Colour Correcting Concealer Palette Vs Normal Liquid Concealer
Today, I am going to share you two totally different types of concealer. The one is a regular liquid concealer from Essence, the other one is a colour correcting concealer palette from NYX. I believe that many people may not know how to use colour correcting concealer, the following content can be a guide to tell you how to use it when you make up. Product 1: NYX-Color Correcting Concealer Price: AU$12 This product has six colours, and each one serves a different purpose. Once you learn the colour coding of how to apply this product and where to correct it, you are going to get like a flawless face which is really impressive. What I really like about this product is that it is a creamy texture, so you will be able to blend it really well. And it has full coverage, it can almost cover up all kinds of your flaws. I always start with the regular concealer (#5) to cover my melasma. If you have a little bit of acne, you can use the green (#2) which is really helpful to cover any type of redness. The pink (#4) is going to be ideal for brightening around the eye area. If you look really fatigued or if you have dark circles, this is gonna be really helpful. If you have some veins, you can use the yellow colour (#1). Yellow also really helpful if you have a bruise that you want to cover up. You can use the purple (#3) to basically neutralize any type of yellow undertone. Actually, I never use the darker concealer colour (#6) because it doesn’t match my skin tone. These colour correctors will cover the flaw on your face, after applying the foundation, you will get a flawless look. However, if you have dry skin, it may not work. It will crease under your eye area after several hours. Product 2: Essence long-lasting concealer Price: AU$2 You may find this product is pretty cheap and affordable, but it is not mean that this product is of low quality. This concealer only has two shade selection which may not satisfy all customers. The colour #10 is natural beige which is a bit yellow toned, the other colour #20 is pink toned. It doesn’t have any fragrances. Its texture is creamy. I feel like it is really friendly with the people who have dry skin because it does not crease into my fine lines around my eyes, and this concealer lasts for quite a long time. However, it can’t last for all-day or 16 hours as it says, it can last for about 6 to 8 hours a day. Compared with NYX, it is medium coverage, and more natural. It cannot cover all of the flaws, especially dark circles and redness. However, if you only need medium coverage or you are not good at using colour correctors, or you have dry skin, I think this product is very cost-effective.

Steps to Color Correct/Conceal Acne Scarring 😊
There is a science behind color correcting and when you pair it with a good concealer, you’ll have a great acne-less canvas to work with! I created a step by step visual guide for you to use and paired it with 2 full sized pictures of my face so you can see how it looks from afar. Here are a couple extra things to keep in mind: 1. Covering up your scars doesn’t mean you have or should have low self-esteem. This may sound strange to say on a how-to post, but I feel like I should say it because you will receive complements on your good looking skin. Now am I saying it’s a bad thing? Of course not! You look beautiful because you are beautiful! Just remember that as your receiving these complements, be mindful to not look down on yourself or doubt yourself when you have the makeup on and after taking it off. In other words, just because your acne scars are not present at the moment someone/you see it, it doesn’t mean you were any less beautiful when you didn’t have it on. You are still beautiful with or without your scarring! 2. The type of product you use matters! In this process, you could go for a light coverage concealer/foundation to layer on top of the color corrector. However, it may take awhile longer to get everything just right. A creamy concealer that is a medium that could be built to a full can be more beneficial because the color corrector won’t peak through all that much! I use clé de peau BEAUTÉ - Concealer Broad Spectrum SPF 25 in shade ALMOND. It’s spendy but lasts FOOOOOREVER. A little goes a long way! Happy Concealing! ❤️
My secret to slim down my face with highlighter and bronzer
I have a round face. when I would like to change the shape of my face, I have to contour the face with highlight and bronzer. The first step is to primer my face with a moisturizer to make the skin smooth and easy to apply. Then I blend the foundation across my face with a wet beauty blender. Once applied to the foundation, my face looks a little flat. I use NYX - Color Correcting Concealer Palette’s yellow colour as a highlight. I start to contour my face from the underneath of my cheekbones, and go right down the nose, draw a ‘V’ on the chin and apply on the top of the lip, on the forehead and under my eyes. The next step is to use a bronzer to enhance the shape of my face. My favourite is MAC - Next To Nothing Bronzing Powder / Electric Wonder#Sun-Soaked Strip. This one can create an illusion of a sunlight hit on the face. I love the packaging of the product, which looks like gold pink marble. It is a lightweight power that provides long-lasting wear. The texture is soft and nice, feels like silk. it creates a warm, medium-dark and natural undertone and it is more pigmented than other bronzers. I feel it is a little bit more red-base colour than other bronzers. it is natural because when you people exposure to sunlight they probably have red undertones. This one does not look dirty or heavy, it looks just like a natural bronze. And it was a case where a little went a long way. For consistency, I wear it for more than eight hours without fading. The last step is to set my face with setting powder and then mist my face with MAC’s setting spray to achieve a long-lasting markup.
I'm seriously in love with the makeuprevolution Conceal & Define Concealer It not only works with my pale ginger skin, but it held true for 12 hours on my dry undereyes. One of the best concealers I've tried for dealing with fine lines and aging skin!

ANOTHER GREAT SHADE MATCH 🙌🏼
We are going to be talking aboutL'ORÉAL - Infallible Fresh Wear 24HR Foundation I first heard TATI talk about this on her channel and she absolutely adored it so I knew that I needed to try it. It is a nice medium to low full coverage foundation that leaves a satin finish on the skin. Although how you prep and set this foundational play a big role in how this foundation ask for you. My preference is to prep with a hydrating base and a light dusting of powder to say I haven’t worn it for 24 hours but I have worn it for 15 hours. Bring those 15 hours I didn’t really notice many issues one thing that did happen happens with every single foundation I own. And that is that they settle into my fine lines at some point during the day. I did like this one though because it didn’t overexaggerate them and I could usually take my finger and just tap the foundation in to give me the appearances if I just applied it. I think this is a good option for a wide righty of people because you can share it or build it up you can also manipulate the formula to be more Matt or Chloe one other thing that I did want to know is that this does contain fragrance. So depending on who you are that might be a dealbreaker for you but if not I think this is worth a try.

Charlotte Tilbury Foundation
I’m really enjoying this CT foundation! It provides light coverage and leaves a radiant finish and does a good job minimizing the appearance of pores. It is pretty light coverage so a good primer is truly necessary. It plays well with many different types of primers but I do love mixing this with the CT primer (wonderglow). It does have SPF 15 for a little added protection from the sun! I rate it 4/5 because it does sink into fine lines with all day wear and it is on the more expensive side ($44/ 1.4 oz). Of note, it is not considered “clean” but it is free of sulfates SLS and SLES. Charlotte Tilbury - Light Wonder Youth Boosting Foundation SPF 15

Fluid Color Collectors You Will Like!
When we talk about skin correctors, everyone thinks about color correcting palettes, but I actually recommend using correcting fluid more because solid and paste correctors are too thick and make your makeup look heavy. By contrast, correcting fluid helps to correct your skin tone while leaving your makeup light. It's easier to carry around as well. Most recommended:👍👍👍 These twoURBAN DECAY - Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid! They're smooth and moisturizing upon applying, and can perfectly cover facial redness and acne scars. They allow my foundation to last longer with no separation and caking. ThisBOBBI BROWN - Intensive Skin Serum Concealer is suitable for covering dark circles because it's not thick and heavy, nor does it leave a white cast under your eyes, so it creates a natural look. It's very moisturizing but a little too expensive. Etude House Play 101 Stick Color Contour Duo is lightweight but it provides only sheer coverage and only brightens the skin complexion a little, so I won't repurchase it.

Make-up Battle: Drugstore vs Counter Foundation for Combination Skin!
❣️Background For someone with combination skin, if I can avoid foundations, I probably would. Unfortunately, some occasions still call for a fuller foundation coverage, and I have exprimented with a few brands that work for me without clogging pores. ❣️Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation – 1 oz 🔍Lightweight? Yes, it is a silky and fluid foundation that glides across my face easily 🔍Mattify? If you are looking for a foundation that controls your T-zone, this may not be the best choice for you. As it is a very light foundation, it may melt off pretty easily, especially in warmer months. However, I find that layering some loose powder over the foundaton helps with staying power. 🔍Give natural-looking coverage? Yup, with about 40 shades in this series, you can find the closest shade that will “fit you”. With its reasonable price, you can also mix and match two colors to find one that best suits you, especially when seasons transition. 🔍Easy to remove? Pretty much so! I use Micellar Water as a gentle makeup remover at night to make sure it is removed completely before I moisurize. 🔍USD5.39 on Target ❣️Diorskin Forever Undercover Foundation – 1.2 oz Pictured here is a smaller tester version 🔍Lightweight? Water-based foundation that feels ultra-silky and weightless on my skin throughout the day 🔍Mattify? It stays on my face throughout the day and leaves my face looking fresh and glowy, even until the end of the day. A light powder touch-up on my face before I leave for my evening date usually sufficies. A little goes on a long way. For more casual looks, I apply sparingly on my face, especially on my problem areas. 🔍Give natural-looking coverage? The foundation is promoted to “offer the most extreme coverage in a Dior foundation yet.” Compared to other foundations I used, the luxurious texture provides more concealing power over my dark eye circles and darker areas around my mouth and under my nose. The results are natural and I find myself skipping the concealer. It is easy to pick your exact match with 24 shades in this series. 🔍Easy to remove? Compared to a drugstore foundation, I will need to use a more heavy-duty make-up remover and cleanser to ensure that the foundation is removed completely. As its richer formula provides more coverage, I am cool with a stricter cleansing process. 🔍USD52 on Sephora ❣️Conclusion: Maybelline has an edge for its lighter texture and value-for -money factor. If you prefer to experiment different make-up products, feel free to give this a go. If I were to pick one foundation to travel everywhere with, I would go with Dior’s for its heavier coverage and staying power.

Most Hydrating Full Coverage Concealer
I pre-ordered the NEW concealer from BeautyBlender the other day and I am wearing it for the first time today, so here is my first impressions review: Finding your perfect shade can be challenging, especially online, but BeautyBlender made it easy by including photos that accurately show each shade on its compatible skin tone. Speaking of shades, BeautyBlender did a fantastic job creating an inclusive shade range! I know that when the Bounce foundation was released, people were upset and felt that there was an overwhelming amount of light shades that resembled each other. That being said, it looks like the brand took that feedback and listened! There is a beautiful gradient in the shade range & they catered to several different undertones as well. My favorite quality of this concealer and what initially caught my attention is the doe foot applicator. It is flat on one side and pointed & rounded on the other side. The flat side is perfect for achieving maximum coverage in one swipe and the rounded, pointed side allows precision and control. What are the claims? Full coverage in one swipe, weightless, longevity and hydrates / brightens. What do I initially think? This concealer is definitely full coverage - I don’t go crazy and apply concealer everywhere on my face like some people; I just apply it under my eyes, a bit on my forehead and a bit on my chin. I didn’t have to dunk the applicator into the component more than twice to cover all my areas; the doe foot applicator is excellent when it comes to holding onto product and applying it evenly. For such a full coverage concealer, it feels very light underneath the eyes and layers beautifully on top of foundation. It is not heavy, drying, and very minimal to no creasing at all. I always set my concealer with a bit of powder whether it’s loose setting powder or finishing pressed powder. I’ve been wearing this concealer for 6 hours now and there is no creasing - under eyes look smooth and flawless! It has not cracked or settled into any fine lines. Lastly - What does it cost?! So as I mentioned, I preordered mine before it was launched. The concealer retails for $26 which is on par with other higher end concealers, so ultimately I think the pricing is fair. I was able to get free shipping AND a free set of micro mini BeautyBlenders ($18 value) so it turned out to be a great deal! I will have to continue using this before determining if I would repurchase this. Generally speaking, I own more drugstore concealers than high end for the simple fact that Maybelline and L’Oréal make some incredible concealers that work just as good!
