Tough journey to good skin

I have always struggled with acne. As a person with Rosacea, my skin is ALWAYS read, I break out even if I look myself wrong in the mirror and trying to get into a skincare routine without breaking it, it’s a hassle. But, not impossible. Over the past month I started this routine, that if I may see and I haven’t followed through with it 100% of the time but at least a good 85%. I have to admit I haven’t seen my skin clear up as fast as I have with these products. So I’m going to break down step by step my routine. 1. Cleansing - the Clean&Clear - Morning Burst Oil-Free Gentle Daily Face Wash
THIS is a relief on my skin, it feels so good. After that is definitely THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent
, I bought the Coconut water scent one and it’s definitely one of my favorites. 2. Serums - I’ve always used Vitamin E, but never saw any type of improvement so I made a bit of research and this is what I use. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
After that I use FARMASI - Dr C Tuna Activated Charcoal Serum
this one has been wonderful for the rough skin in my nose and forehead. artnaturals - 2.5% Retinol Age Defying Serum
now this one makes my skin feel soft and refreshed. Last but not least in my serum is The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG
I have some dark circle under my eyes and if I don’t have my beauty sleep, Lord knows they show up, so this one is very good for my under eye circles. I confess I bought the Peeling Solution from The Ordinary but I’m a bit scared to try it. 3. Moisturize - This might be one of my favorite steps since it’s the most refreshing ones. For my rosácea, to bring the redness down I use FARMASI - Dr C Tuna Calendula Face Cream
and for my regular moisturizer I use SheaMoisture - Cannabis & Witch Hazel Skin Rescue Moisturizer
Now this, thiiiiiiiiiis is THE BOMB people, I’m telling you, it’s my LIFE SAVER. 4. Acne treatment - For pimples trying to come out, I use BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Maximum Strength Spot Treatment Cream
along with alba BOTANICA - Acne Pimple Patch
and the next day, BOOM! Gone! All these products I bought of either the brand page or Target. I keep these stored in a mini fridge so they’re cold and refreshing to the skin.

PIMPLES-GOOD RIDDANCE! (part 1)
A pimple is a part of everyone’s path and in the time I’ve lived, I encountered many a pimple and each time I obsess over it trying to find the most perfect spot treatment. I think just about anyone can relate. Below is my experience and thoughts on some of the things I’ve tried. A remedy for every pimple type! Kate Somerville - EradiKate Acne Treatment For night time application only. Very drying and funky (contains alcohol, an irritant to skin but works so well I can’t resist.) Most effective on a surfacing pimple (not the screaming kind). Pimple cleared within 1-2 days. Not for cystic acne. HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Invisible+ for Madewell $0.46 per sticker. Surprisingly super sticky and long lasting. As “invisible” as it gets, it blurs acne from afar. You can wear it under make up. Matte enough to wear out in public. Specific for pimples that look prime and ready to pop (note to self: resist the urge to squeeze). YES SISTERS!! This is it! It sucks everything up which gives me a close satisfying feeling to watching Dr. Pimple Popper pop that goody goody for good. alba BOTANICA - Acne Pimple Patch $0.19 per sticker. A cheaper alternative to the Mighty Patch. Contains ingredients like tea tree oil and witch hazel to help calm the pimple. Matte finish but not as thin as the Mighty Patch. Not that sticky, some fall off and gets stuck to my pillow at night. The outer edge circumference starts to lose its adhesiveness throughout the day (be brave enough to wear it in public, it helps!). If I wrote YES SISTERS for the Mighty Patch, this is more like a yes sisters. I use the Mighty Patch until most of the gunk is gone (around 1-2 nights) and if the pimple is still there then I switch and use Alba Botanica pimple patch to absorb any remaining fluids. PETER THOMAS ROTH - Acne Patches $0.44 per sticker. Glossy finish. It has different ingredients like salicylic acid and tea tree oil that helps soothe that flaring spot without drying you as it also contains hyaluronic acid. For best results, use on pimples that hasn’t come to a head yet. The adhesive is pretty top notch unless it’s worn in moist conditions. It has helped me prevent so many almost cystic pimples. I would be at a loss without it. If you know any other effective products feel free to share so I can experience the same joys of eliminating pimples with you! 🤩 For more tips on how to say goodbye to that pimple, check out my other post Pimples-Good Riddance Part 2.

My first retinol - Tretinoin routine
As part of the @cherie and Apostrophe Save My Skin, I got a consult and month of treatment from Apostrophe. My main skin concerns are beginning signs of aging and some dark spots/age spots (hyperpigmentation) that are beginning to appear. A couple of the dark areas on my face are quite pronounced. The Apostrophe process was super simple. Created my account online, answered some questions about my skin concerns, and uploaded some photos of my face and areas of concern, and chose my Dr. All of my information was reviewed by a Dermatologist who suggested a treatment plan to meet my goals. Less than 2 weeks later I had a box at my doorstep! The box from Apostrophe - Topical Formula included my prescription, a sheet detailing my treatment plan, a postcard, and some stickers. Cute. I was prescribed Tretinoin 0.025% + Niacinamide 4%. I’ve been using Niacinamide for about 2 months now, but this is my first prescription retinol experience. I was directed to apply every other night for 2 weeks, if no irritation, move to every night. In order to lessen the chance of irritation I was also directed to use a light moisturizer before and after, use sunscreen daily, avoid eye and mouth area, discontinue use of any acids, and use a moisturizing cleanser as well as a Vitamin C serum each morning. My retinol / Trentinoin daily routine Evening: If I have makeup on I cleanse using BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing or ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm which I also use as a mask of my skin is super irritated. Apply pea size amount of Tretonin + Niacinamide cream over face and half that amount to neck Moisturize with THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer Apply BITE - Agave+ Nightime Duo to lips, generic castor oil to brows with a spoolie, and PETER THOMAS ROTH - Lashes to Die for Turbo Nighttime Eyelash Treatment lash serum to my lashes Morning: Cleanse using BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing or ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Apply SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum all over face and neck Use The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG under eyes Then rose hip oil on areas that feel especially dry or are peel Since it’s only been a couple weeks I will probably end up refining this routine, I’ve noticed dryness mostly around my mouth and nostrils. Highly recommend the Apostrophe process so far! 💙

•HELP• Am i using the right products?
Hello so these are my current skin care products. I have normal skin but my T zone is very dry and I’m prone to breakouts. I also have a high amount of dark spots and my pores are pretty big. I’ve just recently bought some new products in hopes of clearing my skin. I put the products in the order i use them , with the exception of the peeling solution (that i use about 1-2 times a week). I just recently started using these products so I haven’t noticed any big changes so far but I was wondering if these are the right products for me. I’m not so sure about the moisturizer because it makes my skin feel and look very oily. If you have any tips for me or any information or recommendations it would help a lot.

Skin Sherpa
A Sherpa is a guide who typically lives in the Nepalese Himalayas, and knows the terrain well enough to guide travelers safely through. This cream is labelled a “skin rescue” like it’s there to air lift your skin like a distressed mountain climber out of danger and into safety. This seems less like a dramatic “overnight results” product and more like a trusted guide in an established routine. I call this a skin sherpa because it seems like it’s better suited to help you along your skin journey than to perform a sudden rescue of your skin. A Sherpa doesn’t equip you with anything but knowledge and consistency; you have to bring the right gear yourself. It’s a very basic moisturizer and it has fit nicely into my routine without any other products of the same line, but if you need special actives or are looking for more than a solid moisturizer, you may want to try something less dependable and more radical. This moisturizer will be here, however, to guide your other routine items through maintaining a healthy glow to your skin. I recommend it for those who don’t want facial peels or vitamin C, just a little TLC for their skin regiment.

HELP! I need a new skincare routine!
(Excuse my eyebrows I need to get them threaded) LOL So I’ve always struggled with acne, and I’m 18 and it’s still going on. I started birth control to help with my periods and acne about a little over 2 years ago now, and it has dramatically decreased my acne and helped so much with my flow and cramps. I just want to feel more confident because I rarely wear any makeup (foundation) on my face, and when I do I just want it to look smooth and not bumpy. I would really appreciate if anyone could recommend any products they use or have used. My skin is mainly oily, but it can be combination sometimes and sensitive when it wants to. Also, I don’t want to spend a lot of money on products. And what are y’all’s opinions/reviews on The Ordinary? Please help me! 🙏🏼 My morning routine consists of: -Clean&Clear - Morning Burst Oil-Free Gentle Daily Face Wash -DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner -FORMULA 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil Free Moisturizer My nighttime routine consists of: -GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying -CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin -Clean&Clear - Share NIGHT RELAXIN Deep Cleaning Face Wash -DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner -Beauty 360° - Vitamin E Moisturizing Oil -GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water -FORMULA 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil Free Moisturizer (I do use masks sometimes just like everybody else after I double cleanse at nighttime).

Favorite parts of my day!
Clean&Clear - Morning Burst Oil-Free Gentle Daily Face Wash You know those people that love getting up in the morning and have all this energy? I’m not one of those people. I’m no where near being a morning person. When I finally convince myself to get out of bed I go straight to wash my face. I like to use cold water when washing my face with this product in the morning because combining that with this face scrub is the easiest way for me to completely wake up. Lots of face washes have irritated my sensitive skin but this one hasn’t and it makes me glad that I’m not trying to find which one works for me anymore because this one does. Use a moisturizer after product use. Clean&Clear - Share NIGHT RELAXIN Deep Cleaning Face Wash I have really bad insomnia and it can be really hard for me to fall asleep , even if I take some melatonin my body just won’t relax. But when I use this nighttime face wash before I go to bed or when I take a shower at night it gets me sleepy instantly. Going to bed with my face feeling soft and nice it the best way to fall asleep. Only thing though is I recommend using a moisturizer after using product. FOREO - LUNA fofo I used to just use my hands to rub in my face washes. Rub in circles rub in circles, but it didn’t do much for me when I was really wanting to exfoliate my skin. When I got this product I was a little scriptural at first thinking how does it know what routine my skin will need? I downloaded the app on my phone and tried it the night I got it. I had a hard time setting it up so I watched a few YouTube videos but once I knew what to do I started right away. This device is Bluetooth and connects to your app when you’re using it. The little skin censors on the back help the device understand what kind of hydration your skin has , and what kind of care it’s in. It scans your cheeks , nose , and forehead. After the scanning is done it programs the amount of time you use the product on that part of your face, and the intensity of the vibration will change depending on different parts of your face and what your skin needs. This product has helped my skin so much especially when I need my face to be exfoliated at the end of a long day. It scrubs away all the makeup and dirt I may have missed with just using a makeup wipe. Overall just love this product and it’s so cute and small it’s super easy to bring on trips because it just fits right into a bag with my face washes. You can use any face wash you want for this product which is what I like about it too. Highly recommend trying this one out

Clear Hormonal Acne iin 2-3 weeks ! (Routine) ✨l
So I’ve done a lot of post about acne and skin, so I thought it was time to show my results ✨ This is a no filtered photo of my acne progress. Hormonal acne? So acne is crazy unpredictable, but there is usually an identifiable trigger each time (Fungal, Allergic Reaction, Overproduction of oil, etc). Hormonal acne is usually identifiable by bumps on chin, cheek, jaw line, and sometimes even forehead. The numbers This effects teens the most! 80% of teen acne is hormonal related. Why? Puberty of course! 55% of adults (50% of women) suffer from hormonal acne! Why? For women, we still are having our periods and now we’re in our “baby making years” (my acne is postpartum for reference). How to treat it! Oil control: high level of hormones can produce excess oil Cleanse daily Acne topical treatment: salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, retinoids My routine(I have combo/more oily skin) I TREAT MY ACNE AT NIGHT (focus on hyperpigmentation during my daytime routine) Cleanse: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this majority of my nights! It’s very gentle and hydrating without being overbearing CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin I use this 3 times a week! (Monday, Thursday, Saturday) it’s not strong at all ! It does dry my skin out slightly so I follow with my Toner & hyaluronic acid serum! Tone: PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner this toner is AMAZING! It’s marketed for dry skin but honestly my combo/oily skin loves it. I use this every night no matter what ! Serums The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I use this when my skin is dry from the SA cleanser The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% great for treating acne & oily skin. I use this every night and let it work in for 5 mins. Treatment DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel I use this as my treatment of choice. It took about a full month and a half before I saw difference (from purging and retinization) BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Maximum Strength Spot Treatment Cream I ONLY use this when I need to get rid of a terrible spot. I DO NOT USE this with Differin gel. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I use this once a week only ! Do not use with Differin gel or Salicylic acid treatment! Moisturizer CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion Favorite moisturizer! I use this majority of my nights Cliganic - 100% Rosehip Oil I use this with my moisturizer! Great for acne control I also love to drink green tea with turmeric.

Best Acne Nighttime Treatment (non-fungal)
Okay so I’ve posted results of my use of Differin Gel & now I’m going to post my usual routine. (When I’m not wearing makeup). My skin is so weird now since I started using Differin Gel (I went from extreme oily to more combo/oily). Step 1 cleanser CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this when my skin is dry from the day. If I used a mask earlier or a scrub this usually happens. I also like this because I find that adding that extra moisture is important to prep for the Differin gel -or- LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser for Oily Skin I use this of my skin is extra oily from the day. It’s for oily sensitive skin . Sometimes when I go outside with my heavier sunscreen it leaves that annoying oily feel at the end of the day (especially in my t-zone). This cleanser is amazing. I bought the travel size because it was first time trying it but I’ll definitely get the biggest size when I run out! Step 2- I left out my toner because I threw away my Kiehl's - Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner after doing more research into the ingredients & ordered my regular toners I used to use. Step 3 Treat: Serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this is great for my pores and acne breakout I already have. I know it’s totes for oil control to, but I use it all over my face. *Actives* DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel this is my HG acne treatment. I’ve been using religiously it & now I need to buy a new! (I have a lost how to apply correctly). BURT’S BEES - Natural Acne Solutions Maximum Strength Spot Treatment Cream **NEVER USE THIS THE SAME NIGHT AS DIFFERIN GEL!** I use this if I get a really bad spot that I want gone by the morning. It’s the highest concentration of salicylic acid you can get over the counter & it has willow bark (a great pair for salicylic acid). I love a majority of Burt’s bees products due to the high natural ingredients. BURT’S BEES - Renewal Smoothing Eye Cream I did a previous post about using this & how its a effective retinol alternative. I have sensitive under eyes and don’t like to put too many harsh ingredients. This works great for my fine lines. Step 4 moisturize: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I love this moisturizer. It’s not too heavy but just enough ingredients to be effective. It has that extra added niacinamide I need fr my pores & it doesn’t clog my pores at all! WELEDA - Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream I only use this if my skin is extra dry. This will replace my CeraVe (don’t want too much moisture). A little of this goes a long way! I use like two pea-size dots and it covers my entire face dr. brandt - Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask after my moisturizer. I love how this replenishes my moisture. I use this mask 2 times a week.

My “Ordinary” Journey
My skincare routine needed a revamp but I didn’t know where to start. I wanted to use products with good ingredients but I know many companies “green wash” to make you believe all their ingredients are great. I did lots of research and decided to give The Ordinary a try. A little background on my skin: I have aging skin (I’m pushing 38) and it’s been on the dryer side since having kids. I also tend to get peri-oral dermatitis every winter. Then of course, I still get occasional breakouts! Yay hormones 😜 In September, as I was running out of my current skincare products, I replaced them with The Ordinary. I chose HONEST - Gentle Gel Cleanser as I didn’t want anything to harsh or stripping on my dry skin. After I cleanse, I mist my face with HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray then apply The Ordinary - Matrixyl* 10% + HA Because this contains HA, it should be applied to damp skin. On top of that I apply The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I gave this 4 stars because it’s sooooo sticky and takes a while to dry down before I can move to my next step. After that drys, I go for The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I may not have clear skin all of the time, but when I do get blemishes, they clear up very quickly. This stuff is amazing! I follow that with The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and COOLA - Classic Full Spectrum 360 Sun Silk Drops SPF 30 Since starting this routine, my skin looks so much better when I apply makeup and when I don’t wear any, My skin tone much more even. And this year, as winter approached, I did not develop peri-oral dermatitis. My skin retains moisture so much better than it ever has.

Glow Recipe Niacinamide: Dewy, lovely, worth it?
I LOVE Niacinamide, and am not unfamiliar with Glow Recipes products. I have been quite the fan of their Watermelon line (sleeping mask is a fav), especially during the summertime. Throughout the cold season I’ve been loving their Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream. I am actively using their Plum Plump Serum as well. However, their products are $$. I received some as gifts on my birthday, but bit the bullet to purchase Plum Plump and the Banana Soufflé after sampling them and falling in love. Overall, though, I don’t feel that I’ve wasted my money, despite their price range. For me, it was worth it. So what about their newest product? GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Well, as with all their products, it’s a bit pricey, retailing for 34 USD. It smells like fresh watermelon, just like the rest of their line, and the packaging is aesthetically pleasing being frosted glass, and fully recyclable. I also want to recognize the fresh ingredients they use, that their products are vegan, cruelty free, and sustainably sourced. But all that being said, for 34 USD, is it worth it? I’ve been using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% on and off for quite some time now. I give it 4 stars because it can be quite tacky on the skin, and doesn’t really leave me glowing per say; BUT, it’s a reliable, affordable, effective product. It does it’s job fading discoloration while brightening, and the added zinc helps control and heal breakouts. It retails for 5.90 USD at Sephora, so there’s a huge price difference between these two products, and the Ordinary’s is so accessible when you’re on a budget, which I love. So what are my final thoughts? I personally hadn’t planned on purchasing the Dew drops, as I couldn’t justify the price especially when I already had The Ordinary’s serum. Well, my sis purchased it for me for Christmas, so naturally I’ve been using it and had to review the Dew drops. I haven’t been using it long enough to see if it makes a difference in brightening my skin as the Ordinary does over time, but it definitely makes me glow. The formula is so silky, a gel-serum it spreads like a dream, and I love to mix it w/Plum Plump serum and then apply. It leaves me with such a dewy result that I have to admit...I love it. It’s never tacky when I’m done patting it in, and it layers perfectly with the rest of my products. The drops aren’t eplacement for highlighter or makeup, and adding it over makeup on high points of the face made it feel tacky. So don’t expect that. But as a base when you’re prepping your skin for makeup, Its lovely. My skin looks lit within whenever I use it. Is it necessary? No, it’s definitely a luxury product IMO. If you can drop the $$ on it, then treat yourself! But if you’re looking for results on a budget, this product is just not necessary when a tried and true like The Ordinary WILL get the job done. 💕

I got an allergic reaction to my entire routine!
So 2 years ago I woke up with my entire face swollen, red and dry. I had nothing else on my body so it had to be due to something in my face skincare routine. After going to the doctor and getting a steroid shot, I was advised by the allergist to patch test all the products i was using. The result: I WAS ALLERGIC TO ALL OF THEM This was especially weird because I had been using some of these products for over 2 years, but apparently it’s called contact dermatitis. These were the products I used: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel -this one was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I don’t know that it was anything specifically about this cleanser that made me have the reaction but it was just too strong for my sensitive skin THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent - my theory is that this caused my reaction, because I had only been using it for 2 days before I woke up looking like a monster lol. it's still weird that it made me sensitive to my other products as well. Now I know that witch hazel is extremely sensitizing and will never use it again. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream - I don’t see anything wrong with this product in terms of ingredients, but i tried it again recently and got a similar reaction, so I guess it’s just not for me Now it’s been 2 years since all of this happened, and I was slowly able to build up a routine that isn’t sensitizing to my already sensitive skin (check out my last post to see it!) Let mw know if you have any questions/comments/feedback :)

Should I make changes?
Should I make changes?
I've just started to really get into skincare, and have designed a routine that I think is doing me better? I'm looking for suggestions, I have sensitive, acne prone skin that burns super easily in the sun. I have improved the quality of my skin with the changes I've made from just cleansing and moisturizing to adding in some serums, but I just wonder if there are any products that might be helpful for me. I'm a college student looking for more budget options that I can get at a local Ulta or possibly even Target. Please leave suggestions!!

The difference no products can make!
The difference no products can make!
These progress photos are hard to share. But I want to help anyone going through a similar situation :') The photos are 2 years apart for reference, and the second photo is the last of my purged whiteheads. Finally! But my cystic acne was once unbearable, so painful, mentally exhausting, and I even had nodules that would reside deep in my face rent-free only to cause commotion months later. (I tried to evict them...maybe too harshly. Plz don't pick your skin! Especially the nose! Grrr broken capillaries :/ ) I went through so many products- just name it and i've probably tried it. I scoured the internet in search of a holy grail that would save my skin. But to no avail. Here's what I did try (but not limited to): • Oil cleansing (then cleansing off with a water/soap cleanser) • Double cleansing (tried various cleansers, and I have combo skin!) • Retinol moisturizers • Rosehip oil • SA/BHA cleanser 2x / week • Facemask every night for 2 weeks (omg plz don't do this unless you want fungal acne on oily/combo skin...ya that = buying more Nizarol shampoo) • Moisturizing serums • Scrub exfoliaters • Milk cleansers ( I tried most for a month or longer ) NOTHING WORKED. Until....I stopped washing my face with any products completely. Yes I know I was shocked too. I stopped using products all together for the last 4 weeks except for just water in the evening, and my skin hasn't been THIS SUPPLE since EVEN BEFORE high school! High school me is envious lol. The way my skin has been naturally purging and ridding itself of all the dead layers of skin (probably like 50 layers) is a miracle! I can't explain it other than it's similar to the Caveman Regimen where you fix your acid mantle by letting it self-regenerate after 29 days :) (but for my combo skin I do require some water.) As a test: For my forehead I began slowly reintroducing minimal gentle products and it's been amazing! Not a single breakout! AM: Cleanser: water :) Moisturizer: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer T-zone serum: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% PM: Micellar water: Lise Watier - Supreme Micellar (5/5!) Cleanser: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Moisturizer + serum: same as AM. ~ So if you're like me and you've desperately tried everything under the sun (EVEN DIETING yes i've done keto 2 times / low carb twice as well) and found little results? This may work for you. What have you got to lose right? I know it's surprisingly effective for lots of people. My skin . is . finally . able . to . breathe. Perhaps yours will too ♥️

I’m a 15 year old girl who had severe acne for about a year. My acne is pretty much gone now, but I still have tons of severe PIE (NOT PIH, IMPORTANT!!!) that’s so red it looks like active acne. I also have huge pores that can’t be covered up at all. Does anyone have any recommendations for fading PIE fast? I’ll share my routine below. I take off my makeup with Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Gel I use a Pyratine XR cytokinin cleanser, which I couldn’t find here. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream I then use a 0.025% tretitonin and 0.1% clindamycin gel that’s been prescribed to me by me derm. I know I should stop using it to repair my skin barrier, but every time I go more than a week without it I get deep painful cysts. Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion And I use calamine lotion as a spot treatment and cortisone 10 as a spot treatment for larger, redder cysts.
