Concerns: Acne, blackheads, pores and dark spots
Battle of the patches!
I have suffered from acne since puberty. I wish pimple patches had been around when I was a teen! I love them and have been on a personal quest to try as many varieties as I can until I find the BEST pimple patch. These are the 4 brands I’ve tried thus far. Based on my experience I have ranked the patches from best to worst. Ratings are based on how well the patches adhered to the skin, how well they stayed on overnight, the absorbency and how noticeable the patches were ( in case I wanted to wear them during the day). 1. Rael - MIRACLE PATCH 2. COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch 3. HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewell 4. AVARELLE - Acne Cover Patch

Mask Monday Review: charcoal detox sheet mask
yesto - Detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask I picked this inexpensive sheet mask up at our local grocery store for under $5. After cleansing my face during my shower I applied the mask. As with many sheet masks the hardest part is unfolding the mask without ripping it. Once I got the mask unfolded it was easy to apply. It stayed put throughout the 10 minutes recommended on the package. After removing the mask I massaged the remaining product gently into my face. The mask itself had little odor and gave my face a nice cooling sensation with no burning or tingling. My skin did appear a little red after I removed the mask but this went away in a relatively short period of time. Overall, this mask is a good value for the price.

Visible improvement in JUST. ONE. USE. 🙌
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution After seeing multiple posts about this product I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I must say that my experience with this product confirms the hype. It tingles when you apply it and looks like you covered your face in berry juice ( some people say it looks like blood ). I left the product on my face for 8 minutes, which was 2 minutes less than the recommended 10 minutes. I chose to do this as it was my first time using the product and I wanted to err on the side of caution. After rinsing the product off with lukewarm water I was shocked to see visible improvement in the appearance of the enlarged pores on my nose and the rest of my T-zone. Two days later and I’m still seeing visible improvement. ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful makeup remover/pre-cleanser
GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Combination Skin I recently added this product to my PM routine and I am loving it! I was using makeup wipes previously and this works just as well, if not better! I love that it’s formulated for those of us with skin on the oily side too. I have been using it as a makeup remover and pre-cleanser at night. I could see using it to cleanse my skin in the AM if I’m running late and don’t have time to shower. ❤️

Worst. Face sunscreen. Ever. 🧟♀️
CeraVe - Hydrating Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 50 I was so hopeful when I purchased this product due to hearing a lot of good reviews about this brands other products. This was the worst face sunscreen I’ve used! It was thick, goopy and left the worst white cast I’ve experienced all over my face with the exception of my still normal looking eyes. The white cast coupled with my already fair complexion left me with the complexion of a corpse. I tried to rub it in after it sat on my face for a while, however it pilled and there were still visible white flecks of the product in my pores. I ended up using my micellar water to remove the product and opted to just stay indoors, out of the sun instead!
