Vitamin C serum
I have been looking for a serum for awhile, until I found this little guy. I have been using this for almost 8 months now and is totally hooked!! My skin was the softest and dewiest it had ever been. Without makeup my face looks great and thanks to the new smoothness, makeup went on so well. I love how this smells - very citrusy and has very slight hints of ginger . The product is heavy and is more like a oil than a serum. Now , because of this I am only giving it a 4 star!! My one recommendation is to apply this at night before bed because your face is left a little sticky. An added bonus to this is when you wake up in the morning, your skin will be baby soft and ready to take on the day!Sweet CHEF - Ginger + Vitamin C Serum Shot

Vitamin C on a Budget 💸☀️
So as mentioned in my last post, Sweet Chef is the sister company of Glow Recipe. You get some great formulas, for a pretty great price! This was one of the first vitamin C serums I tried a few years back.. and honestly it was pretty good! Much like the vitamin A serum I just reviewed in a previous post, this is a great serum for makeup and skincare beginners! Being able to start a good routine with some low cost products.. honestly is such a great start! This is not a product I would recommend to anyone who is well versed in the world of skincare.. I don’t think you’ll be too happy with this product. I went through the product quick, using it every morning. This is good considering it doesn’t have an airtight seal and the glass is clear.. causing the product to go bad pretty quickly.
Sweet Chef Ginger + Vitamin C Serum Shot
Sweet CHEF - Ginger + Vitamin C Serum Shot I absolutely LOVE this serum!!! I was using HONEST - Vitamin C Radiance Serum and I was not noticing an improvement in my skin as much as I would’ve liked to. I switched to using this product in the AM so I can still use my retinol at night. It makes my skin feel so smooth and look bright. 👉🏻This serum has anti-inflammatory ginger to help neutralize environmental aggressors and revives dull skin with antioxidant rich vitamin C. I highly recommend this product to anyone who struggles with dark spots or keeping your skin radiant!! Like any serum from Sweet Chef, it lives up to it’s expectations. 💵This serum is $19.99 at Target.
I love this retinol
. I started using this retinol every other night after getting recommendations from @theinkeylist and o boy this stuff is working amazingly well on my skin! . . The texture is so light weight and absorbs into skin beautifully also my skin was visibly brighter and I was focusing more into my smile line ( as I am v expressive 🙈) and I feel they looks minimized . Also this retinol is super gentle and I think it’s great for my age skin to use and get maximum benefit me! . Love it! I recommend it! 🖤🤍 . THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum

Brightening serum + oil in one
The Fourth Ray - Raydiate Vitamin C Elixir is such a cool idea to me: as you can see, there are two layers to the product, and you gently shake the bottle to combine the serum and the oil together. This claims to enhance skin radiance, and while I’ve only used it a few times, I really love the mositurizing texture from the oil—I think this might also soothe potential mild irritation from the vitamin C. While there are many differences between the two products, the Biossance squalane + vitamin c oil has a similar idea (a moisturizing oil with the brightening properties of vitamin c), so if you’re turned off by the price point of the Biossance one, I suggest trying this one! It also has turmeric in it, which is a great anti-inflammatory, and hyaluronic acid, which is great for adding and retaining moisture.

Sweetchef Ginger + Vitamin C Serum Shot
Lets talk about everyone’s brightening bff Vitamin C serum !!! 🍊✨ - I haven’t really tried that many vitamin c serums because after I tried the Mario Badescu one (its trash dont recommend) and had the most awful reaction ever I was basically much scarred from ever using one again. Also a lot of vit c serums are pretty darn pricy and I haven’t gotten myself to actually go out and treat myself to a good one. I picked the Ginger + Vitamin C Serum shot by @sweetchefskin (glow recipes sister brand hi ily) from Target and have been using it consistently in the am for a few weeks - This serum is only $20 which really isn’t bad for a face serum and I have really been enjoying it so far! The serums texture feels a bit tacky at first but it absorbed into my skin so well and it was easy to layer on all my other products. The smell is super subtle/refreshing and not overpowering whatsoever. There wasn’t really any immediate results which I didn’t expect but overtime it has helped with some hyperpigmentation and evening out my skin. My only big downside would have to be the dropper. It was sort of a pain to work with/ product for out, but it wasn’t that big of a deal for me. I wouldn’t say this serum is anything intense so it’s definitely a good vitamin c serum for beginners that wont break the bank! - What are your holy grail Vitamin C serums? I need to try some new ones out 🧡
I feel like this amazing serum would be loved by all skin types! One of the few serums ai can use in all seasons and under makeup. Hydrates with no oily feel and absorbs like lightening!

Caudalie serum, is it worth it? ✨
This serum is actually pretty great. Its great for sensitive skin and it has made my skin really really soft. I finally finished this serum after 7 months of use. Some things I’ve noticed with my skin over several months is definitely more hydrated, soft and a bit brighter. 1 week after using: I’ve felt my skin feel soft. About a month in of using the serum my face has felt way more hydrated and plump. I did notice it getting a bit brighter and even. A couple months in of using it I’ve seen my face a bit more brighter. I’ve had small sun spots on my face and they have gotten lighter and less pigmented over months. It’s a serum I’d recommend but the price point is a bit up there, it’s $79 for 1oz and $114 for 1.7 oz. if you have no problem with spending that much as a treat for yourself then you should give this a try since it has helped me.
CAUDALIE-Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution
Hello 🌸 Today I wanna share a Vitamin C product from Korea. It’s new on the US market so it isn’t popular. First of all, I know this serum because its appearance on Refinery magazine with a promotion that this serum bottle is only with 9.99$ with code RF29. And as always, something that is too good to be true, I doubt on it. But then I saw it a lot in allure box review on youtube by chance with many good reviews so I learnt about that. Then it turns out that I want to buy and try it because some magazines like vogue allure or even NY times are talking about this brand and giving compliments (even some articles talk about other products of this brand) but to me, it’s a good sign that I can trust this brand and give them a try. So after trying for like 10 times, I I don’t get any irritations. It’s like an oil serum but its texture is light and absorbed quickly after I put on my face. After using it for a while, I see my face does get brighter a bit. Even my aunt, her skin is so sensitive but this product’s still good on her skin. One thing I have to remind you that because its quickly absorbed texture, if you have a very dry skin like me, make sure you put moisturizer after that or it will dry out your skin. My aunt’s skin is not dry, so she says she still feels hydrated on her skin. And if you use this morning, remember to put the sunscreen too when going out. Actually I want to use all of the bottle then I’ll write a review on that to see if it make my skin tone even or not. But because tomorrow is the last day it’s on sale with code RF29 with only 9.99$ so I want to let you know before it’s gone. To be honest, this is a good price to check out and try it. Last week, I just bought 10 bottle for me, my mom and two aunts to use it. Also it also provides a promotion to sell cleanser with only 1$... I bought it already because that’s a good deal... never seen any cleanser with only 1$ before 🤪 Hope this can help you. FYI: some highlight ingredients: Active vitamin c, peptide complex, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide acid as I remember.
