𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞. I’d thought I would share a brief introduction since you’ve found your way to my page. 🥳 I’m a 32 year old stay at home mommy and Behavioral 𝖧𝖾𝖺𝗅𝗍𝗁 𝖧𝖱/𝖯𝗋𝗈𝖿𝖾𝗌𝗌𝗂𝗈𝗇𝖺𝗅 [𝗈𝗇 𝗌𝖺𝖻𝖻𝖺𝗍𝗂𝖼𝖺𝗅.] that lives in the Eastern Shore of Maryland. (the country 🥴 lol) I’ve always loved beauty products from the time I was around my daughter’s age, playing in my mommy’s make-up and avon (she was that girl!) products. As I’ve gotten older I’ve discovered new and innovative beauty + skincare and I’m excited to see long-awaited doors opening especially for Black companies, MUA’s & estheticians in this field. 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭: An Esthetician, Dermatologist or MUA. I just simply enjoy reviewing products and exchanging ideas with my friends + fam and I thought it would be cool like many others online to create my own space. There are amazing aforementioned creators in all of the professions listed above and I advise anyone who needs more information to seek advice and proper momentary compensation to them. Thank you for checking me out! I’m glad you stopped by! ✨💕
Do you use mists during the day? I regret not trying them earlier. I started using one only last year and now I'm officially a misting-addict. I was impressed with 5yina's formulation process. Their products are crafted for an efficacious minimal beauty ritual based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) using time tested ingredients and modern actives. Every product is tested for over 2 years on different skin types and through seasonal changes and formulations are fine tuned for perfection. The botanicals used in them are all extracted in-house using artisanal extraction methods and are pure and potent. These pristine formulations are then packaged in sustainably handcrafted, recyclable white glass containers that preserve the potency of the ingredients. Hydrolat is a mist, toner and an essence. An all-in-one that you can use to cleanse, tone or refresh during the day. It is based in aloe vera juice with distillates of Cucumber, Helichrysum, Peppermint, Honeysuckle and Witch Hazel. It also includes extracts of American Ginseng(adaptogen that brightens complexion), Perilla seed(anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial), Tremella Mushroom(humectant, nature's Hyaluronic acid), Licorice root(anti-inflammatory,evens skin tone), Lotus leaf(prevents breakouts) and Green tea(rich in antioxidants). The mist is super fine with a fresh herbal scent. I don't use it in the morning and evening routines alone but spritz every time I need a skin-quenching pick me up during the day. It is cooling, hydrating and refreshing. Retails for $45!
HOW I STEAM MY FACE
HOW I STEAM MY FACE TO DEEP CLEAN MY FACE PORES, MINIMIZE THEM AND AVOID SKIN ISSUES AT HOME😱❤😍 FACIAL BRUSH: I’m Using one bristle from my brush kit of 4 for face and body COMBINATION AND SENSITIVE SKIN : water and chamomile would work perfectly 👌🏻 🔸Before going to bed 🔸Once a week (Specially if I have wearing lots of makeup) I have noticed when I do it once a week i barely break out not even when PMS is coming lol so it is really important to deep clean your pores to avoid any skin issues! 🔸Place your face 5 or 10 inches where you feel comfortable away from the steam( it should feel like a massage, not burning) ⭐️The warm steam causes your face to sweat which opens the pores releasing all the dirt that causes acne skin blemishes. or makes our pores to look larger, ⭐️After i do this for about 10 minutes, I let my face cool down and go to my normal temperature again 👌🏻and then I rinse my face with cool water to close back my pores and mousturize.😘 Adding herbs to the water works soothing and healing like and aromatherapy session just at home ☺️ OILY SKIN "🍋:Contains Citric acid which can neutralise and control the oil secretion of oily skin" MINT: (Just use a little bit, specially if you are a little bit sensitive) IT has refreshing and soothing properties for the skin, contains menthol, and that is why it cuts down the secretion of oil from the sebaceous gland, making the skin less oily :) DRY SKIN CHAMOMILE: Antioxidant rich, promotes a healthy glow of the skin as it heals and restores its natural moisture content. 🍊:It has antioxidants and vitamin C that help to tighten and tone the skin to give us a natural glow.
superdrug Vitamin E Skincare Hydrating Mist 🌟 I've been using this as a toner and as a last step in my makeup routine for a while now. I'm completely swooning over this product! Not only does it contain vitamin E, A, B5, F and H, it also contains horse chestnut extract and aloe vera. A perfect multivitamin recipe. I'm prone to breakouts so toners can be tricky for me but wow, my skin absolutely loves it. It does contain parfum but it doesn't feel harsh on my skin in any way and has this gorgeous, indulgent tropical scent that I can't get enough of. As a last step in my makeup routine, this finishes my makeup look and turns it into a natural dewy glow. The best part about this product? It costs £2.99 You're welcome 💁🏻
LET'S TALK OILS.. EVEHANSEN Facial oils specifically. I've been using the Rose Camilla antioxidant oil for a couple of months now & it is by far my personal favorite out of the three. Not that the other two aren't amazing as well, but the Rose Camilla is so light & fresh I just love everything about it, expecually how rejuvenated & radiant it leaves my skin afterwards. The Golden Rosehip Regenerating facial oil is definitely a bit thicker, & I did experience some breakouts after using it the first couple of times but that faded away as I adjusted the amount I was using along with how often. I know this one's a fave for many, but we're all different & our skin reacts differently, & my skin loves the Rose Camilla much more. Now to the beautiful Blue Tanzy balancing facial oil. When my skin is stressing tf out, and needs a good calm me down, I reach for this one. It's so incredibly soothing to the skin, & despite how inflamed my face might be I've never experienced any irritation or burning from using it. Example being that I work outdoors in 90° temperatures with high humidity with horse hair, sawdust, & other particles floating in the air. Sometimes my face gets so flared up from the heat & the elements it looks like I'm breaking in hives. That's where the ol blue comes in to play. When I get home I splash some water on my face, wait a second, & apply Blue Tansy & within 5 to 10 minutes my face is totally back to normal. How! What!? Yes it's true! . Although I love the Rose Camilla most, I think it's safe to say that the Blue Tansy's been the most beneficial for me.
