Facial rolling is great for all akin types. Especially those with acne and inflammed skin. The gemstone roller is cooling and when gently used helps to move and remove toxins in the skin. In this video I am using Herbal Dynamics Beauty - Revitage Replenishing Squalane & Argan Oil Serum
Facia rolling can be done daily, either AM or PM.

Sensitive skin buddy: PURITO unscented serum
Sensitive skin buddy: PURITO unscented serum
This serum contains 49% centella asiatica (cica) extract, as well as niacinamide, peptides, and madecassic acid. It is essential-oil and fragrance-free, making it a great option for sensitive skin. It is designed to help reinforce your skin barrier, soothe, promote collagen growth, and improve the appearance of scars over time. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ My thoughts: ⁣⁣ I like this serum. It has a thin texture that is easy to apply. I don’t detect any scent. It does make my face feel tacky for a few minutes, so I usually use that time to brush my teeth while waiting for the product to sink in. I don’t find this serum to be hydrating on its own, so I use it on top or mixed with a hyaluronic acid serum. This serum is very soothing and has helped my skin a lot recently when I went a bit overboard on chemical exfoliation (we’ve all been there!). I can’t say whether this serum is responsible for diminishing acne scars because I use several products that also claim to do that. Overall, I don’t think I necessarily need to use this serum 2x every day, but it’s great to have when my skin barrier has been compromised. I think those with sensitive skin would really love this. For under $20, this is a great product from PURITO! ⁣⁣I’d definitely repurchase. 4.5/5⭐️

the gorgeous bellflower Hibisc
the gorgeous bellflower Hibiscus Anti-Ageing Serum 🌺 This gorgeous serum packs a punch and has so many gorgeous and beneficial ingredients. It's lightweight, absorbs beautifully, layers well and keeps my skin glowing (yes, even through my current breakout). Packed with Hibiscus Sabdarffa Flower Extract 15,000 ppm, it's seriously rich in antioxidants, gently exfoliates, speeds cell turnover, evens skin tone and the high mucilage content of Hibiscus enhances the skin’s ability to retain moisture. It also contains Niacinamide 2% which is amazing for lightening dark spots/age spots, evening skin tone and it can help improve the skins protective barrier. Adenosine 0.04%, it helps protein synthesis and collagen synthesis in the dermis. Last but not least, 7 type complex peptide. Peptides deliver a specific message to neurotransmitters to induce collagen synthesis, signalling your body to manufacture more collagen. Thus, creating firmer, plump skin. (Acetyl hexapeptide-8, Copper tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl tripeptide-1, Hexapeptide-9, Nonapeptide-1) It also contains Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Acorus calamus root. I absolutely love a multitasking serum.

Ceramides - your skin barriers best friend
Ceramides - your skin barriers best friend
I’m a huge sucker for anything with ceramides in them. It’s such a great skin fortifying ingredient that I can’t get enough of. One of the latest product additions to my routine is THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Hydrating Night Treatment . This is an overnight treatment that contains a multi ceramide complex 3% and multi molecular hyaluronic acid 2.5% along with squalane, sodium pca, cholesterol, and a variety of amino acids. These all work in synergy to help protect and rehydrate the skin by forming a protective barrier to prevent moisture lost. This has a slightly thick and sticky cream-ish texture that takes a bit of experimenting to be fully incorporated into a routine. Once fully absorbed, it leaves a bit of a tacky finish. Since this is considered a treatment product, I use it during serum step after my watery serums, if I’m using any that night, right before my moisturizer. So the first time I used this, I experienced massive pilling. I had to do some guesswork and experiment with what I was using before and after this product. What I found worked best for me was using minimal products before applying this, and applying it on slightly damp skin. Applying it on slightly damp skin helped me spread it all over my face easier, and I noticed it also helped the product absorb much quicker. I really liked this product after I figured out how to utilize it. I’ve used this every night for the past 3 weeks now, and especially on exfoliation nights to help rebuild my skin barrier. Since then, my skin has definitely felt stronger and looks more nourished. I didn’t experience any irritations or breakouts while using this as well. Overall, this is a great product to have in an evening routine once you’ve figured out how to utilize it within your own routine. After that, you can expect a stronger skin barrier over time. The inkey list really impressed me with this one. Have you guys tried this yet? If so, any thoughts on it? Rating: 4/5🌟 #CherieCreator #TheInkeyList

Niacinamide For Treating Redness And Spider Veins
Niacinamide For Treating Redness And Spider Veins
Ingredient: Niacinamide Product: BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Serum Erythros   I’m obsessed with Biologique Recherche! Their products literally changed my skin! I have a pretty complicated skin type- it’s dry combination, sensitive, I suffer from psoriasis flare-ups from time to time when I’m stressed out or when I eat a lot of unhealthy food, I get hormonal pimples sometimes during that time of the month, I have very fine spider veins on my cheeks, and I suffer from slight redness on my cheeks. The last issue, I guess, comes from the fact that I do have sensitive skin.   For my specific concern about spider veins and redness, my aesthetician recommended the Serum Erythros from Biologique Recherche.   This pricey serum (it costs about $180 for a 30ml bottle) has a watery consistency and has a bit of clear reddish color. It doesn’t smell funky unlike the iconic Lotion P50. It goes on light but a bit sticky when I apply it on my face. Since it’s super light and watery, my skin absorbs it quickly. My aesthetician advised me to apply it only on areas where there’s redness, which are my cheeks, both sides of my nostrils, and a bit on my chin. I have spider veins too on the bottom part of my cheeks so I make sure I apply the serum there too.   Its 2nd ingredient on the list is Niacinamide, right after water, meaning it has a considerable amount of this Vitamin B-3 variant in it. This ingredient is known to help with treating fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and even acne.   I’ve been using this serum for about 2 weeks now, and I notice that the redness on my cheeks have tamed down. Not only that, my skin’s texture has never been so good all my life. But I guess it’s also because of the other skincare products I use in tandem with this serum, but I think that the potent concentration of niacinamide really helps with my skin texture. I haven’t seen any improvement on my spider veins though but I have faith in it, and I believe it’ll make them disappear or minimize, at least.

Azura Essence by Milasimone 😊 Because my skin is prone to hyperpigmentation and post-acne marks, vitamin C serum is always welcome in my routine. That's why I was really excited when I got this. Let's see how it worked for me! 👇 🍋 : Aqua, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerine, Phenoxyethanol, Aloe Vera, Papaya Fruit Extract, Pomegranate Fruit Extract. AND… That's it! Quite impressive, huh? Unfortunately, I don't know what's the percentage of Ascorbic Acid in this formulation. 🍋 Texture and application: It has very thin and light texture, fast absorbing and non-sticky. Fragrance-free. 🍋 Performance: My skin always reacts to Ascorbic Acid, so at first my skin got a bit irritated and some pimples popped up. However, it didn't discourage me as previously other serum with ascorbic acid (Klairs) caused this reaction as well. After some time my skin got used to it and it was okay. Same situation here. After around a week, my skin calmed down and the serum started to work as it should. My complexion was getting brighter, skin was glowing and plump after using it. I noticed it also helps with some of my hyperpigmentation marks (of course, not alone - I use acids too). I love it under make up, as it sinks in super quickly and doesn't leave any greasy/tacky feeling. 🍋 Bonus: crueltyfree and vegan 🐰🌱 Overall, I really enjoy this serum😍 The ingredients are just wonderful, short list and no unnecessary additions. That's what I like! If you're looking for a simple vitamin C serum with a clean ingredients list - definitely check this one out 💖

Retinol alternative. Does Bakuchiol work?
Retinol alternative. Does Bakuchiol work?
Bakuchiol - is it really a retinol alternative? 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤𝙡? >>A vegan, all natural plant extract, said to be a 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦. Bakuchiol comes from the Babchj plant and is a compound isolated from the seeds and leaves. It is then commercially purified to become what we are seeing in skincare, Bakuchiol oil. 𝘿𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠? There is not enough studies or research on how it works particularly at this time, BUT with the few that there are, 𝙔𝙀𝙎, 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨. ✰ improves sign of aging. Has the same collagen boosting properties as Retinol. ✰ its an antioxidant! It fights against free radicals. ✰ fades pigmentation. It inhibits melanin production. ✰ antibacterial + anti-inflammatory. Fights acne! 𝙄𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚? It’s honestly just as effective according to research. You do have to use it am and pm to achieve the same results just from nightly retinol. ✰ not sun sensitive, wear this night and day! ✰ better suited for sensitive skin types that can’t handle retinol yet. 𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮. You can find a cheaper alternative to Bakuchiol by using Niacinamide with ALMOST the same results. The two ingredients do things differently, but help with similar concerns. 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡? USE BOTH! Bakuchiol stabilizes Retinol, helps it work longer, and also helps skin sensitivity to retinol. HERBIVORE - Bakuchiol Anti-Aging Serum This Bakuchiol serum really didn’t do much for me. It will not be a repurchase. It does not compare to a lower dose/% of retinol at all for me. While it has a nice tacky yet luxurious texture, it pretty much just made my skin feel hydrated and that’s about it. I will be trying the rest of this serum with my retinol as I have read new things about them working better together, so we will see!
