No more skin dryness for me with hyaluronic acid

No more skin dryness for me with hyaluronic acid   I have combination skin, so certain areas of my face are always dry or excessively dry, while others are rather shinny with excess oil. So, I’m always looking for solutions that are ok for the oily areas but can offer proper levels of hydrations to the dry areas too. Over the last few years, hyaluronic acid has been advertised as the Wonder Child of the cosmetics world. A potent active ingredient that can really retain moisture and, as a result keep skin hydrated for longer. I read a lot about it in different magazines and decided to give it a try after my beautician recommended it. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Since I’ve always had a great experience with The Ordinary products, now this is my go-to solution when I want to try out something new. I’ve used different products with hyaluronic acid before, but the concentration was probably too low to really notice any changes. This serum from The Ordinary has 2% concentration and combines three types of hyaluronic acid molecules. The first thing you notice about this ultra-pure serum is the liquid, watery texture. This makes it incredibly easy for me to apply it on the face, neck and cleavage. I use the serum twice a day, in the mornings and evenings, after cleansing and before other serums or creams with a thicker consistency. I’ve started noticing the results within weeks, the skin looks definitely plumper, fuller, which is really amazing for such an affordable product. For me, it also seems to regulate my sebum production, as my face is not as oily as it used to be, but maybe this is just my experience. All in all, hyaluronic acid is definitely worth it, so I plan to use it regularly from now on and maybe associate it with other moisture retaining ingredients. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

When hydration is needed 💦
I am a dry skinned girl so I am always on the look out for hydrators and moisturizers. This is especially the case as I like to use actives in my routine and they can further dry out my skin. Hyaluronic acid is one of my go to ingredients as it draws moisture into my skin and it works well with other ingredients. The ordinary offers this serum which is great as it is super affordable and it works well with my skin. What is it: This is a hyaluronic acid serum with 3 different weighted molecules so that it can penetrate and hydrate different layers if the skin. Hyaluronic acids is a humectant meaning it absorbs moisture from the air and draws it into the skin. This serum also has b5 which helps nourish and soften the skin. Texture: This is a goopy and cloudy serum that is easily absorbed into my dry skin. Price: This sells at Sephora for $6.80 cad for 1 oz or $12.20 cad for 2oz How I use this: I use this along with my steamer to make sure that the air is moisture rich in order to draw moisture to my skin. This ensures I get the best result. Pros 👍: affordable 2 sizes available accessible effective cruelty free 🐰 Cons 👎: some people don’t like the texture you shouldn’t over use hyaluronic acid (check other products) The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 this is a super simple serum that has really helped my dry skin

1 week update
thanks to all lovely beauties out there to take their time and add a comment on my last post. I was devastated by breakout, i was having from last 2-3 weeks and nothing seems to be working. Well i guess too many exfoliants was making my skin too sensitive so now i am back to basics. I have started what i was doing in the beginning and that seems to be working just fine. I think i was selfish to have a great skin in no time 🥴. If someone is just curious what i am doing right now then lets go to products. AM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control it has tree oil which is good for acne prone skin The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ as i have sensitive and oily skin this makes my face matte and oil free. I really like this one for oily skin or combination skin PM: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser sukin - Pore Perfecting Toner Blemish Control The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (only on spots and acne 2-3 times a week) The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA (once a week) The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (once a week) The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque (once a week) The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane tea tree oil only on spots Even if i have listed so many items i feel i have very basic skin care routine as most of the products are being used weekly or only 2-3 times a week. But in the end this routine is working out for me and i am seeing good progress which makes me happy. Again thanks to all who suggested me before ❤️❤️

Squalane for home pampering - Why I LOVE Squalane
Squalane for home pampering - Why I LOVE Squalane
The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane For as long as I can remember (so this would be like at least four, five years), I get a facial treatment every four weeks. I have combination skin and no particular concerns, but my skin can get easily dehydrated, and the dry areas tend to show signs of aging (hello, wrinkles, and fine line!). My beautician is a priceless source of beauty tips and tricks and so up to date with everything. So, when she said that I should try squalane, it took me less than a few hours to choose a product and order it. I got 100% Plant-Derived Squalane from The Ordinary, and now, after about two months of using it, I am pretty sure I can’t live without it.    I started using it just for my weekly pampering and facial massage – and it makes my skin soft and smooth and incredibly supple. The texture is oily and liquid, but not very dense. It is fabulous for face massages as you can use a few drops and massage for a few minutes without getting absorbed too soon. After I noticed how amazing my skin feels after the massage with squalane, I started using it in the evenings, too, after cleaning the face with micellar water. It is one of the best (and most affordable) overnight treatments with hydrating and anti-aging properties that I have ever tried. I’m completely hooked now. While I’m a bit curious to try squalane from other brands, I don’t think I’ll get this from another brand too soon as The Ordinary squalane makes my skin very happy and radiant. And I don’t think you can’t beat this price, and I got it for about $8. The product can also be used on the hair if you want more heat protection, but it feels so incredible on the face, I couldn’t bring myself to try it on the hair!

3 Best Serums for Hydration, Protection and Brightness
3 Best Serums for Hydration, Protection and Brightness
A few years ago (more like 15!) I felt blessed to have such a good skin and didn’t use much skincare at all. Nowadays, I feel like my skin is dehydrated, dull and starting to show premature signs of aging. Well, maybe not premature, considering my age, but it would still be good to keep them off for a little while longer. So, I had to come up with a plan that deals with multiple issues. First, I wanted some brightness, because a youthful complexion always has that special natural glow. Then I needed hydration, and this doesn’t need any more explanation! And, then, I thought some antioxidant protection would be nice (and should help me prevent premature aging!). Here is my choice of products: For Hydration: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + b5 The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The hyaluronic acid has a liquid consistency and is easy to apply, I use my fingers for this. At first, I was using more than a few drops and it took a few minutes to get it all into the skin. But skin massage is good for blood circulation, so no complains from me. The skin feels plumper after about a few weeks of regular use – I use it both mornings and evenings. The cost is fair, so I will keep buying it and recommending it to other people too. For Antioxidant Protection: The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% The Ordinary - Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% This was a bit of a surprise in terms of how it feels when you apply it to the skin. It was my first time using these ingredients and I didn’t know how my skin will react. While I don’t usually develop allergies, I’m always paying attention when I use skincare products for the first time. This serum is a bit oily, but very fluid. The application is smooth, and it penetrates the skin quickly. It doesn’t leave behind an oily film on the skin, but it does trigger a tingling sensation and some heat. But no redness or irritation, so I guess the heat shows that it is just doing its job!   For More Brightness: The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Well, this one took me a while to decide to buy it. I wanted vitamin C to correct my dull complexion, but I feared the side effects of using a highly concentrated product. So, after many weeks of deliberation, I went for this vitamin C derivate, which has been absolutely great for my skin. I love it and will get it again; it has done magic with my pigmentation spots. When I apply it, I follow up with SPF cream if it is during the day.

This ordinary Niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% Is so amazing When I first started using this product I heard that people said that this works in like a week well not for me. I started to use it and I month later boom on my nose looked a lot cleaner and my face was glowin. But while I was using it I realized that it was pretty sticky but it didn’t bother me too much. Also I am young and my face isn’t that bad I just wanted my face to glow up before I go back to school. I really recommend it btw if you want help with your skin like knowing What Products to use or to know your skin type you should go watch skincarebyhyram on YouTube💗
