Quick & Easy Natural Glowing Skin Makeup
BecomingKyra
Summer is coming for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, and you’ll likely want to spend it looking like a natural glowing goddess. Fortunately, you can achieve this look quickly and easily with just a couple of drugstore products.
Complexion: 👸🏻
I used the discontinued Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous foundation in shade 810 Classic Ivory. It’s medium-coverage, natural finish, lasts well and has a touch of dew that makes dry skin practically sing.
I concealed using REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Infinite XL Concealer
On top of the fresh foundation, I applied some nude by nature - Touch of Glow Highlighter Stick
Apply some of the nude by nature - Touch of Glow Highlighter Stick
Lightly set the face with translucent powder, focusing on the under eyes, and lightly disputing over the cheeks and forehead. The less, the better, so you don’t remove too much dew!
I strengthened my bronzer slightly with the Revlon Sculpt & Highlight Contour Kit, using the bronzer shade to set and deepen the bronzer on my cheeks, and define my jaw.
Finally, I used a touch of Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette
Pro Tip for Enhanced Natural Glow: ✨
You can add an extra dewy glow to your face without sacrificing powder and staying power, by lightly dragging your cheekbone highlighter down to the corner of your mouth.
This simple addition pulls the highlighter across the apples of your cheeks to create a natural glistening effect that simulates dewy skin!
In my look, I used some “Ringlight” from the MORPHE - The James Charles PalettePick up some of the shimmery bronzer and swipe it over the entire eyelid, blending it out slightly. This is a quick way to add definition without spending a lot of time on your look.
Take a touch of black or dark brown eyeshadow on a flat eyeliner brush and use it to fill in the outer half of the upper lash line. This adds definition to your eyes and makes the lashes appear thicker, without becoming heavy.
Finish off with a touch of your favourite mascara, Mine was MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

I love using this mascara. It doesn’t dry out at all. I like using it before put my lashes on. It dries pretty fast and I love that it doesn’t smear if you mistakenly touch it while completing your face. MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

My updated skincare routine! 🧖🏻♀️🕊
FEBRUARY 2021
Here’s my updated skincare routine; good for both daytime and nighttime!
Left photo - Back in november 2020
Right photo - Taken today February 15th 2021
The products I use : (in order)
I make sure my hands have been washed - beforehand! (no pun intended 🥰)
1) Exfoliate (1-2x a week)
HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub
2) Cleanser (daily; day and night)
Benzagel - Acne Wash
My doctor recommended it to me to wash away any blackheads, pimples, acne, etc...
3) Serum (day and night)
#HUDA BEAUTY - Thirst Trap Juice Serum[products]#[FiveStars]
4) Oil (day and night)
HUDA BEAUTY - Get Even Rose Face Oil Tip : To prevent fine lines and “wrinkles”, I began incorporating a lymphatic massage every morning to help with circulation and my facial features! I followed the instructions of Huda’s instagram (@hudabeauty or @wishfulskin) which I highly recommend to try if you’d like to help with the overall look of your skin! 💆🏻♀️💗
5) Moisturizer
HUDA BEAUTY - Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer
6) Sunscreen (daytime only!)
LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Lotion SPF 60
7) Eyebrows (daytime only!)
MORPHE - The James Charles Palette in the shade “benny” with one of Jeffree Star’s brushes (a collaboration with Morphe!) 👏🏻💕
7.1) Eyebrows (daytime only - if I have time too!)
#Just For Men - Mustache & Beard : M-55 - Real Black/ Ultra Noir[products]#[FiveStars]
Like indicated up here, before applying James’s products, in the shade "benny", I sometimes will give myself an eyebrow tinting treatment (if that’s how you call it 🥲) and it makes a BIG difference - especially for someone like whose eyebrow hairs are so damn pale... 🥺✨
Anywhooooo - 🌹☺️🌹
That’s all for now, let me know what you think I could improve and what I could do to help with - ☺️👏🏻💗
Take care ✨

90s Makeup Trend: Blue Eyes and Nude Lips
So, we’re all back in the 90s as far as fashion trends are concerned. Thankfully, we’re keeping this decade’s eyebrows!
I decided to try out two 90s inspired makeup looks with different shades of blue from the MORPHE - The James Charles Palette .
My light look was created using the shade “Hello” all over the lid and crease, and running a bit of “Playgroung” on my lower lash line, and onto the outer half of my upper lash line. This added a little definition and brightness to the pale blue base. The light shimmery blue all over the eye and crease felt super retro and fun! ❄️🧚🏻👗
My dark look was created using the shade "Brother" all over the lid and blended into the crease, and "A capella" tapped onto the centre of the eyelid. This rich, dark version of the 90s blue eyeshadow trend felt much more modern and striking. 🧵🌊🌏
These looks are great for brown eyes - as you can see - but there are really no rules!
You could achieve a toned down version of this look by lining your eyes with blue shades and adding lashings of mascara! Or pairing a navy blue or turquoise waterline with a bronze or copper upper lid!
Don't be afraid of the blue! 2020 is the time to realise your colourful makeup dreams.
Complexion Details 👸🏻
If you were interested in my complexion products, I used the ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in the shade 1C0 Shell, the REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer in the shade C1, the Revlon Sculpt + Highlight Contour Kit in Light/Medium, and a touch of Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette shade Yara to warm up the apples of my cheeks slightly.
Lip Details 💄💋
I did a DIY lip colour to get the 90s nude look. I put some L.A. Girl - L.A. Girl Luxury Creme Lipstick in the shade Teddy around the edges of my lips, and patted some Covergirl Colorliscious Lipstick in the shade 230 in the centre (I think this line is discontinued!)
Skin Details:
I have fairly dry and fairly sensitive skin. I am very fair, too. I live in Brisbane, so the weather is getting more humid by the day, and is generally very sunny.

Trying a new (to me) makeup product✨
On friday night I got bored and decided to do my face. This is what I came up with. What was supposed to be a very natural beat turned into a VERY full glam beat very quickly.
The star of the show was the Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette (vol. 1) that I recently got from their flash sale and sis made some points. I have never really been into blush (and I’m pretty sure I put too much on), but I really like how it worked with my bronzer to warm up my face.
The other products on my face are:
EYEBROWS:
- NYX - Tame & Frame Brow Pomade in “Espresso”
- L'ORÉAL - Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer in “415 Honey”
EYES:
- ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Jackie Aina Eyeshadow Palette
- bh cosmetics loose foil pigment and glitter glue
- lashes from aliexpress
BASE:
- MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundationin “340 Cappuccino and 356 Warm Coconut”
- e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealerin “Deep Olive” (highlight)
- Juvia's PLACE - Juvia’s PLACE Shade Sticksin “Tunisia” (contour)
- REVOLUTION - MAKEUP REVOLUTION Loose Baking Powderin “Banana Deep” (to set highlight)
- MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powderin “355” (to set the rest of my face)
- MORPHE - Glamabronze Face & Body Bronzerin “Trailblazer”

My Go-To Pallet gives you a Kim K-worthy contour
Who doesn't enjoy convenience? We're human. We love convenience in all shapes and sizes. Why do you think delivery apps are skyrocketing in popularity? While I love a good meal delivered to my front door, I can also appreciate an all-in-one makeup pallet.
My Go-To All-In-One Face Pallet:
The Kevyn Aucoin Art of Sculpting + Defining pallet is my #1 choice for a natural everyday pallet that gets the job done fast. I find myself reaching for this pallet when I know I don't have much time to spend on my day's makeup. The pallet retails for $59.
Is It Worth It?
For me, the creme de la creme of face pallets is the 'The Contour Book Volume II' by Keyin Aucoin. As a longtime fan of his Sculpting Powder, which gives you a Kim K-worthy contour, this pallet comes with my beloved chiseling power and a cream version, highlighters, and four eyeshadows. Altogether, you get a total of eight pans. Naturally, the face products are larger than the eyeshadows.
I love almost everything in this pallet. I'm personally not the biggest eyeshadow person, so I use the shadows as an inner corner highlight instead! Plus, the darker eyeshadow shade can double as a brow powder for me. It comes with a huge mirror, too, making great for travel or minor touch-ups. There's also a handy guide that teaches you how to sculpt your cheekbones out and use the eyeshadows to naturally shape and define the eyes.
Tip:
I love layering the Candlelight Cream and Candlelight Powder. The subtle shimmer in the powder really makes the cream highlight pop. Plus, it makes it last longer!
Final Thoughts:
I love this pallet, and I ultimately think it's worth it. If not for anything else, I continue to buy this pallet for the Sculpting Powder alone. It's seriously THE BEST contour powder I've ever used.

Bronzer VS Blush | 🦋ABG makeup look🦋
To get things started, we have to keep the differences between bronzer and blush in mind: "Bronzer is basically blush, but blush is not bronzer." Blush should be used to add warmth to the cheeks, while bronzer is used specifically to make you look tan.
In a nutshell, blush is used to add a flush of color to the cheeks, while bronzer is intended to make the skin look sun-kissed or tan.✨ As a result, blush tends to come in variations of pink (sometimes with peach or plum undertones), where bronzer is typically brown or gold in color.
🦋 How they applied
Blush is made to be applied directly to the apples of the cheeks and cheekbones.
Bronzer can be applied both to the cheekbones and brow, jawline, and other contours of the face and décolletage.
🦋 Mood and Occasion
If you’re going for a natural look, bronzer can add a hint of color and definition. Bronzer is perfect for casual weekend events, as well as more made-up evening looks, particularly those that include contouring.
Blush can add a touch of softer, flushed color and is also great for daywear, but use it sparingly—blushes are often very pigmented and can go on heavy if you're not careful. Whichever you choose, keep in mind that less is more, and be sure to keep the color (whether pink or bronze) within range of your natural skin tone.
Now that we’ve gone over the difference between bronzer and blush, hopefully you won’t be staring at your makeup bag in confusion any longer about which to wear.
So for today’s ABG makeup look, I applied bronzer to make my chin look more strong and the face look slimmer.
🦋 Product details: PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer
Best-selling bronzers in the mass market!
I’ve bought this product with $14.95, it comes in an adorable tropical-looking compact complete with palm trees and bright colors on it. As soon as you open the top, you can catch a whiff of the buttery goodness going on in there. It smells like Butter Cookies or close to that. The product pan is beautiful and is shaped like sea waves.
🦋 Color:
Oohhh!!! The color!!! This bronzer has the perfect bronze-y gold shade with peach undertones for adding the correct amount of warmth and glow to the face. This is certainly not a contouring powder, but the color is best suited for adding some glow and warmth to the skin on a daily basis.
🦋 Texture:
It feels very silky and buttery to the touch, like almost creamy! It also contains soft-focus pigments and ultra-refined pearl that gives a glow that looks so beautiful. This bronzer by no means contains chunky shimmer or glitter, has the correct amount of finely-milled shiny powder with a bronze-y glow.
🦋 Longevity:
The bronzer does have considerable longevity and does stay on the face for about 6-7 hours which is incredible! I do set my face with a setting spray or a face mist and it does increase the longevity of this product.
Anyway, ABG makeup look check!!

SUMMER 2020 RED LIP MAKEUP LOOK
Hey fam, here's a look that I never get sick of, especially for summer. I actually wore this exact look for my wedding last week 💍 It was perfect for the short ceremony at the city hall and formal enough for a nice dinner after. IMO you can never go wrong with simple eye makeup and a classic cool toner red lip!
Here are the products I used:
wet n wild - Photofocus Liquid Matte Foundation This is such a great affordable foundation that just works. I don't find it's very high coverage but that's exactly what I prefer.
e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush This makeup brush makes putting on foundation SO fast. It's actually converted me from makeup sponges back to brushes!
URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion Always makes eyeshadow last so much longer!
NARS - Blush/Bronzer Duo I actually don't tend to use this as bronzer, but rather as eyeshadow. It's the perfectly slightly warm brown for a summery wash of colour over the eyelids.
L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara This is the most impressed I've been with a Western drugstore mascara for a while! However I do find it does flake a little towards the end of the day.
MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil I like how thin this is, again it makes everything so quick and easy for a great brow.
benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel It took me a while to learn how to use this for my brows! It's a great brow gel but honestly overpriced for what it is.
MAC - Ruby Woo Lip Duo My favourite red lip, ever. My lipstick version is actually from the limited edition Collab that Rihanna did with MAC.
the Balm cosmetics - Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer Highlighter i have had this for so long, you can see it's well loved! Its my favourite highlighter, perfect for my skin tone.

Best eyebrow and eyelash gel for CAD $2.99.
I started using this product about 4 years ago and still use it today. I started using it for my eyelashes to separate and as a base before applying mascara. I then started using it to set my eyebrows. It can be used in two ways:
1) use it after filling in your eyebrows OR
2) use it after filling in your eyebrows, apply powder to set your eyebrows and then using this gel.
This product is the best, it does not dry out and does not get clumpy. I would honestly recommend this product 100%. You cannot go wrong by spending $2.99 on this product. It can be used on any skin tone and on any skin colour. The gel can be used to separate lashes and you do not have to use mascara. It really helps to lengthen the lashes and make the mascara process a lot easier.
As you can see in my picture, my eyelashes are separated and look long and healthy, my eyebrows are set as well. My eyebrows had been done for 8 hours and did not move, as seen in the last picture.
