So I have been such a big fan is Skinceuticals for some time now, however, like most people, I cannot justify continuing to spend over $100 on one product!
So Iām always on the lookout for products that will perform similar to theirs.
My all time favorite product form Skinceuticals is of course, their GOAT serum, SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum

AngeGregoryNo fragrance! However it does have a slight scent from the ferulic acid! (If youāve used products with that before, youāll know what Iām talking about) Itās not strong tho!

I also just want to talk about products in general. I went on a journey this year with my skin because one day I woke up, looked in the mirror, like always & was just disgusted. š
I had texture all over my face & it was there for a reason! I was NOT taking care of my skin, in the least. My old skincare routine was laughable. (Get ready to be horrified) I would only wash my face when I showered, with bar soap, š§¼ & I would VIGOROUSLY rub it to try & ārubā off the texture. š§½Hahaha. š¤¦š»āāļø

Looking back on when I started my journey, to now, I have tried ALOT of different products. š§“š§Ŗšš
Some that I used for a while (& still do) & some that I will never, EVER touch again! š
One thing I learned though, is simple is best. With your products & your routine. I try to use the least amount of items possible & the products that have the best ingredients. ā»ļøā
My current routine is so simple.

At night instead of using Cerave PM, I use:

& honestly, I have seen the quickest & most results since I have simplified! šš»āāļø
Basically, you need to find what works for YOU! & if it takes a year, 5 years, 2 weeks, to do that, thatās okay! Just hang in there & stay consistent! šā°

CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Overnight Mask This is such a luxurious moisturizer. I wear it a few times a week and when I wake up my face is soft and firm. Just a dab will do ya!CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for Body with Zinc Oxide Love Cerve products but this one definitely leaves a cast. Forbid you apply too much you will look absolutely Geisha. Certain I'm well protected, so I save this for a beach or hike day.elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 Goes so smooth and actually feels moisturizing. I love that it has niacinamide and its legion of skin benefits.
ANDALOU NATURALS - Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask I'm a self proclaimed maskaholic; and, this is one of my favorites. Tingles for a few seconds upon application. Reminds me of chemical peels I've had done with a facial.
timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum Don't leave the house without this and my sunscreen. Said to boost effectiveness of sunscreen and contains antioxidants, anti-aging and improve hyperpigmentation.
The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Super plumping. I sometimes mix this with my Retin-A. I've repurchased several times. As soon as this bottle runs out I have The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic which I'm excited to try.
Cos De BAHA - Niacinamide 10% Serum
Another love. Also contains Alpha Atbutin. I apply this after my Vitamin C and before Sunscreen or after a chemical exfoliant or mask (AHA/BHA).

in conclusion, i wont be repurchasing anymore of drunk elephant products because in reality they are just good products... nothing too special ESPECIALLY for the price. they aslo didnāt want to provide information about the percentage of black employees during the Pull Up Or Shut Up movement so yeah. their aesthetic is cute but ive grown out of this phase š

Too much money!
Just finished the SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum and LOVED IT but it breaks the bank...wish I could afford $166 every few months for this. I think my plan is Iām going to try a couple other products and see if they are just as good or if Iām going to have to make the sacrifice in the end.
So Iām going to try MAELOVE - Glow Makerand see how this Vitamin C works and it only cost $27.95! I heard about this one from@Dr.Tomassianand I am very excited to try this one! Iāll let you guys know if I can see a difference when the bottle is done.

Skinceuticals Serum 10
Skinceuticals hold the Duke Antioxidant Patent which led me to believe it would be A) most efficient and B) oxidise at a slower rate than other serums. A 10% concentration also sounds appealing to me - more gentle and something Iād be able to use on a daily basis. I prefer a āless but more frequently approachā with active ingredients.
š INGREDIENTS. Aqua/Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Ascorbic Acid, Glycerin, Triethyl Citrate, Ferulic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate.
š USAGE. Every morning, straight after cleansing. 5-6 drops pressed into face and neck.
š TEXTURE. The lightest Vitamin C serum Iāve tried. Ultra-weightless and feels like nothing going on! You would need to use a hydrating serum with this though, itās definitely not hydrating enough on its own.
šI used this daily for over 12 weeks and slowly but surely.

Antioxidant Dream Serum
SKINCEUTICALS - Phloretin Cf Alongside prescription strength Retin-A, this the most life-changing skin product that Iāve ever used. Iāve been trying to find the perfect antioxidant/vitamin C serum, at any price range, and Phloretin is just that. I was initially going to purchase CE Ferulic but had read reviews preferring Phloretin. I have fair skin during the winter and this brightens it dramatically. This product isntās not too oily at all which is what I usually worry about with my am serums. This is basically your morning orange juice. It protects your skin from all those harmful free radicals and provides your skin with antioxidants. My favorite part is how it protects against hyperpigmentation. Good to buy if an offer is on, you wonāt regret and a bottle typically lasts me 2.5 months using once per day or every 2 days.

Medical Grade!?
Over a month ago @skinceuticalsca sent over these beautiful serums plus their 0.5 retinol for me to use and share with you all! Honestly, I had high expectations knowing these are medical grade products and how highly rated they come.... but they somehow exceeded these high expectations!
I am shocked at how smooth my skin is. That was the first thing I noticed. My skin was so smooth like a babies bottom and the texture was virtually gone. My redness and scarring was half of what it was only two weeks in and the pimples stopped coming!
I know that blemish defence is the main product to thank for my clear skin since itās stopping the acne from forming and then itās clearing up the rough texture and clogs that weāre deep in my skin. Next C E Ferulic is heaven sent. Itās 100% plumping up my skin with the extra collagen production, my skin is brighter and I have a soft look to my skin. Iām not quite glowing as I wish as my skin still suffers dryness, but I know having the antioxidant protection is saving my skin. The discolouration defence is iffy. I was hoping to see my acne scars vanish with it, but maybe I just need to use up the bottle and keep going! Iāve read mixed reviews, but Iām still hopeful.
After a month of just the serums I decided to try the retinol (not pictured) and HOLY GUACAMOLE! My skin was definitely dried out and after a pretty severe stress breakout, it actually brought down a line of cysts on my jaw in two uses. Itās a strong retinol that works quick. I didnāt even have any irritation or flakiness, just some reasonable dryness. Itās a beautiful creamy texture that soaks in nicely and feels nice under my thick night moisturizer.
All in all, I am a HUGE SkinCeuticals fan now. I have since purchased many other products and I continue to be shocked at just how good and worth it they are. I have the best skin of my life despite life throwing me curve balls and trying to ruin it.

Ok people!! Itās time to start spreading the love and sharing the products that have changed our skin for the better.
The first product I would like to highlight is the PETER THOMAS ROTH - Potent-C Vitamin C Power Serum
This baby is pretty $$$ (about $100CAD) so I have only purchased it during winter months for the past 2 years. With daily use, after only 5 days, I, without fail, start to receive un-fished-for compliments about my skin.

It definitely smells like a campfire but this is the natural smell of Vitamin-C that is usually masked by harmful chemicals added to other VC serums.
The PETER THOMAS ROTH - Potent-C Vitamin C Power Serum can easily be introduced into your current daily routine to give yourself that pregnancy glow that might even throw your parents for a loop at the next family gathering ;)
