Hair addiction - Moroccanoil treatment
You must have heard about Moroccanoil treatment; it’s probably among the most popular hair products in the world. If you travel by plane to Europe, it’s impossible not to have noticed it in every hair studio in airports. I got my first bottle of Moroccanoil in Milan (the airport, yes!), and I was so excited the first time I tried it, I could barely wait to get home. The smell is out of this world, absolutely lush and rich. However, the first couple of times I used it, I was left slightly disappointed. The treatment seemed to make my hair way too soft, and it got greasy, I’d have to wash it again the next day to look clean. I had to put my (big) bottle away, and it stayed away for more than half a year until my hairstylist brought up Moroccanoil in a conversation. I told her my experience with the product, and she advised me to use just two drops of treatment (literally two drops) and never apply it close to the roots. Since I tried this, I couldn’t be more in love with Moroccanoil! After the first few weeks of regular use, my hair became luscious, with a fantastic shine. There’s practically no frizz, which for me, is like a miracle in itself, and it looks like it improved my hair quality a bit. I apply it after washing my hair, on damp hair. If I go a long time (more like three days) without washing my hair, I reapply the treatment, but only on the ends, I feel like I get less split ends since I’ve started using it this way. My hair looks healthy, and it has this glow I absolutely adore. More than this, even if it’s not on the cheap side, the treatment lasts forever, especially if you get the 100 ml bottle as I did. I’m totally hooked up on Moroccanoil now, wouldn’t use other leave-in treatments on my hair ever again!
JuliiiiGirls if you eat organic or if you don’t even eat organic, buy organic products, non toxic is even better I use to use the smithing line from MO but I don’t bc it has a rating of 8 on ewg.org!!! Horrible, I had to cancel this brands!!!

BEST OF SEPHORA: HAIR PRODUCTS 💆🏾♀️
Sephora introduced me to these products years ago and they are still some of my favorites to this day! I love Moroccan Oil products because they are super versatile. I naturally have very dry coily hair and most of their products give my hair a beautiful shine and plenty of moisture to help my hair from breaking. I also wear wigs and no matter what texture I wear these products bring life back into my hair giving my shine, bounce and volume! MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment is made with argan oil. It is thicker than olive oil but thinner than castor oil. This product is full of fatty acids that promote hair growth and strengthen hair. When I use this product on my natural dry, coily hair I apply liberally making sure to saturate my hair from roots to end. When I wear wigs with looser textures I apply a dime sized amount to my hands and rub it in to my hair. This allows me to add shine back into my hair when it looks dull without weighing it down. It also acts as a great heat protectant for when I am straightening my hair. I ran out of my MOROCCANOIL - Moisture Repair Conditioner so it is not pictured here but love the moisture repair shampoo and conditioner set. The MOROCCANOIL - Moisture Repair Shampoo and conditioner are creamy and rich in argan oil, keratin and fatty acids that strengthen, condition and moisturize hair! This is hands down the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used. It’s great for all hair types. It leaves my hair feeling silky. Worth every penny! (OGX Coconut Miracle oil combo gives me similar results and I’ve been using them more lately because they are sold at my local pharmacy. They are also cheaper in price). MOROCCANOIL - Hydrating Styling Cream this works great for my wigs. For straight hair I apply a small amount to my hair before styling . It helps with frizz and adds shine. For wavy to curly textures I apply more liberally and it defines my curls and adds a bit of hold as well as shine and moisture. Although this product works wonders for my wigs it’s not the best for my natural 4C hair. I find that the moisture from hair creams doesn’t absorb well into my hair and often leave white flakes all over once it dries. Oils work better to moisturize my coily hair. #CheriePartner
My recent samples: 😍😐😣
Today I received my free sample of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and I'm so excited that I decided to a premature post about my recent samples.. The good 😍, the bad 😣 and the meh 😐. Premature because I haven't had the chance to try them all yet so there'll be a part 2 of this post! 😁 My review of the ones I tried is as follows: MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment IT'S AMAZING. So I'm very careful of my hair and never subject it to any treatments. I never used serums until I was 23 (bc my hair was almost 4ft long by then). The only one I trust to use is the one I get from India every year. Two bottles (I don't use it very often) for the whole year. When I didn't get to stock up, I looked elsewhere and honestly, I almost never like any hair serums. I've tried Matrix, The Honest Company, Infusium, OGX and idk what else. But this one is so good. It's almost the same as the one I buy back in India with an equally pleasant smell. And it makes my hair silky smooth. All in all, 5 stars OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer The second product I loved! I can't find a better word to describe the cream than "fresh". Every time I apply it, it feels so fresh on my skin, I love that 😍 Plus it has a very faint yet divine smell. It's a sample and I don't have too many fine lines so I can't comment on the anti-aging claims of this cream. But either way, I'm definitely buying this creme sometime next year when I run out of my current creams. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya This one's the meh. It's not a bad cream but it's not great either. I have drier skin and even a little bit feels too heavy and oily on my face. Plus the smell isn't something I enjoyed. BIOSSANCE - Squalane+ Rose Vegan Lip Balm This is the second meh product. Honestly, of the few brands that I really get excited about, biossance is one of them and I can't wait to try their whole line - but this lip balm doesn't do wonders. I use Aquaphor and Vaseline and they work better than this. I do like the really cute bottle though. The texture is similar to Vaseline but with a rose scent. I still use it, but for overnight use I still reach for Vaseline. GLAMGLOW - BRIGHTEYES Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream CLINIQUE - Pep-Start Eye Cream I'm clumping these two together because neither of these worked. The texture of both is not too bad, sometimes even quite pleasant. But if I were to pick one skincare concern for me, it'd be dark circles. And these didn't help. Wish they did but nope. I'm currently trying a couple of others and if they work, I'll post about them soon :) TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist I've realized that I'm just not a fan of face mists. I'm too paranoid they'll blind me or something. Plus this one smells strong when it hits the face, thereby doubling my paranoia. So I'd rather not use it and I'll refrain from rating as well.

MOROCCANOIL - Treatment Light Moroccan oil has been a staple in my hair routine for almost 10 years now. I definitely feel a difference in my hair when I don’t use it. I apply 2 pumps to my hand and work through wet hair after a shower and then dry as normal. Sometimes when my hair is feeling very dry I will use half a pump and smooth over ends to add some moisture. This product smells amazing the scent is addicting. It hydrates my hair and makes my hair more soft and manageable. It’s been a lifesaver for my dry bleached ends.
THOUGHTS ON OLAPLEX SHAMPOO
OLAPLEX - No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo I’ve been using this product for a year and a half or so. Here are my thoughts on this product: OVERALL OPINION: I have very dark thick curly hair. I got it highlighted a lighter honey blonde color about 6 years ago, and my hair texture has never been the same. It became very course, had so much breakage, and had lost its overall shine. It did not look healthy or feel healthy & I’ve tried so many different shampoos & treatments to try to address all my problems: Paul Mitchell, OGX, Redken, and a few others. Nothing helped. After hearing so many good things about Olaplex as a brand, I decided to try it out for myself. Best hair decision I’ve ever made. I no longer have any breakage [or at least no where near what I had before]. My hair feels and looks healthy. I’m very happy to have discovered this product. USE: I use this every time I wash my hair [about once a week]. It does lather a bit, and a little goes a long way. SCIENCE: Olaplex products contain a compound called bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, which is meant to reconnect disulfide sulfur bonds in the hair. Disulfide bonds are basically two sulfur atoms that link two proteins together. This link determines your hair’s shape & strength,& when that link is damaged with coloring or bleaching, you experience breakage, dullness, etc. This is why Olaplex is marketed as a brand for people with damaged hair due to coloring treatments! The compound mentioned above helps form artificial bonds between the sulfur atoms in your hair, creating an artificial bridge that allows the hair to repair itself through the new disulfide link that is formed. So, this ingredient is what makes Olaplex a brand that is known for bond maintainence & restoration. VALUE: $28 at Sephora for the full size. I’ve spent so much money trying out other [cheaper] brands that didn’t do anything for me. This does all that I need it to & more, so I’m willing to spend that $28. Also, each bottle lasts me about 5 months [washing once a week] so I get a reasonable amount of product for what I’m paying for. I can’t wait to try out more products from this brand, but for now this shampoo satisfies all my hair needs!

Olaplex oil for your hair
A little goes a long way like they say, but for this product as well. I have thin, brittle, frizzy, and dry hair at times. This has helped my frizzy become less frizzy and not so dry! I’ve has this product for months and have so much left. I use a little everyday that I shower my head. It has not only repaired, but strengthened the bonds of my hair. This is also a heat protectant as well! What a plus! OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil
OLAPLEX-No. 7 Bonding Oil
styling oil, increases shine, softness and color vibrancy, minimizes frizz and fly-aways, provides heat protection up to 450 degrees F I have been using this oil for a few months, and omg I’ll always have this in my hair routine. It really does exactly what it says it’s going to do. _____________________________________________ ⭐️performance | full star | noticed results after first use, tested twice without using in routine and shine decreased as well as ends looking frayed . ⭐️texture | full star | super lightweight, blends into hair nicely without leaving hands greasy . ⭐️scent | full star | subtle, but it smells soooo good . ⭐️packaging | no star | non-recyclable plastic, would be much more user friendly with a sprayer or pump ⭐️ingredients | .75 star | unclear on sourcing of some ingredients . ⭐️value | full star | $28 seems steep, but I’ve only used about a fourth of the bottle in six months. I use it every wash, 6-10 drops . .

Moroccanoil never delivered for me, don’t know what’s all the hype about
If you have a look online at reviews about Moroccanoil in general and the treatment for all hair types in particular you will find thousands and thousands of positive reviews. I mean it’s like one of the few beauty products with an almost straight 5 stars rating. I was so seduced by all the hype, I bought it twice, not once. And not only that I spent the money, but I’ve also used it. Now the second bottle is almost empty, and I can tell you that Moroccanoil didn’t deliver for me. I’ve done some research about the brand and, despite what you might tend to believe, Moroccanoil is not a brand from Morocco, but from Israel. More than this, the products manufactured only contain a percentage of Argan oil and the rest is the usual ingredients used in hair care. When I bought them, I thought it’s like 100% pure argan oil. But this isn’t important after all. I got them to get shiny, lustrous, healthy hair that is easy to manage. And I didn’t. I mean, Moroccanoil treatment for all hair types is not a cheap hair product. I had professional haircare products that were more affordable. So, I kinda expected it’d do some magic to my hair. Btw, my hair is not difficult to manage at all, it’s actually pretty good. But you know, a glamorous hairstyle is just so hot! I bought the first bottle after I read online tons of reviews, used it rather quickly as I was pouring more than I should have. It made my hair a bit oily, but at least it was gone soon enough! The other bottle I got after my hair stylist told me it is a product made in hair heaven and it was my fault I didn’t use it right. So, here came the second bottle. I just used a few drops, only on the tips of the hair… No difference once or ever. Just that my hair smelled crazy cool for about 5 minutes after. So, I don’t know what the hype was all about with Moroccanoil made in Israel, it is definitely not for me!
