liquid vs solid highlighters✨✨
hello everyone! today i am comparing two similar face/body highlighters with two different consistencies! these are both great products but they do have different purposes. to start, the liquid glow oil from sol body in the shade “platinum” is a beautiful light gold shimmer. this color is best for pale people, but they make glow oils in many different colors. you can use it for your face, even though it works better on your body. the shimmers are very fine yet very sparkly, and the catch the sunlight. its like a very fine glitter. its very easy to spread around, but can rub off on clothes easier than the powder ones✨ the powder highlighter is equally stunning. its also a white- gold shade thats better for pale people. it looks “wet” on the skin, and lasts longer but is harder to spread. either way, both highlighters are beautiful, though powder is easier to use on the face! lemme know what you think and dont forget to follow and cheer!❤️ SOL BODY - SOL Glow Oil e.l.f. - Retro Paradise Multi-Dimensional Face & Body Shimmer
aesthetic succulent and garden collection!🌵🍇🌹
hello everyone! today i am showcasing an amazing collection from colourpop! yall probably think i work for them by now because of how much i post about them, but im just a huge fan of color, themes, packaging, glitter and shimmer shades, and affordability!😊💖 so this collection is $135. BUT, it comes with 19 items total! it has 4 pressed powder blushes, 4 jelly much shadows, 4 lux lip oils, a palette, a sol body glow oil, 2 fourth ray beauty facial sprays, and three scrunchies!!😍 lets start with the palette! the palette is really gorgeous and all the colors i have played with so far i have really loved!🌸 i have done many looks with it and ive found it very versatile. if you are more a natural person, it works great, and if you like glam and creativity like me, this is also for you! unfortunately, im unsure of how this would work for darker skin tones. if you have deeper skin and love more natural and light makeup, then you might like this! but if you like glam and have deeper skin, i would recommend the all that palette, the mulan palette, the disney palettes, and the bare necessities palette! they are all by colourpop:) now to the blushes! so these blushes are really great! they’re actually super pigmented and look amazing. i especially love the purple one! ive never had a purple blush so its new to me🦄 these blushes also have shimmer so the lip oils feel amazing, but they have almost no color unless you apply A LOT. they are really nourishing, but you can barely see any color. i was kinda disappointed because i was looking foward to the purple one especially. i feel like it they made them much darker it would have shown up better! the jelly much shadows are a win, though. they’re really pigmented and are very... jelly like😂. they apply with a glittery finish, and the one called “sage bundle” has a blue shift to it! apply these with care, because they dont really blend and are meant as a lid topper. the glow oil is one of my favorite products! this one is a little dark, but it doesnt change my skin color too much. it has beautiful gold glitters in it and i feel like a million bucks wearing it✨ the facial sprays... i dont know if they do anything 😂 obviously skin care products take a while to work. one of the sprays has shimmer in it that kinda makes my skin glow... so😂 the scruncies are really nice! they are velvety and nice and big, which is great because i have super thick hair! so thats it! lemme know if you will be buying anything from this collection and dont forget to follow and cheer! follow my insta @aesthetemilyy #CheriePartner COLOURPOP - Garden Variety Eyeshadow Palette COLOURPOP - Jelly Much Shadow COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush COLOURPOP - Lux Lip Oil Fourth Ray - Misty Morning Face Mist Mini Kit SOL BODY - SOL Glow Oil
I look like a glowing fairy 🧚🏻♀️✨
So once again I have given into my Colourpop addiction and bought this SOL BODY - Shimmering Dry Oil in the Pink Champagne 🥂 shade. I had pretty high expectations when I ordered but I’d like to start by saying I had no idea how big this bottle was! For $14, I assumed it was the same size as the Fourth Ray Matcha Face Milk (another Colourpop partner that I am in love with) which I find a bit overpriced only because of how small it is, yet it lasts forever! I shall make a post for that product another day and digress! Why I ❤️ This Product: Not only is this product a pretty shade of pink (and glows that way in the sun), but the glitter ✨ in it is PERFECT (check the second slide). I titled this perfectly by saying I looked like a fairy (or maybe Edward Cullen in the sun)? The glitter pieces aren’t huge and blend into my skin amazingly. I feel extra smooth after applying. Definitely like a full body highlighter and I’m all for it💕 My Dislikes: While the product is very glowy and exactly what I wanted, the only thing I seem to dislike about it is how easily transferable it is. I ended up with sparkles all over my hands after applying and even on my leg. I highly suggest using this product when you don’t expect to be wearing a large amount of clothing (preferably at the beach or when wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt).
SOL BODY-Shimmering Dry Oil
Ultra matte lipsticks for $9. These covergirl lipsticks are perfect if you are looking for matte lipsticks that don’t go on dry and that do not crack and dry your lips. These lipsticks go on velvety and dry down but don’t make your lips feel like they are cracking and bleeding. My two favourite shades are Soloist and The Real Thing. Soloist is a burnt orange shade and The Real Thing is the perfect red shade for all skin tones. The first picture is the shade Soloist, the second one is The Real Thing, the third one is a swatch of both colours and the last picture is a picture of the lipstick bullets. Do you really need eye primer?👀
MILANI - MILANI Eyeshadow Primer If you have trouble blending your eyeshadow and you use concealer as an eyeshadow base, you should buy yourself an eyeshadow primer and notice the difference in blending. With concealers, it is more like your eyeshadow is moving around your eyes. An eyeshadow primmer would help the overall makeup look waxy and its not going to let any oil through. Even if you have your mascara smudging underneath your eyes or just your eye liner smudging underneath. You should consider using an eyeshadow base or eyeshadow primer but not a concealer even you are not wearing eye shadow. A eyeshadow base really holds your eyeshadow in place. You can get that fresh and clear overall look of you makeup. Because that’s going to stop the oil from coming through and mess up you whole makeup. Honestly the best eye shadow primer ever. I have oily eyelids and this is the only one that keeps my eyeshadow in place but also doesn’t look dry on my lids. This primer keeps my shadow in tip-top condition for atleast 10 hours! I purchased from sephora and definately recommend this to anyone who wants to keep eyeshadow on longer or has oily lids. The product is also hydrating for my eyelids enforcing a smooth application and surface for the rest of your eye makeup. It comes in this tiny tube. i think my last bottle gave me a years worth of application with daily use A little goes a long way and makes your eye-shadow stay in place all day. it’s very easy to apply and blend. Also it helps you build up your eyeshadow for max color pop! recommend this to anyone it works wonders.

Product Letdown: ABH Eyeshadow Primer
I’ve been trying to find an eyeshadow primer to keep the product from creasing and this sample of ABH’s hasn’t been my favorite. The formula is too thick for my lids and I find that it doesn’t blend as seamlessly into the skin as promised. You have to be very careful about how much you use.ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Eye Primer

Hit or Miss? Will I Buy this Eyeliner Brush Again?
Lining the eyes is probably the trickiest step of the makeup routine. It can really work miracles with the eyes, but if you mess this step up, it’s likely that you’ll have to do everything again from the beginning. Therefore it’s important to find the right eyeliner tools for yourself. I was really excited when I received the Real Techniques 311 Fine Liner Brush in the Enhanced Eye Set, because, hey, who hasn’t heard a few nice things about this brand on the internet? I tried a few of their products myself and couldn’t say they weren’t good value for money. The Fine Liner Brush costs about $6, which is quite affordable compared with other brushes you can find on the market that have a similar reputation. The synthetic, hand-cut bristles are super soft, which I like because they don’t irritate my sensitive eyelids at all. The brush is perfectly sized for working on the eye, and the pink, aluminium handle is just the right weight when held in hand to provide the leverage and control I need. It’s marketed as the ultimate tool for precision application of liquid or cream eyeliner, and I do find it work well with my ColourPop cream eye shadow too. However, a few issues appeared after I used the brush a couple of times. Although I must admit it’s durable, easy to clean and don’t shed, I noticed a few stray bristles after several wash. I also wish the brush was sturdier so that it wouldn’t bend easily when in use. After all, I guess I’m more of a pencil eyeliner kind of girl. Bottom line: the brush is good quality overall but requires quite a bit techniques to make the most use of it. I probably won’t repurchase it, but why not give it a try if you are a gel/cream eyeliner fan?
