texture and SMELLS LIKE BACON. Yes, I said it.... after opening a new bottle, the smell seems to go away after 2-3 weeks because the product oxidizes. It leaves a sheer glowy look on my skin after application. The product also turns into a deeper orange the longer you have the bottle. I go through a bottle every 3 months. It is pricey but I believe the benefits are totally worth it. Thank you SkinCeuticals for this amazing product!

The ORDINARY Vitamin C & Better OPTIONS !
Okay so I did a post about Vitamin C earlier and the two main different types use mainly in vitamin c serums & other products (L-Ascorbic Acid & Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate). These are the most used & come in a range of different percentages (you need a minimum of 8% to be effective) Serums absorbs better than a vitamin c toner, moisturizer or any other concoction that comes with skincare. When using Vitamin C it’s best used during the day, UNLESS your product has retinol (which I usually don’t recommend due to irritation). Okay with that recap out the way ... The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% & The Ordinary - Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution are product versions of vitamin C I’d NEVER EVER RECOMMEND! Why? When buying Vitamin C, it’s potent when just by itself which makes it a sure fire product that’ll cause irritation (mostly if your not used to it). There is a checklist when it comes to vitamin C & how it should be made: Dark packaging: vitamin C is not that stable ! It’s should be in tight, dark PUMP OR SERUM JAR Ingredients matter! : vitamin C mixed with other items make it more beneficial . -With hyaluronic acid : great for dry skin -With Vitamin E: great for anti aging -With Ferulic Acid: great for extending the life of vitamin C Best serums to look into I’d never in my life spend $166 on a serum so SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serumwhile never touch my face unless I get it in a super sale. Yet these formulation is the staple for all vitamin C serums for a reason. Here’s some I recommend DR. BRONNER'S - Vitamin C Serum with Ferulic Acid this serum is an EXACT DUPE FOR SKINCEAUTICALS .. this is ascorbic acid (be careful if you have sensitive skin). It’s $14.99 Seoul Ceuticals - 20% Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my current personal fave K-Beauty I use everyday. It has Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate which is my go to since I use a lot of serums and to avoid sensitive skin. Its $16.99 Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum this was my favorite for a year because it’s really natural type ingredients. It has all the checklist points plus Konjac Root which is amazing for having tons of vitamins. Only reason I stopped buying was its $33.

I didn’t know how much I neede
I didn’t know how much I needed this product in my life until I got it 😅 I have pretty clear skin as it is, but if I get a hormonal break out then it scars and says there forever. I was looking for something to work with my AHA/BHA serums to fix this. Since using this, I’ve breakouts to heal much quicker, and previous scars are slowly starting to disappear. It’s a light and fluffy cream that can be either used on its own or it can be mixed with another serum, oil and even a moisturizer. I would for sure recommend this product because of it proved effectiveness and the price is quite reasonable 😍PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster

This product is amazing. My face is changing so fast from this that I’m almost intrigued to constantly touch it. I get bad hormonal acne and this is helping recovery so much for texture. I love it. It has a glass dropper and really nice packaging. This also mixes very easily with your moisturizer or serums! #paulaschoice #skincare #skin

My Fav All in One Serum
My Fav All in One Serum
Krave - Great Barrier Relief When I first ordered this product, I was suuuuper unsure how my oily skin would react to it; I’ve been using oils for awhile now but always ones that are more suited to acne prone skin (rosehip, hemp seed, etc), so this one was a little scary! To my surprise, it’s one of the most beautiful and light oil-based serums I’ve EVER used. It really does have everything your skin could possibly need, especially if your skin barrier is compromised. This stuff absolutely saved my skin when I went a little too crazy with exfoliating (oops😂) and using only this product, my skin was back to normal after a day. I can even wear this in the morning, although I do prefer a slight sheen to my skin even tho I’m oily, but it’s perfect as a stand alone moisturizer or to be used under a heavy moisturizer at night time. It really is like you’re giving your skin a big hug!! It does all the things and more, and I will absolutely continue to buy this, once it’s back in stock 😭

A Two Ingredient Serum
A Two Ingredient Serum
Two ingredients?? Yeah I’m a little baffled myself. I was browsing around on YesStyle just looking at Kbeauty, ya know as one does. And I came across this serum which caught my attention. 🌿The serum was made of 67% Tea Tree Leaf Water and 19.5% Centella Asiática leaf water. Ok so 86.5% of the serum was just two ingredients, so the formula contained just a few other things. Such as: sodium hyaluronate and a few other odd extracts which we don’t usually see in skincare like broccoli and cabbage extract. 🥬🥦 So my point proven. It’s not just two ingredients. Don’t let the marketing get ya guys!! However, I was already too intrigued. The more I read into the product the more I wanted to try it. Especially since I’ve been struggling with my random acne breakouts and redness due to trying so many different things. I needed to give my skin a break from all things random and harsh. I found a tiny sample size and ordered it along with another serum from the brand. A week in and I’m enjoying the results. But it’s still too early for a final review. I’ll update you guys when I finish the tiny sample. What random KBeauty brands have won you guys over with the natural ingredients and brilliant marketing?? As always, if you guys have any recommendations for reviews just throw me a message on my Instagram! Thanks Loves!!

wish trend VITAMIN C 21.5% SER
wish trend VITAMIN C 21.5% SERUM AND MAXIMIZING CREAM These two are currently my skin's bestfriend. I have made a lot of research and read lots of reviews online about it then I decided to give in so now I know why this is a HG for others. Since it's my first time to try vitamin c on my skin and with this high concentration so I introduced it slowly on my skin like twice a week using only 2 drops. Based on the reviews I have read that it might sting a little but I did not feel anything when I first applied it (I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing) it only stings on the place where I have a break out. It is a bit sticky but also away after it has been absorbed by the skin. No bothering smell as well. I am inlove with the result on my skin that's why I started using it everyday for a month now and I can't seem not to love it. This helped lighten my pimple marks without being so abrasive. The uneven red patches are no longer that visible and my face never felt this smooth and glowy. I can now go out for a grocery shopping with only a sunscreen and a tinted moisturizer because my face doesn't need a lot of concealing. I wish I have taken a before pic but too bad I didn't. Please bear in mind that I am also using some other products together with this serum and cream but I strongly believe that these are the major contributors why my skin looks so healthy now and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely repurchase and stick to this wishtrend vitamin c serum but will skip the cream next time as I believe it will work just fine without it.

LA ROCHE-POSAY RETINOL B3 serum
This is my holly grail! You don’t need a lot a little truly goes a long way! By the third day I could see the benefits of using this serum. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ my skin has been so vibrant and had no breakouts yet! I definitely give this proudcut a 5 star! What I have noticed Immediately my face looked more fresh My faint smile line was becoming more faint I haven’t had a breakout “yet” and I tend to get one “under the skin” pimple but I haven’t since this serum !! On the plus side , They are also a partner brand of dermatologists! This makes me also feel more comfortable with what I’m using on my face and it isn’t another product slapping a claim that isn’t true✨ I say definitely try it out yourself cause no matter the review we all have our own unique skin 🖤
