Get rid of dry patches instantly -Peeling gels

Beautycation_by_shruti
Do you get large or small dry flakey patches because of either colder weather or retinoids or acne treatments? I do get these dry flakey patches all the time with my retinoid use and sometimes when the air gets dry around me. But that isn't the main concern for me, these dry patches come in my way of getting a good flawless foundation routine. When I have an event or meeting to attend and if I have these dry patches it's hard for me to moisturize them and keep them moisturized and look good under my makeup. There was only one solution to such dry fkakey skin, that is Exfoliation!! I figured the quick exfoliating masks and solutions (chemical exfoliation) work but they did not get rid of those dry patches completely. So I tried these peeling gels before my morning shower and vola!! They instantly removed my dry patches and made my skin super soft and smooth for a flawless makeup application!! 😍❤️ I love using these both, @wishful Yo Glow enzyme scrub HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub
@saturdayskin Rub-A-Dub Refining peel gel SATURDAY SKIN - Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel
✨ These both are refining physical exfoliators that work by creating white balled up action and pills when you rub it gently on your skin. They generally have chemical exfoliants as well like Papaya and pineapple enzymes as well as physical exfoliators. The lightweight, milky texture gently buffs away dead skin cells and impurities for immediate results that also makes the perfect canvas for seamless makeup application. You start off with a watery gel like this, which you spread over your face then you see the product balling up on your face creating this weird peeled skin texture. ✨But have you Wondered what is it exactly?? Is it your skin falling off or peeling that way? Is it just the product that's balling up and not exfoliate skin well? or is it just a gimmick?? The Answer is: peeling gels are actually a very gentle physical scrub – the scrubbing bits are the soft, bunched up fibres, which are usually made of bunched up acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer* (sometimes listed as “carbomer” in the ingredients list). Some gels also contain a lot of cellulose, which adds to the bunching effect (this is usually in the opaque ones) ☑️😍Conclusion: Peeling gels aren’t chemical exfoliants – they’re gentle physical exfoliants (scrubs). The fibres form from ingredients that are in the gel to begin with, balling up from the rubbing motion with some help from oils on your skin. There will be a small amount of dead skin in there too. I am a fan of Peeling gels, they definitely help me a lot with instant exfoliation without being crazy abrasive on my skin. This is the evidence I like physical exfoliants as much as I love chemical ones. 😊❤️ Have you used Peeling gels? Do you like them? Share your thoughts ❤️

Saturday Skin Favs
Love all the three products from Saturday skin. It’s great that the product is instagrammable, but Saturday skin is more than just a pretty face... it works great and delivers the result it promises. WIDE AWAKE BRIGHTENING EYE CREAM As far as eye creams go, this is one of the best I’ve used. The texture is more of a dense souffle-like gel than a cream. It hydrates and strengthens the delicate skin around the eyes, helping to reduce puffiness and dark circles. RUB-A-DUB REFINING PEEL GEL This is an exfoliator with a difference… Simply massage the gel into your face as you rub, the formula picks up the impurities and dead skin that clogs pores, causing it to visibly peel off in tiny balls. The result is super-smooth, exfoliated skin, but without the sting that acids and scrubs have. PORE CLARIFYING TONER This toner helps to address the look of skin tone and texture. It has witch hazel, tea tree oil, and red clover. The blend helps create the appearance of a smooth, pore-less complexion.

Battle of the enzyme scrubs!
We know physical exfoliants aren’t the best thing for your skin. But, some days you just want a little more scrub. I get some funky flakey areas on my face and once in awhile I like a scrub. Rather than using something with large exfoliants in it, I have been choosing enzyme scrubs. These scrubs use mostly fruit acids to gently get rid of dead skin, but they also contain physical scrubbers as well! The 2 that I’m comparing today are the Wishful HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub ($39USD for 100ml at Sephora - Wishful is part of Huda Beauty) and Sun + Moon Sunny Daze Gel Enzyme Scrub ($18.99USD for 151ml at Ulta) Price - Obviously, the Sun + Moon is a better overall value. You get more product for less money. Scent - the both smell like a pina colada due to the pineapple and papaya extracts - yet both contain added fragrance. Ingredients - the ingredient list for the Wishful scrub is much longer as it contains waaaay more natural ingredients, extracts, and oils. The Sun + Moon contains walnut shell as its exfoliant and the Wishful has a much more gentle cellulose as its physical exfoliant. Results - both give a good scrub. If you are acne prone or have sensitive skin, the Sun + Moon scrub might remind your skin too much of good old apricot scrub and be irritating as it has larger bits of walnut. Texture - the 2nd pic here shows the texture of both. The Sun + Moon is a cool gel with bits of walnut. It feels like someone mixed aloe gel and apricot scrub. It’s a little odd. The Wishful scrub feels like baking soda toothpaste. That’s the only way I can describe it. Overall - I think overall I would purchase the Wishful scrub. It’s just a more natural, more gentle product. It leaves my skin nice and shiny and smooth and my pores look smaller/cleaner when I use it. My skin never gets red or irritated from it. When I use it I massage it on and leave it for a minute before washing off. If you have drier skin you will need to moisturize afterward. Do you ever use an enzyme scrub?

ALL ABOUT Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA)
ALL ABOUT Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA)
When on your skincare journey you will come across Alpha Hydroxy (AHA) acids. These acids if used right in your skincare routine you will see great benefits from them in your skin. Here we are going to talk about What AHA’s are, The benefits of AHA’s and how to use them. 🎀ITS IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW A PRODUCTS WORKS OR DOESN’T WORK FOR ONE MAY OR NOT WORK FOR ANOTHER. SKIN IS UNIQUE 🎀 🌼What Is Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA’s)🌼 AHA’s are acids from plant( fruits) and animals (milk) used in skincare products. There are different types of AHA’s here are a few : Glycolic Acid comes from sugar cane 🎀my fav🎀 Lactic Acid comes from lactose Citric Acid comes from citrus fruit ( oranges, lemon etc) 🎀my fav 🎀 Hydroxycaproic Acid comes from royal jelly ( honey bee secretions) 🌸Before using AHA’s it’s important to know your skin type and what skin concerns you’re targeting🌸 🌺The Benefits Of AHA’s 🌺 AHA’s are exfoliators. They remove dead skin and help skin cell turn over. AHA’s also help with collagen production and dark spots. AHA’s reduces breakouts, smooths fine lines and wrinkles, brightens complexion and helps product absorb better. 🌹How To Use AHA’s🌹 AHA’s are in face wash, serums, toners, mask etc. I suggest slowly introducing AHA’s into your routine. 1 product like a face wash or serum. See how your skin reacts and adjust accordingly. Too much use of acid in skin routine isn’t good because you can over exfoliate the skin which can lead to irritation and breakouts. Also when using AHA’s it’s important to always moisturize. 🌻I ALWAYS RECOMMEND DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH 🌻 MY FAVORITE AHA PRODUCTS Nolaskinsentials - Glycolic Foam Cleanser DERMA•E - Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel Any questions about AHA’s comment below and good luck with your skincare journey ❤️ #cheriecreator

neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub
neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub
key ingredients: citric acid - citric acid is effective for sloughing off dead skin cells and speeding new cell turnover. this ingredient can promote new skin growth that can alleviate the appearance of acne scars, minor wrinkles, uneven skin tone/texture, hyperpigmentation, and age spots. salicylic acid - salicylic acid is proven to be an effective skin care ingredient because of the way it penetrates into the skin and dissolves any debris inside your pores. it’s also naturally derived from willow bark which is known to heal and soothe. this acid can also help with any inflammation and redness of a blemish. what it claims to do: neutrogena’s deep clean gentle scrub claims to gently exfoliate the skin with microbeads. the beta hydroxy helps to clean deep into the pores for soft and smooth skin. neutrogena’s description of this product claims that, “Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Scrub is the daily cleansing scrub with beta hydroxy proven to clean deep down into your pores, yet is gentle enough to use every day. Skin looks and feels soft and smooth after just one use.” my experience: this product was pretty effective for exfoliating and removing the dead skin cells off of my face since it is formulated with a beta hydroxy acid formula (bha - which is the salicylic acid). i used this scrub everyday for about 2 weeks straight until i noticed that it started leaving a tight feeling on my face after usage (although this is labeled as a “gentle scrub”). i found this to be a bit too harsh for everyday use on my skin, but that might just be because i have sensitive skin). instead of using this everyday, i limited my usage of this product to about 2-3 days every week. after using this algorithm, my skin felt smooth and soft after without the tight feeling that i was experiencing before. i also noticed that this helped remove and reduce the appearance of some of my blackheads. Pimple Clean Up Done quickly
Pimple Clean Up Done quickly
Let me just say and then pray that I don’t jinx myself that I’ve never had horribly acne prone skin. My mother never taught me about makeup and skincare but growing up I knew enough to know that I had to at least wash my face. Sadly that’s all I was doing besides moisturizing up until about a year ago and I deeply regret it. Things have changed for me and now I’m all about that skincare and I’ve even gotten my husband addicted and he loves it! Late July I started a new job that puts me in an a non climate controlled environment. I live in North Texas so needless to say, all that heat, sweat and dirt played horrible havoc on my face and I suddenly found myself with new fresh beautiful breakouts. What a joy! So I decided to give telegram DermaE acne cleansing wash, blemish control serum and balancing cream a go and well..... BAM! Goodbye breakouts. My skin was literally cleared in less than two days and I was ecstatic to say the least. I’m a huge fan of DermaE but there is something that I do t like about this line but not enough so to not use it. I know many are a fan of the scent but the smell of tea tree oil is a huge no for me. It sets off major headaches for me, regardless of that. This is a fantastic line that I will continue to use!DERMA•E - Acne Deep Pore Cleansing Wash DERMA•E - Acne Blemish Control Treatment Serum DERMA•E - Acne Blemish Control Treatment Serum

💓Exfoliation, I can't recommend you enough this combo! 💓
💓Exfoliation, I can't recommend you enough this combo! 💓
Exfoliating is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin using a chemical, granular substance, or exfoliation tool. Regular exfoliation can also help prevent clogged pores, resulting in fewer breakouts. Long-term exfoliating can increase collagen production. So, if you want to have the  glowing, vibrant skin, get started! 🌟🌟 The first thing is to find the right product for yourself,I've never bought any other brands since I started using Aesop's exfoliating series!👇🏻👇🏻 Aesop - Tea Tree Leaf Facial Exfoliant Its ingredients include grated tea tree powder, crushed nut shell, aloe vera, and purified clay. This exfoliant must be used with Aesop's Fabulous Face Cleanser! 💙How to use it: Pour the cleanser on your palm, sprinkle with powder, add a few drops of water, and mix well. You'll feel like you're blending mud if you use too much powder. After washing it off, you'll feel like you've just applied a deep cleansing mask, with milia and blackheads flattened. It leaves your skin refreshed but very dry. Those with oily and combination-oily, sensitive skin can also use this product. Just try avoiding the cheeks. Aesop - Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste This product contains very small exfoliating grains. The main ingredients are fine quartz particles, rosemary leaves, and lactic acid. It's suitable for normal, dry, and sensitive skin. 💙How to use it: After cleansing, just gently rub it all over your face, gently massaging it over your cheeks. It is moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling so soft and tender, squeaky clean and comfortable. I also have sensitive skin, so when my skin is sensitive and unstable, I need this product to help get rid of the excess oil in my T-zone. What's your fav exfoliating products and Are you a fan of Aesop? Share with me!💖💖

my newest skincare purchases!
my newest skincare purchases!
throughout the past few weeks my acne has flared up so because of that I decided to try a couple new products. first- The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I have only been using this product for about a week and already am in love. For those of you who don’t know, niacinamide is an ingredient that brightens the skin and help balance oil production. I have definitely seen less oil on my face throughout the day and when using this product, it’s not like many other products I have tried for pores that immediately dry out my skin, this as well hydrates the skin. I would recommend this to anyone with oily to combo skin but I have seen it has been out of stock everywhere so as an alternative I would try the inkey list niacinamide serum. second- CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel I had originally tried a sample size of this months ago and loved it. It immediately helped bring out the white head in my pores and I had been waiting for the mini size to come in stock to order it. My product finally came in the mail today and staring at it I am not sure the tiny .5 fl oz bottle was worth 18 dollars. Yes, the product does what it’s supposed to do but it does just that and is not very impressive. I glanced at the ingredient list and realized the product does contain two ingredients I am NOT a fan of at all. The FIRST ingredient was denatured alcohol. Denatured alcohol is an ingredient that will strip your skin but can tend to be very stripping to your skin. The fourth ingredient is witch hazel which is very simaler to denatured alcohol and acts like am astringent by drying out your pimples or pores. I rated this product a 3/5 because it does what it is said to do but, also is not worth the price and I don’t like the ingredients other then salycic acid. third- KINSHIP - Naked Papaya Gentle Enzyme Face Cleanser For a long time I had been using a cleanser that was way two stripping for my skin so I decided to try a more hydrating cleanser. First off the bat, I noticed that it had a super strong papaya scent that was not from fragrance but from natural papaya. An ingredient that stood out to me was aloe to sooth the skin. This is also alcohol free and fragrance free. This product was super soft on the skin and felt nice but I have been using it for three weeks and have not seen any results. It cleans your skin and gets rid of dirt but, it hasn’t helped with my acne and pores at all. I will give you an update if I see any difference in results in these products but for now this is how I feel. Have you tried any of these? If so what were your thoughts?

✨HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT - Third Repurchase!
✨HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT - Third Repurchase!
✨ What is it? Thin cotton pads drenched in the most LUXURIOUS formula. I use it as a morning cleanser to both remove my products from the night before and give my skin a boost of exfoliation and radiance. It can also be used as a toner pad after you cleanse if you have oily skin or feel like you need something extra. ✨ What’s in it? The ingredients that stuck out to me are as follows: • Witch Hazel - soothing astringent • Salicylic acid - pore un-clogging BHA • Sodium PCA - natural moisturizing factor • Bakuchiol - natural retinol alternative • Lactic and Glycolic acids - exfoliating AHAs (low %) • Willow Bark extract - anti-inflammatory and pore clearing ✨ My thoughts: This is my #1 favorite product on the market. Dr. Nassif’s skincare line is all medical grade products with ingredients that WORK. These pads keep my skin crystal-clear, nothing evens me out like they do! I’m a huge fan of AHAs and BHAs and I just recently started learning about the benefits of Bakuchiol which only heightens my love for this product. A MUST try!! Its $45 for 60 pads, but this product came in a FabFitFun box a few seasons ago which is where I first tried it, and you can sometimes get it as a discounted add-on if you have a subscription! Unfortunately the pads do contain fragrance low on the ingredients list, but I personally do not find it to be sensitizing and I cannot smell a fragrance at all. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions! 💕✨ NASSIFMD DERMACEUTICALS - Complexion Perfecting Detoxification Pads
