Raving Naturium for their Formulation & results

Raving Naturium for their Formulation & results

Beautycation_by_shruti
These are purchased for the key ingredients they have. These all are almost crucial in my Acne prone skincare routine. I am raving about Naturium for their formulation and the whole product formula in function. It's simply right, by this I feel like you should definitely give them try. Almost all of their products are lightweight, gel like consistency and they penetrate in skin quickly. They don't leave a sticky finish and are amazing for results you'll see just in a day or two. I'll give my detailed thoughts on these in some days! Hope you get an insight on whether you'd like to try these from Naturium 😇 Giving these a full five stars because I know the formulation from up close and I know these will work a 100% . NATURIUM - Azelaic Topical Acid 10%
NATURIUM - Alpha Arbutin Essence 1%

These products are the keys to good skin! Naturium has blown me away with this essence, my skin texture and brightness changed overnight and for 20 bucks it’s unbeatable. Apparently my skin loves alpha arbutin. My skin also loves niacinimide so it is no surprise how well the good molecules toner worked for me and it has so much product for 16 dollars. I’ve already posted about my obsession with the cos rx essence (follow me and check out my previous posts where I give out the deets). I like the firming sensation of the pink drink by Sunday Riley. I only use my essences in the morning and it tops everything off nicely. Would I repurchase for 48 dollars??......... eh it’s pink so why the hell not lol. And last but not least my fenty spf moisturizer that smells like heaven and hydrates my skin like a dream. Nothing and I do mean nothing will ever replace it. It’s not a bad price at 38 dollars I believe and this bottle is still the first one from their initial launch and I wear it everyday. Def worth the money!!! Follow me and look out for for my pm routine coming soon!

Great for hyperpigmentation!
Have you tried Naturium products? I have been very pleased with this NATURIUM - Alpha Arbutin Serum 2% and I can’t tell you enough how much it helped faded my very recent hyperpigmentation. This is a highly concentrated serum that is formulated with alpha arbutin, along with niacinamide and lemon extract. Alpha Arbutin is naturally derived from bearberries, blueberries and cranberries. It is actually one of the safest skin brighteners and the skin converts it to hydroquinone, without irritating the skin. This is a lightweight serum that is transparent in color and fragrance free. It absorbs quickly on the skin without feeling sticky or thick. I apply this right after my toner and before other serums in the morning. I have been using this for over a week now and I can tell that my recent hyperpigmentation has faded significantly. Not only this serum is brightening but also it is a good antioxidant. It is vegan and cruelty free. I didn’t have any problems layering it with Vitamin C, Niacinamide and Retinol. If you are looking for brightening and preventing dark spot development, this one is a good product to consider. What products do you like to use to lighten your acne marks, hyperpigmentation or sun spots? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Got Dark Spots?! These Are My Fav Ingredients 💯
I struggle a lot with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation! I always get dark spots post breakouts. Once I started focusing on brightening my skin, it was a game changer! My complexion began to look so much more even and less spotty. These are my favorite brightening Ingredients that faded my dark spots! 💫 AHA's AHA's like lactic, mandelic, & especially glycolic acid all work by urging along your skins natural shedding process. It speeds up cell turnover to fade spots, brighten, & even skin. It also helps with skin texture and pores. But AHAs can be irritating, especially at higher percentages so it's important to do your research before buying a product. If you're new to exfoliating acids, I'd start with a gentle formulation. VITAMIN C Vitamin C has been shown to impede melanin production, which help fade dark spots & lead to a more even-toned complexion. It's also a great antioxidant & has MANY other anti-aging and skin smoothing benefits. And it can be used daily, which overtime will result in a dramatic change in your skin! NIACINAMIDE This is a powerhouse ingredient that can be used by almost anyone! To get a full run-down on niacinamide, PLEASE check out my post on it! Like Vitamin C, It also helps to slow down the production of Melanin & lighten dark patches. But it's less likely to be as irritating, and has more benefits and faster results. Especially for acne-prone skin. HYDROQUINONE Hydroquinone is a controversial ingredient, but has been found as the most effective ingredient for evening out your skin tone & fading dark spots. If formulated right, (which most hydroquinone products in the U.S are) then it's safe and super effective. Hydroquinone, again helps limit skin from creating an excess amount of melanin. The strongest you can get it over the counter is 2%, but prescription it's commonly 4% or even higher. ALPHA ARBUTIN Alpha Arbutin's sole purpose is skin lightening. It's a skin whitener, often used as an gentler alternative for hydroquinone. And It reduces melanin formation, improving the appearance of discoloration. I'm new to this ingredient, but I love it! Alpha Arbutin also pairs GREAT with Vitamin C, and Niacinamide for maximum brightening effects. RETINOL Retinoid is a popular, multi-tasking ingredient that works by prompting surface skin cells to turn over & die, making way for new skin cells. And it curbs the production of Melanin. It's one of the most researched ingredients on the market, and has great benefits for aging, and even acne prone skin. You also want to start at a low concentration of retinol, because it can be irritating and drying. AZELAIC ACID Azelaic acid is an underrated ingredient. It gently works wonders on hyperpigmentation & acne prone skin. It targets certain pigment production, & fades dark spots without lightening the normal skin tone. It does this by targeting melanin. AND it's safe during pregnancy! Side note: NONE OF THESE WILL WORK WELL IF YOU DONT USE SUNSCREEN ⚠️❗

Which BHA Product for Your Skin Type?
If you deal with acne-prone skin or enlarged pores, salicylic acid (BHA) is heaven-sent for most folks. Oil-soluble, it penetrates more effectively/deeply into the pore than water-soluble AHAs, touting hydrating, antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties in addition to exfoliating. But Which BHA Product Is Best for You? 👀 • PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator : $29.50 USD, $0.25 per mL. A cult classic, an international bestseller, a bottle of liquid gold. Water-thin, it contains a couple of humectants, an antioxidant, and 3 preservative/stabilizing ingredients. A super simple INCI list! This makes it especially friendly to many sensitive-skinned folks, as the list of possible skin triggers is small. Some people say the finish feels oily, but I find it intensely hydrating and it soaks in quickly, making it great for combo and dry skin alike! This simple liquid is my pick for enlarged pores and general skin congestion. • NATURIUM - BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2% : $20 USD, $0.17 per mL. Encapsulated salicylic acid and a variety of humectants make this a hydrating exfoliant “toner”, perfect for those with any skin type, with one exception- those with sensitive skin may have issue with the citrus extracts contained, though the producers of the extracts claim they contain mild AHA exfoliant properties. I’d recommend this to any skin type with non-sensitive skin looking for a budget SA product that leaves skin hydrated but not tacky, and helps to keep pores minimized and unclogged. Texture-picky folks on a budget will love this! • THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Blemish + Blackhead Serum : $10.99 USD, $0.37 per mL. This is the best BHA for oily skin, featuring a super simple INCI list made up of humectants, stabilizers, salicylic acid, and zinc PCA. Salicylic acid helps to keep pores clear while zinc pca helps to reduce sebum production, though I personally react badly to zinc pca- bumps and itchiness, unfortunately. This product is still one I recommend to friends, as it’s affordable and has minimal chance of triggering skin allergies/sensitivities other than the zinc, with huge potential for those that struggle with acne in general.

The Ordinary Retinol: I want to love it!
The Ordinary Retinol: I want to love it!
Bonjour ma cherie! Today I’ll be talking about a product that I feel like I gave a good try, but ultimately abandoned. The Ordinary - Retinol 1% in Squalane Soooo... yeah. I bought this because I wanted to smooth out my complexion and get rid of my abundance of closed comedone acne. I used this a few times a week to start and continued for about a month. And let me tell ya, I just couldn’t go any longer. My skin was bumpy and irritated after the first few uses. I was careful not to overload my face with this stuff but alas to no avail. I still have hope for this product, but I just don’t know how to use it. Now, the low rating seems unfair if I believe I simply used the product wrong, but it did cause a lot of irritation after spaced out use sooo... I gotta be honest. I will probably try this again in the future but I need YOUR help. I have combo skin that I guess is a bit sensitive. I also have just started using a BHA and AHA from Cosrx. How do I use this The Ordinary product? HELP

What makes this serum great... Niacinamide is a form of the vitamin B3 which is commonly found in food we eat like greens and grains. It is a gentle but potent addition to serums that are developed to help with acne, like this one. Niacinamide works by balancing and strengthening the skin barrier so instead of killing bacteria it helps skins natural immune system work better. Zinc is anti inflammatory, as well as helping skin’s natural defense mechanism. Alone, zinc added topically does nothing, but with niacinamide, or a topical antibiotic it has proven effects at helping acne sufferers see the results they are looking for. People who have acne can also benefit from taking zinc in small quantities as a supplement. Glossier is such a cool company. I love their branding and presentation. I have mentioned it before, but when I first learned about Glossier I underestimated their products because I figured they were all about the look, but I have been continually impressed. Super Pure is currently out of stock for reformulation. I wonder how it will be different when it comes back. Did this product work for you? TLC Framboos: worth it?
TLC Framboos: worth it?
Is DE’s $90 exfoliating serum worth it? To lots of people—yes! To me, no. This serum is pleasant to use: it has a smooth gel texture, it absorbs with minimal tackiness, and it tingles only slightly for me. I like that it has a blend of different acids to tackle multiple issues. However, it’s not my favorite exfoliant that I’ve tried, so I won’t be repurchasing. I just didn’t see dramatic improvements in either my acne or my PIE, which I was hoping it would help. My favorite exfoliant thus far is Dr. Dennis Gross’s extra strength alpha beta peel pads—they erase my dark spots like nothing else I’ve ever tried.

Recommendations for RED acne scars?! PLEASE!!!
Recommendations for RED acne scars?! PLEASE!!!
I’ve had these these red acne scars for a few months now. (Skin history) I didn’t have a lot of acne growing up, had a pimple here and there, but I did have fungal acne on my forehead from 15-17 yrs old. Now at 18 it’s cleared up. In the passed 6 months or so I started getting lots of acne on my checks and I would try and pop a few but not all of them, and they ALL scared still! The redness never seemed to go away but there are no bumps. Now I have a bit of physical acne scaring and these red acne scars and a few dark (black/grey) acne scars on my chin. I have been using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% for two weeks now and it’s not really helping with the red acne scars like I’d hoped, but it has helped with minimizing my pores and my dark acne scars, like it advertises. I just got the JULEP - Love Your Bare Face Cleansing Oil because I saw a (tik tok lol) saying it helps with red acne scars but I’ve only been using it for 2 days so can’t say if it’s working or not. Any recommendation specifically for red acne scars are greatly appreciated!!! Mahalo 🤙🏼

SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum what is it: a serum infused with glycolic, salicylic, and hyaluronic acids to help clear, smooth and make skin glowy. concerns: pores, acne, blemishes, oily skin my thoughts: I REALLY love that this serum only has 12 ingredients keeping it simple and effective. I wasn’t a huge fan of the texture (a bit sticky), but I do feel like it helped with active blemishes. I wouldn’t consider it a hydrating serum, but if you are looking for a cheap serum ($12) for acne with simple ingredients, give this a try! It’s not my favorite, but I do use it from time to time and have not any negative effects from using it!

“This concentrated next-generation serum is built to help keep oil and pores under control while minimizing shine. Oily skin has met its new warrior. Our results driven combination of ingredients includes niacinamide – to aid in oil regulation, provide a skin barrier, and help improve the appearance of enlarged pores & uneven skin tone, and our berry complex- a triple action threat to oil & acne prone skin to help limit sebum oxidation, protect skin’s natural barrier, and help moderate irregularitites in tone.” performance | .8 star | wow am I regretting not taking this with me in my travel bag! I’ve been using this for a month and half, but since I didn’t take it with me my forehead has the worst breakout ever this week 😠 my skin wasn’t used to coming back to this humidity and got all gunked up, on the road to recovery texture | .6 star | it’s pretty thin, but dries up almost too quick sometimes like sinks into my hands before I can get it all on my face scent | full star | hint of berry packaging | .75 star | branding appeals more to the younger crowd, but elevated for the price. Lots of verbiage on the package, I like how they’re switching to a box vs the shrink wrapping ingredients | .5 star | no organic ingredients, but there’s *natural perfume in here 😭 value | full star | at only $16 this is a steal! Plus it’s a local brand so I like giving them money Total 4.65 out of 6 stars ✨
