The Ordinary first time use ✨BEFORE & AFTER✨

AW728738
I decided to order The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
since there was such hype going on throughout TikTok. I think I need to use this product more than once for my clogged pores to really clear out. But it does left my skin feeling soft after a one time use. As instructed, I left it on for 10 minutes. It stung quite a bit for the first 20 seconds. But afterwards it was fine, I couldn’t feel a thing. I washed it off after 10 minutes with lukewarm water. My skin felt softer and smoother. So I think this product does work. But will probably need to be used for at least 5 times to see results of clogged pores being cleared out.

Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines pt. 4
Hey ya’ll! In part 4 of Reviewing My Followers Skincare Routines we’re reviewing @Raks and @juliachristine’s skincare routines. Starting with @Rakswho reached out to me via Cherie message because she started skincare about a year ago because of her upcoming wedding. She starts by cleansing with theThursday Plantation - Tea Tree Face Wash Foam which costs $8.99 for 5.1 fl oz. This cleanser is very basic. It has tea tree oil, and eucalyptus oil. My issue is with the eucalyptus oil, which is a very irritating essential oil right up there with lemon oil and peppermint oil. If this doesn’t irritate your skin then it’s a great cleanser, but I can’t recommend it to those with sensitive skin. Then she goes in with 4 serums. First is thepura d'or - 20% Vitamin C Serum which costs $14.99 for 4 fl oz. This is a really good serum. It has aloe vera juice, glycerin, jojoba oil, and argan oil which are hydrating ingredients, and then it has hylaronic acid, retinol, and Vitamin C. I love it! Then she uses#The Ordinary - Nicinamide Serum[products]#[FiveStars] which costs $5.90 for 1 fl oz. We’ve talked a lot about this serum, it’s very good. Next is the#Tree Of Life - Hylaronic acid serum[products]#[TwoStars] which costs $10.95 for 1 fl oz. I don’t like this serum. It started off good with hylaronic acid, aloe vera juice, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C, but it contains way too many Essential oils and irritating extracts. And her final serum is theSkinMedica - LYTERA 2.0 Pigment Correcting Serum which costs $130.90 for 2 fl oz, which is very expensive. This is not worth the price. It has nicinamide and glycerin, and then some not very researched acids. I don’t recommend continuing use of this serum. Then to moisturize she goes in with theOLAY - Regenerist Regenerating Day Cream which costs $29.99 for 1.7 fl oz. I don’t like this moisturizer. Let’s start with some positives. It has nicinamide, glycerin, and Vitamin B3. Now it has a lot of bad ingredients also. It has Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which is a harsh cleansing agent, as well as fragrance being the 6th ingredient. The she uses a Neutrogena sunscreen, and occasionally usesThe Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution which costs $7.20 for 1 fl oz. This is a great exfoliant. I think @Raks is using too many serums. I would stick to only the Pura D’or and The Ordinary serum, and ditch the other two. Keep the cleanser, and maybe try a different moisturizer. You asked for mineral sunscreen reccomendations for dark skin tones that don’t have a white cast, so I got you girl! I have light skin, but I did some research and I’d recommend the#First Aid Beauty - Weightless Mineral SPF 30[products]#[FiveStars] which costs $34 for 1.5 fl oz, and the #Biossance - Squalane Zinc Sheer SPF 30[products]#[FiveStars] which costs $30 for 1.7 fl oz. Both of these have minimal white cast, and Skincare by Hyram recommends them. Next is @juliachristine’s night routine. She starts off by cleansing with the #Vanicream - Unscented Gentle Cleanser[products]#[ThreeStars] witch costs $8.99 for 8 fl oz. This a nice basic cleanser with glycerin. Next she uses the#OBAGI - Tretinoin 0.025% Cream[products]#[TwoStars] which costs $84 for .7 fl oz. This cream has tretinoin which is a Vitamin A derivative which can treat acne, as well as retinol which also Vitamin A. I don’t think it’s worth the price, but it’s okay. Next she uses the #The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%[products]#[FourStars] which costs $7.99 for 1 fl oz. Along with azelaic acid, it has dimethicone which is a great moisturizer for dry skin. Next she uses theCeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin which costs $17.99 for 15 fl oz. Y’all know I love this product! Finally she finishes off with theVERSED - ZERO-G Smoothing Eye Cream witch costs $17.99 for .5 fl oz. Eye cream is definitely not necessary but this one is great! It has glycerin, algae extract, and olive oil which are hydrating, along with shea butter and a blend of peptides which can help firm the skin and increase collagen production which can help reduce fine lines around the eyes. Overall @juliachristine your routine looks great! That’s it for this post please cheer for this post if you liked it, comment your opinions on these products, and follow me for similar content. Upcoming posts include a 1 month Curology review and unnecessary skincare steps you don’t need. -Mae

SECOND PEELING SOLUTION TREATMENT
SECOND PEELING SOLUTION TREATMENT
So This is my second peeling solution using The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and because I recently had a break out I felt it was best to use this to refresh my skin while I make the efforts to clear it up. As you can see I still have a few pimples but over all my break out has gotten better and mostly flattened out besides the two pimples near my chin. I only left the mask on for 8 minutes because the last time I used it I left it on for 6 minutes (NEVER MORE THAN 10 MINUTES) I hope to see great results through out the week while i try to keep up with my skin care routine. BEST👏🏽PEEL👏🏽EVER
BEST👏🏽PEEL👏🏽EVER
This is one peel that I would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone who would listen. Such amazing results in just two weeks. My skin looks smoother, and plump after only using it for two weeks. It seems to be slowly helping fade my dark spots as well. Although it did purge my skin for a week, I did hear that it sometimes can purge your skin for longer and can break some people out as well, so be on the lookout for that, and if the purging goes on for more than 3 weeks, I would recommend stopping it’s usage. I use it once a week to decongest my skin and use it as a chemical peel. It does burn a tiny bit for 30-40 seconds but nothing intolerable. The key to using it is using SUNSCREEN after!! DO NOT SKIP SUNSCREEN AFTER USING IT. It’ll do you more harm than good. It is an acid peel after all, and the sun likes nothing more than attacking vulnerable skin, so please please don’t forget to use SPF if you use this product.

Super strong peel- not for the faint of heart
Super strong peel- not for the faint of heart
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Perfect for halloween, this peel has achieved fame for it's blood red appearance and it's strength. At 30% AHA and 2% BHA, this is the strongest concentration I've found. The instructions state to use it for only 10 minutes, and this also contains a studied tasmanian pepperberry derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use, which gives it it's crazy red color. This product deeply exfoliates the skin and improves brightness and radiance. Personally, I found it a drop too harsh for my skin, and my skin isn't sensitive. Baby facial by Drunk Elephant is 25% AHA and has less of a burn going on. This certainly left my skin feeling very, very smooth and radiant after, but the stinging upon application was a bit much for me. I would rebuy this, but I prefer the texture and less sting from Baby Facial. The price of this is unbeatable - $7.20 for a 30ml bottle. You do need to use a bit of this each time but I would think this would last at least 3 months if you used it once a week. I will rate this 4/5 stars. It loses a star because I think it would be just as effective if it was a little bit gentler. The price makes this a must try - if you don't like it, it's only $7 lost. If you have any open / cut skin, or sensitive skin, this is definitely not for you.

Deciem The Ordinary AHA + BHA Peeling Solution
Deciem The Ordinary AHA + BHA Peeling Solution
This The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a peeling mask and is one of the strongest (in terms of chemical exfoliation) skincare products I’ve ever seen or tried! It’s supposed to help enhance your skin’s appearance by fighting blemishes and improving skin texture. I’ve used this product several times now over the course of a few months because I can only use it about once a week or else I’d be over-exfoliating and risking damaging my skin's natural barrier. In fact, that's the main reason I took off one star and gave it a 4/5 rating: I think this product is WAY too strong for the average person, especially when the directions say to leave on the skin for 10 mins. The average consumer may not know that this is meant for seasoned acid users only and could wreak havok on their skin if they are not accustomed to using strong chemical exfoliants. Nowhere in the directions does it say to rinse off immediate if you experience painful stinging or burning or to just not use if you have never used acids in skincare before. The Ordinary's website does have a lil warning, but I don't see on on either Sephora's or Ulta's website, not to mention when buying in store. I enjoy this product because my skin is accustomed to using strong chemical exfoliants, but even I can only use it once a week and it even starts to sting a little if I leave it on for over 5 minutes! Another con of this product is that it looks like you've rubbed blood all over your face while you've got it on... Not exactly the look I EVER am going for lol, and I think most people would agree. The texture/consistency of the product just feels like a standard watery serum; I tried to show it dripping from the dropper in the photos I included but it's so watery that it drips too fast to capture on camera; it's not really thick or viscous at all. The really great thing about this product, though, is that it makes strong acids accessible and affordable to the average consumer since it's only $7.20 USD per 1 fl oz of product (on Sephora's website)

Another The Ordinary Chemical Peel Review :) !
Another The Ordinary Chemical Peel Review :) !
I’ve had this chemical peel by The Ordinary just sitting around for quite some time now & have been waiting for the perfect time to try it out . I followed the directions to the T ! After I showered, I made sure my face was dry & to leave this on NO longer than 10 minutes . Side note : I’m super pale , really haven’t had much of a summer 😂 I experienced a slight burning but nothing unbearable, it really depends on how sensitive your skin is . I’ll attach before and after pictures . I don’t really see much of a difference, it may have brightened my face a bit . The main skin problems I have are enlarged pores, and a combination of oily/dry skin . I will continue to use this to see more long term results 🤗 . I do recommend this product, ONLY if you believe your skin can handle it . Follow the directions of course ⏱ Any product recommendations for my skin I’m open to hear, thanks ✨

4 YEARS w/ HYPE PRODUCT (READ BEFORE BUYING)✨
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution $7.20 Why I bought the product? I originally brought the product about 4 years ago for its promises on texturizing the skin. What the product claims to do? Smooth skins texture, brighten, and heal blemishes. First impressions using the product? When I first used the product I was afraid to use it since it is an acid. I felt the intense tingling and left it on for less than 5 minutes. As time went on I could leave the product in longer without the uncomfortable burning sensation. What I think now? This product, with time, does exactly what it says: improves skins texture and heals blemishes. My skin is so smooth and clear with continued use of this product. Active ingredients: Glycolic acid- an exfoliant that helps treat scarring **if you have sensitive USE WITH CAUTION as this product could cause burning
