Cool-tone lipstick recommended for warm complexion!
The GIVENCHY Rouge Interdit Marble Lipstick is one of GIVENCHY's limited edition with only two shades. I bought shade No.25 Rouge Revelateur. GIVENCHY is so good at product branding and package design; this Marble Lipstickjust pushes it further to an even higher level.I can’t tell you how much I love this case and the pattern on the lipstick! Introducingan intriguing design on the lipstick where the luminous red and black melted and swirled together. No two lipsticks would share the same pattern, and each one is unique. It's just irresistible! The pigment magically adapts to your skin tone by reacting with the lip’s pH, which makes the resultcolor very dependent. For me, the color is inrose red close to violet, cooler than I imagined based on its appearance. Unexpectedly matches well with my warm complexion, and I especially like it when the color naturally faded away to a lighter, softer tint.Itcomes out with a dewy finish and is not dry at all, doesn't have to worry about concentrating lines on lip. HOURGLASS's Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick in the shade #at night has a similar violet, cherry-like red. Yet this one is slightly warmer. Specially designed with a refillable cartridge, its slim body makes it easier for details or creating edged contour. The texture is quite special, almost gel-like, and it gives a satinfinish more than never. At first, I don't like it onmy skin because I was in bad lip condition, and the texture of this lipstick accentuates it. However, when I tried it later someday, I‘mjust so in love with the smooth and satin finish it appears on my lip. The color is rich and has great coverage. Quite long-lasting as well!

Hourglass lipstick looks amazing on your eyes!
I already loved Hourglass' foundation stick, so when I saw this I knew I had to try it. HOURGLASS - Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick First of all I LOVE the packaging! It reminds me of cigarette holders from the 40's-50's. It's so chic. The formula is amazing, it's not drying for the lips at all. The color Brick Red is the one I was immediately drawn to. It's such a beautiful pure, deep red that is so intensely pigmented and beautiful. The color also lasts quite a while on the lips! I didn't think I'd love this more than I love their vanish stick foundation, but I think I do! Ok, ok, you got me, I love them both the same. They're both insanely amazing products. This is literally the best lipstick I've ever used and I've tried a lot of high-end brands, trying to find one I loved. I'm not a lipstick girl, I prefer gloss, so it says a lot that I'm giving this 5 stars. Even if I scrub my lips before lipstick, my lips usually end up flaking under the lipstick and it looks horrible. This one I had no issues. The color last for several hours, even after eating. I have noticed my lipsticks bleeding lately, but this one doesn't bleed and I don't need liner. I also finally found my perfect "my lips but better" shade in I've Kissed. Only con is the smaller amount of product but I've never used a full lipstick anyway. This time I use my favorite color At Night as eyeshadow for a try,and guess what,it was super gorgeous! This make-up makes me look all tender and feminine. And it is applied totally well on my skin because it’s moist enough! Thanks Hourglass for this amazing, dangerously glamorous product!
Amazing Lipsticks I Wish I Could Buy In Every Shade💄💄💄
Hourglass HOURGLASS - Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick is so cool. You can buy just the lipstick refill and I really love the retro packaging. Its sleek gold applicator is gorgeous and it's easy to carry around, but it's quite expensive weighing only at 0.9g. That's why I gave only 4 stars for rating. The texture is neither dry nor overly moisturizing. It doesn't dry on the lips, so I'd say it's quite comfortable to use and since it's scent-free, it's reassuring to use, but it's not very long-lasting. 💄I've Been - Deep Rose Brown This is a popular medium-plummy brown shade, and is suitable for all skin tones for fall and winter use. 💄At Night - Brick Red This is my favorite shade. It's so flattering whether it's applied thin or thick! It's a medium-dark, brick red shade which makes your skin look radiant. I really recommend this shade. 💄I Can't Live Without - Red Currant It's a medium-dark plum, violet-toned shade for summer use but I don't really like it.
NOT EVEN WORTH THE SALE PRICE!
I recently bought a Givenchy My Mini Lip Duo Interdit Rouge and Gloss in black on sale from Sephora at $18 (original $25). These are meant to enhance your lips’ natural shade, not to look black, btw. To me this was not even worth the $18! The color looks kind of nice on my lips (let’s be honest I don’t have a huge canvas to work with in the lip department 😆, but never the less!). And mixed together you get a nice glossy look. But, that nice color and gloss wear off in about two minutes, even without a lot of drinking, eating or talking. I’ll still give this two stars, because the packaging is lovely (of course! It’s Givenchy!) and the color enhancing is kind of nice. But I would not recommend unless you have money to burn. FYI, I’m not wearing any other makeup, because my face is still sore from my run in with a nasty SPF yesterday 🥴!GIVENCHY - Rouge Interdit Vinyl Color Enhancing Lipstick GIVENCHY - Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick
Lip Gloss or Lipstick?
CHANEL Rouge Coco Gloss Moisturizing Glossimer - 754 Opulence This is a lip gloss from CHANEL with a very beautiful colour. I really like this strawberry red colour and it has many shiny glitters within the gloss, which makes the colour even prettier. The finish is medium-to-high coverage, indeed ultra-shiny and glossy, and leaves lips visibly plump and smooth. However, the texture is horrible. It’s very sticky just like melt candies. The gloss feels heavy and thick on my lips and that’s why it makes lips look plump and smooth And I don’t feel being moisturized at all. The applicator doesn’t work for me. It’s big and round makes me hard to apply the gloss precisely. BOBBI BROWN Nourishing Lip Color Oil-Infused Shine - Claret I like this lipstick about its shade and also texture. This lipstick has a warm-toned rosy red, which gives a very elegant and gentle impression and I think this kind of colour works for every skin tones and also be a good choice for daily use as it’s very natural. The texture is very creamy and nourishing. It is more like a lip tint balm but the colour can be built up. It feels good on my lips, hydrating and not too sticky, and also looks moist and shimmering. It’s also easy to apply at any time even without a mirror. I would say the colour and finish of CHANEL gloss is very impressive, but I don’t like the texture. Instead, I give BOBBI BROWN credit for its comprehensive performance.

Bold lips and nails🔥💄❤️
I love me some orange reds, and the BITE - Lush Fruit Lip Gloss is a great pigmented gloss that layers nicely on MAYBELLINE - Color Sensational Creamy Mattes Lipstick in the shade Coral Crave. Also digging the #Ginger + Liz - Nail polish in Pool It Together[products]#[FourStars] because it matches perfectly!

The Perfect Nude Pink!
I’m a sucker for a nude pink and I had been meaning to try the bareMinerals - Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipstick so I ordered one in the color Swag (which is a pretty cringy name tbh). Despite the name, the shade is a really pretty muted pink and inspired me to do my makeup for the first time in forever. The application was pretty smooth and it dried down to a very comfortable matte. I can see this being a very wearable everyday lipstick, and the shade is super flattering, especially if you’re close to my complexion. So, if you’re looking for a new liquid lipstick, I highly recommend!

PeriPera Ink Airy Velvet Lip Tint
peripera - Ink Airy Velvet Lip Tint This Lip tint is as it sounds: a very airy, velvet, matte lip tint that feels lightweight on the lips. I was hoping this was going to be a more mauve sort of my lips but better shade, but it’s way more pink than I care for. I use it occasionally but I’d go with a different color next time. It does last for a a while but I’ve never really done a full wear test because I’m lazy with my makeup and as long as it fades naturally then I don’t care and I add lip balm. 🤷🏼♀️

Burgundy red matte lipsticks: Chanel vs Colourpop
Today I want to share two of my favorite lipsticks, and they are both burgundy red with a little berry tone inside. I bought several colors in both collections because I love the matte formulas of both. Let’s see the swatches of both. I feel like the Chanel one has more rosy and berry tones, and the Colourpop one is more like a brick red with a little berry tone. But they look really similar on lips and let me talk about more details. Let’ start with the luxury one. The Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick #116 Extreme is the color used for Poster shooting when launched at the end of 2018. The price is $38 for 3.4g. This extreme matte lipstick looks very dry, but actually, it features a non-drying texture that glides smoothly onto lips with intense, long-wearing color. As the Chanel website says, it is created with a combination of natural Rice Powder and a unique antioxidant complex —composed of Sweet Almond Oil, Sappan Wood and Vitamin E, which helps to protect lips from external aggressors. Besides, the matte black version of the signature click case is really low profile. COLOURPOP - Lippie Stix Then it turns to the Colourpop Lippie Stix #Goldie, which is only $7 for 1g, meaning if they are both 3.4g, Goldie is 40% cheaper than the Chanel one. The formula feels similar to #116 on lips, delivering an ultra-matte finish with intense color with skin-loving ingredients such as mango, avocado, shea butter and Vitamin E. The shape is also nice because it is quite thin and easy to create a sharp lipliner with it. The only thing I dislike is that it is lightweight, and I always lost them somewhere so that I had to repurchase several times of this collection. Overall, I think Goldie is a great dupe for Chanel #116, no matter the shades or the formulas. And you can choose one of them depending on your need.
Long Lasting Matte Lipstick For Only $10
This liquid lipstick is my newest obsession. I’ve used this off & on for over a month now, after finding it at CVS for only $10.00. The pointy doe foot like applicatioer helps the lipstick glide over your lips for a easy & precise application. The consistency is thick but creamy & goes on smooth. It does feel a little sticky at first but only until It drys, leaving a flawless matte look. After drying it doesn’t budge, smudge, flake or transfer. They staying power of this lipstick is amazing. It survied throughout the day with drinking & meals & well into the night without fading or having to reapply. Unlike a lot of matte lipsticks it doesn’t leave your lips dry either. This line has lots of colors to choose from, I chose #65 seductress. It’s a perfect neutral, but rich mauve color that goes great with my skin tone & is perfect for a everyday wear. I give this 5/5 ⭐️. I think anyone would fall in love with this line of liquid matte lipsticks & for only $10 it’s worth it. I definitely will purchasing this again.❤️ MAYBELLINE - SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick
