How I cleared my Acne - My AM and PM routine
Swipe left !! 🔙 So, my Hormonal acne is almost cleared up and I'm so excited to share with you how I cleared my acne as well as what products worked amazing for that! As shown in pictures six months back I had painful, bleeding cystic acne that flared up because of PCOS (Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome). I managed to leave them at bay now, leaving me focused on just the acne scars which are also faded a lot! I believe whoever has hormonal acne, or breakouts in general this routine will for you! So here's my morning and nighttime routine for past six months ( some products are added recently but they're helping me in maintaining my skin Acne-free) AM - @fresh Soy cleanserfresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash @innisfree Panthenol 10 tonerinnisfree - Truecare Panthenol 10 Moisture Skin @naturium Hyaluronic acid essence 2% NATURIUM - Hyaluronic Acid Essence 2% @Tula Pro-Glycolic PH resurfacing tonerTULA SKINCARE - Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner Alternate day (replacing AHA/ @tula toner) - @naturium Vitamin C Super serum plusNATURIUM - Vitamin C Super Serum Plus @theordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% @naturium Niacinamide 12% + Zinc 2% NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2% @sundayriley C.E.O Vitamin C rich hydration cream SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Curology - Curology formula Two nights in a week (replacing @curology formula) - @sundayriley A+ Retinoid serum / @theordinary Granactive retinoid 2% emulsionSUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum This is my detailed routine and I really want to root for Azaleic acid as an ingredient as it helped me with my acne as well as (PIH)dark spots at the same time. Azaleic acid is such a great all rounder and no brainer when it comes to treating Acne and lightening/fading dark spots. Quick overlook of it's benefits- - Anti-microbial (hence kills acne causing bacteria) - Anti-inflammatory (reduces redness and look of blemishes) -Gently exfoliates skin (Unlike potent AHA but gives similar exfoliation) - Reduces skin texture and textural irregularities - Lightens and brightens dark spots, PIH, melasma by slowing down melanin production - Works well with almost all actives including AHA/BHA, Vitamin C, Retinols - Isn't photosensitive meaning you can use it in the morning as well as at night. Which product/ingredient you like the most? ⭐
SOYYYY NOT IMPRESSED
Okay so I love me some Fresh products, but I’m really not impressed with this. It kills me to say but I had to. Don’t kill me haha I know that this is a fan favorite. I definitely like other cleansers a lot better. Maybe I had to high of expectations, but if I’m gonna drop some cash on a nice product, it needs to be the shit! For me this wasn’t to special. :( fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash So first, I do like the consistency, and I love that it has amino acids in it. If you love it and it works for you, then that’s amazing. But for me it was pretty ordinary and not worth the mula 💴 in my opinion. :) It's made with amino acid-rich soy proteins, calming cucumber extract, and balancing rosewater. It doesn’t really have a smell to it. I wanted it to smell like roses haha. It really didn’t take off any of my eye makeup like it claims too either. Not a big deal for me because I double cleanse anyway but still if it says that’s what it does then it should :) MAIN INGREDIENTS Amino acid-rich soy proteins help maintain skin elasticity. Calming cucumber extract aids in soothing the skin. Rosewater is notable for its calming and balancing properties. Borage seed oil helps to nourish and soften.
Pretty good makeup remover
FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm This is a popular cleansing balm by farmacy that claims to melt away all your makeup. The targeted concerns are irritated skin, pores, or dryness but it can really work for any skin types or concerns because it’s really just removing ur makeup. It is a green creamy texture that melts into an oil super easily. I just got this but my first impressions were that it worked really well! I double cleansed and this was my first project. My skin didn’t get any worse and I feel like it really took off everything. Before this I was using the clean in zero cleansing balm which was a fraction of the price and to be honest just as good if not better. This is still a solid cleansing balm but I think after this I’ll continue to repurchase the clean it zero!

I absolutely love this cleanser! It leaves my skin really soft and clean. The little exfoliating fruit bits are small enough that they don’t scratch my face and leave it red. It also smells really good and not too scented. I have the small size and will definitely buy the full size. 😍 The formula is gentle enough for my sensitive skin and that’s a huge plus for me. If you’re curious about this definitely get a sample of it, and hopefully it works for you too. ✨✨ TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser

A good cleanser and a gentle exfoliating scrub are important parts of my daily skincare routine so I was super excited to get the chance to try the Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash and the Soy Face Cleanser (a cult favourite for many beauty gurus!). Here’s the breakdown: ⠀ ⠀ ▫️FRESH SUGAR EXFOLIATING FACE WASH: I loved the smell of this product and how gentle, yet effective it was on my skin! I use it at night after removing my makeup and my skin instantly feels much smoother and looks more radiant. You can actually see the exfoliating sugar crystals which are very gentle on the skin - their exfoliating power can be customized by adding more or less water, depending on your preference! It did not irritate or dry out my skin and is safe for everyday use. Although it’s a great product, I think the price of $42 at Sephora is a little steep. ⠀ ▫️FRESH SOY FACE CLEANSER: I was a little disappointed in this one just because of the fact that it is so hyped up! This product is also very gentle, yet effective, and leaves my skin soft and smooth. I used this gel cleanser 2x daily - morning and evening- and it does a great job of removing any remaining impurities without stripping or irritating my sensitive skin. So why am I disappointed? For one, this stuff runs for $49 at sephora - That is crazy to me! Second, it smells so bad. So so SO bad. So bad that I didn’t wanna put it on my face and so bad that I couldn’t wait to take it off. Does it work? YES. Did I like the results? YES. Will I purchase it? NO. ⠀ ⠀

The Rice Polish-Gentle was one of my first introduction to J-Beauty. This super gentle exfoliating foam enzyme cleanser is perfect for sensitive skin. Add a little water to the rice polish to gentle cleanse the skin. It’s a spa-like experience for sure. I use this product from time to time when I want to treat my skin to gentle exfoliation. I have combination skin and this polish is gentle enough to use on a regular basis. TATCHA - The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder

🍓Mini Review🍓 A few weeks ago I scored some minis of the fresh beauty Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash. While I don’t use ”scrubs” often, I do like to do a quick physical exfoliation before applying my IOP tanning drops. For this purpose the Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash is great! The product is gentle and I like that you can tone down the exfoliation by simply adding water.

Great cleansing balm
BANILA CO - Clean It Zero 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm This hypoallergenic cleanser claims to cleanse, gently exfoliate & hydrate skin. It even claims to remove waterproof makeup. Targeted concerns include dullness/uneven texture, pores and dryness. It has a sherbet-like balm texture that transform into a smooth oil when applied to skin. This is the first cleansing balm I used ever after seeing a YouTuber rave about it and my curiosity got the best of me. I’ve tried their cleansing balm (purity) also which is formulated for sensitive skin & they are both very similar— no irritation. However purity was scentless (one of my faves) but this guy has a cherry scent to it. It makes me think of medicine when I use this. In terms of cleansing powers, 👍🏻 it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft each time. It doesn’t leave a weird film even before the second cleanse. It has a twist off cap, but only has a whimsy plastic holder for the scooper. Eventually I will toss the plastic out & throw the scooper inside or not use the scooper at all. For this 100ml jar, it’s only $19. Absolutely think it’s worth it. Will most likely repurchase the purity version instead of the original (this jar). Highly recommend this due to how convenient it is to travel around with! Ps this is my 4th jar!
